Serious: The Milky Way Pirates Chapter 1: adventure in Windmill Village ((THREAD CLOSED TO EVERYONE EXCEPT MASQUERADE))

Arianne smiled, bending down to stroke pat Lawrence's head. "Well, if you're still hungry, I can show you to the galley. Captain's Star's ship is truly beautiful all over...and thankfully, the cook- Genshi- is rather skilled too."
She guided him down to the kitchen, looking up at him from under the veil of her blonde fringe. "I hope they don't continue that music war all the way to our next port..." Arianne sighed before continuing. "I wonder where Captain Star is planning on heading. The specific island, I mean...I imagine our overall destination will be the Grand Line."

''adamand is kind of a hyporcrit.''said cast laughing.right after cast sayd that adamand stopped trying to kick and turned himself to avery.''i am talking about a music brute.''.he said casual like nothing ever happened.''does that actually matter''replied cast.''no it does not...''.adamands mood changed once again and he started to facewall right next to the hole he just flew trough.''seens you havebt changed either''said cast with a grin on his face.

Genshi couldn't help uttering a chuckle. These two were pretty funny. Genshi heard a stomach growling. Oh, it was his. With all the distractions and discussion, he'd forgotten to eat.

"I'll eat later. Or maybe now." Genshi thought to himself.

Genshi got caught up in his train of thought, he'd eat eventually.

The man had finally built up enough courage to ask for a ship. Speaking in a yell, but a pathetic one, he said "Does anyone have a ship I could get a ride in, I don't care where I end up". He then waited, hoping someone had heard him

Saki saw how those two brothers acted, she found it really funny. She smiled at Avery when he came back, and went to the kitchen, Genshi as well, followed by Arianne, who was talking with Avery.

Saki was going to join the brother's chat but she heard someone speaking, so she turned to Adamand "I'll be right back" she said and left the ship, looking at the docks for the one who yelled.

She found the man, he had a hood that hided his eyes, but Saki didn't mind. "Hey, are you ok?" she asked worried. If he needs something, I would love to help him, he seems to need help, Saki thought.

''ok thats it it!cast i challenge you to a duel!''.''regular rules?''.''no the rules of our dead grandma.OF COURSE THE REGULAR RULES!''.the two brothers then grabbed a deck of cards and started to play a card game.after a while adamand won and he said''HA loser!''.''no way you filthy cheat!''cast the threw the table they where playing on away and tackled adamand.they where rolling over the deck fighting eachother until they both got tired.''ok you win this time''.''want a revange?''.''hell yea!"'.they grabbed the table and the cards and started to play another game.

As Adamand aimed a jump kick at Grudge, although he had yet to realise what the fellow musician was doing, he ducked andstage slid across the deck, ripping through some more chords, quickly retorting to Adamand; "Your not a groupie, your the back up.", and quickly reverting back to his song, which had almost finished up, and started getting back up on his feet, and quickly started headbanging.

"Does anyone have a ship I could get a ride in, I don't care where I end up" he repeated, way more silently then last time, getting more silent as he spoke

Saki looked at him and nodded "I have a ship, you can come. If you want you can join my crew. I'm Saki Star, nice to meet you" she said extending her hand so he could shook it.

Snow followed Saki towards the outside of her ship shortly after he heard a man ask for a ride. He followed Saki up to the point where a man with a hoody was in front of him, Snow sensed no danger between him so he sat down next to Saki. Snow was looking up at his face and moving his head on Sakis hip, waiting to be peted (For some reason the way she did it allways calmed him). Snow then stopped and walked over towards the shy man, he grabbed his sleeve with his teeth and lightly pulled him over towards the ship. He looked at Saki for approval, maybe she'd respond back with ok.

Avery nodded, digesting all of this information. “It is impossible to say where we will go next,” Avery murmured. “There are several islands nearby. It could be any one of them, or none of them, should Star decide to just pass right on through. As for the Grand Line…I’ve been there once or twice. I’ll admit, it’s a tough place. Saw a couple of monsters there…and the pirates that go there are practically monsters themselves. I suppose they would have to be tough, though. Pretty much everyone goes there at some point.” Avery paused. He wasn’t sure if he should tell Arianne about his reasons for not joining the crew right away. “I…” he began slowly. Then it all came spilling out. “…I honestly wonder if this crew can make it. You see, I want to join this crew, I really do. But I’ve had this dream that if ever I became a pirate, then I would serve under the Pirate King. A new crew like this one…there’s no telling what will happen to it.” Avery sighed. “But maybe I’ve just got my priorities mixed up. I don’t know.”

Arianne listened to Avery carefully, sitting down at a table in the galley and nodding. "Yes, I suppose there are a lot of options." Her eyes shone briefly with intrigue. "You've actually been to the Grand Line?"
She was about to ask him about his adventures there but she fell silent, listening to him again.

She leaned upon the table, resting her chin atop her palm. "Hm...this crew certainly has a number of...eccentric...recruits, tough or not. Who knows? We've yet to be confronted by a situation of conflict. Perhaps once in battle, this crew will reveal itself to be a much more formidable fighting force than it looks..." Arianne smiled faintly to him. "Your dream is a respectable one...and your reason for not joining the crew right away is understandable. I can see why one would want to be a member of a strong crew. A strong crew would be able to survive the hardships of the Grand Line and might also have a potential Pirate King on board...and I can understand why you'd like to be an ally of the Pirate King too. Your priorities seem perfectly fine to me. You care about survival. That's important. Though, maybe after travelling with this crew to the next port, you'll have found a reason to want to stay with this crew."

Arianne took a deep breath. Avery had been so honest with her about his reasons about not wanting to join the crew straight away. Could she trust him enough to tell him her reasons for joining this specific crew straight away?
She exhaled, deciding to take a chance. "To be perfectly honest, I'm not so sure about the strength of this crew either. Time will tell, I imagine. But there is a reason why I wish to remain on this particular crew other than for the sake of having a crew to be part of..." Arianne hunched her shoulders a little, looking down at her hands fumbling in her lap. "You've heard of the Akuma no Mi, right? The Devil Fruits? Well, I study them and their often horrific effects on the human body and human behaviour. I know I'll never further in my studies though, unless I observe Devil Fruit users in real life. This crew is abundant in Devil Fruit users...while serving on this crew, I'd have the opportunity to watch the powers of various Akuma no Mi users..." She exhaled. "That's an odd reason, isn't it?"

''you know you need to patch that hole do you?''.asked adamand to cast.''hell no you do it you flew trough it''.''yea i magicali fly trough walls all by myself''.''so we agree?''.''that was sarcasm idiot.''.''then lets decide it our way.''.''i agree.''.the two stood up and looked eachother in the eyes.rock paper scissor! they yelled.cast lost and started to patch the hole,and adamand started sleeping on the ground again.

As Avery was listening to Arianne, he searched the kitchen for food. After locating the meat, he took out a steak, put it on a plate, grabbed a knife and went to the table. He nodded when she asked if he had heard of the Devil Fruits and his eyebrows slid upwards just slightly when she mentioned their ‘often horrific effects’. It wasn’t hard to tell which side of the issue she stood on. But her last sentence, her question, threw him for a loop.

“Odd?” Avery repeated, sounding surprised. “Why should it be odd? I think the whole Devil Fruit thing is fascinating. In fact, just last week I ran into a girl who could turn into smoke. That’s not something you see every day.”

Avery took the knife and cut the steak in two. He gave one half to Lawrence, who set about tearing it apart with his teeth. Avery wasn’t much better, but at least he did use the knife to cut off large chunks before stabbing them with that same knife and sticking them in his mouth.

“Devil Fruits are not my area of expertise,” Avery continued after swallowing his latest ‘bite’. “I do know that they make people unable to swim, but I wasn’t aware they affected people’s behavior. What do you mean by that?”

Genshi decided thinking time was over. Whenever he would get caught in a thinking session, he'd be there for hours. He was going to eat now. He made hi way into the kitchen and grabbed a smaller piece of meat, finishing it off in one bite, followed by a long sip of juice. Genshi realized the others. Arriane and, umm.

"Hey guy, I don't think I've gotten your name either. If you didn't hear before, i'm Genshi." he said

As Grudge finally finished his song, he noticed that nearly everybody was no longer on deck much to his dismay, and for a moment a pang of self pity went through him, though of course didn't last long. "Guess there must of been some huge emergency when I was playing, and because I was too busy being so awesome that I didn't notice it! Better check if there done with what ever it was." He then smugly walked into the kitchen where he annouced to everyone there; "Don't worry, what ever that emergency was i'm pretty sure it was almost more important than me rocking out, so I forgive you guy's." He then sat down on the nearest chair, putting his feet on the table, and asked with out a hint of mockery in his voice; "So you guy's got any fresh bat heads?"

“Oh, hey Genshi,” Avery said, looking around at the other man. Avery hadn’t even noticed him come in. “You’re the…um…cook, aren’t you?” Avery stabbed the rest of his steak with his knife and raised it into the air. “This is very good. Well done. And I’m not talking about how long you cooked it.”

Avery glanced at Grudge as he came in, but then he shrugged and turned away, uninterested.

The man looked at Saki, but didn't shake her hand "sure, ok" he said, talking silently

Saki smiled "Well, what's your name?" she asked politely, since he hadn't introduced himself. She was happy to have someone else in the crew; it was awesome for her.
So many new crew mates in one day, I'm sooo lucky, Saki thought while grinning, she really was happy. Her dream was closer now.

Arianne sighed. "I'm sorry if I sound biased or something." She took a deep breath. "I had a bad experience with some Devil Fruit users a few years ago..." Her hands clenched in her lap briefly, her knuckles turning a milky white. She then took a breath again and calmed herself. "I know it's wrong of me to generalize though. Even so, what I mean is that such power...such abilities that surpass human capability...often is too great a burden for people to bear or they abuse their powers. And a lot of the Zoan fruits change a person's body completely...one bite and a person has to change their whole lifestyle..."

She blinked, looking up at Genshi and smiling. "Hello again, Mr Genshi." She raised her eyebrows at Grudge and she stammered, surprised at his forwardness. "Uh...right...well, no...I don't think we have any bat-heads, Mr-?"

The man looked at her "See...well the thing is" he said, talking in a shy, quiet voice "I don't...have one?" he said, trailing off

Grudge looks suprised at Arianne for a moment who just asked for his name, but then went on to say; "Oh I get it! my pure famous awesomeness must be so powerful that it makes you forget even my name! The names Grudge Blakheart! The legendary rock legend from Fishman Island! You have permisson to bask in my awesomeness!" He then smiled rather cockily, thinking that all around him would let it sink in he was celebrity and make a huge fuss about him.

''ok that's it!''said cast standing up from the place he was patching.he walked angry toward grudge and charged his fist with electricity.once he got close he made a punching move toward grudge aimed at his stomach.when hit it would at-least hit him uncounsious.

Genshi was happy to receive his first good review.

"Why thank you. I take great pride in my cooking. As a pirate chef, I have to keep the crew happy and well fed. Thank you for the compliment. But you still didn't give me your name." he said,

Grudge was startled by Cast's sudden out burst, and panicked as one of the violent brothers flew towards him. Luckily during his fit of panic the guitarist swang on his chair too far and toppled over onto the ground with a thud. "Owch, man whats up with those bros? There just loonies looking for an excuse to punch something, or maybe their jealous of how awesome a rock legend I am.", the fishman mumbled to himself; "Guess I might have to swim the rest of the way afterall." He then stood up a little confused and held his guitar ready just in case there was going to be a battle "Dude, attacking a musician when he's relaxing is just lame.", Grudge retorted.
