Name: Kurenai Whip
Description: This weapon is a long, black, metal-cabled whip -like the kind an animal tamer might use. The handle is 60cm long and the cable is 6ft long. It is light enough to be swung around freely but heavy and sharp enough to lacerate flesh and crack wood (when wielded and lashed with enough force) but obviously not enough to break stone (unless wielded by a holder with superhuman strength).
It can also wrap around beams, rigging and any kind of fixed object above the user’s head and be used as a means of swinging across crevices or gaps.
The handle of the whip is a dark crimson red and the hilt of the whip tapers to a sharp, black spike that can optionally be used to stab at opponents.
Requires both force and finesse to use as although the whip’s cable can cause great damage when cracked by a user with worthy strength, the cable can also cause a clumsy user great damage if they cannot avoid being tangled in it.

History: Designed and crafted by Reiko “Red” Fujiwara during her time working as an apprentice blacksmith. Created originally to prove her worth to her master and with the intention of selling it to a worthy buyer. However after its completion, Red decided to keep it for herself and work on improving its versatility.
