Appearance:
Jericho is 6'0 and is quite skinny. He has light skin and dirty blonde hair. He has a pointy nose and pointy teeth. He is not too buff but very flexible , and it shows in his body structure. What he lacks in muscles he has in speed and reflex. He wears a marine jacket and pants with his shotgun and machete at his side.

History:
Jericho was born on the North Blue in a small unknown island. He was part of a huge recruitment drive to increase the number of marines in the navy. He started at the age of 19 in the marines. He was stationed in several locations , most notably the grandline and East Blue. Jericho was considered relatively ordinary, he had no special qualities or skills other than his quick skill with his shot gun and machete. Jericho rose through the ranks rather strangely, he had no real influence but something made him spark, it was his skill to talk his way through the top. He was considered a sly and cunning bastard who would be able to worm his way into anything. He also had good persuasive skill making him a decent negotiator. Jericho moved all the way up to Lieutenant by the age of 24. However there was a incident that made him famous .

When Jericho was 25 years of age he was stationed in the area near an island known as Santa Gorret. He had wind that the island was used often for helping pirates and housing them. However most of the navy usually avoid this island because it is considered too dangerous and because there are civilian families on it. Jericho disobeyed orders and went to the island. His justification saying if there is such a obvious target they should not let it be wasted. He took a small group of marines onto the island.

When back up arrived later and walked on to the island, they saw, every single pirate, and every single human being had been slaughtered on that island, all except for Jericho who was in the centre. His eyes were red and he was laughing to himself. Jericho was from there on known as the "Butcher of Santa Gorret" and it was for this reason as well he received his position of Commodore. It was also due to this reason, no one wanted to work with Jericho, they considered him too mentally unstable and most people feared being put in his team. That was until Rear Admiral Martello approached him to ask him to join his new Archangel squad. Jericho agreed with a long term view to eventually use this group to make him more famous and gain more power . He is considered the representation of "Envy" in the archangels



Personality:
Jericho is not a good person. He will use any trick , any loophole and any shortcut to maintain his status, even if that means stabbing people in the back to make this a reality. Jericho can get easily jealous of the status and power others have but never really speaks about it, instead he speaks sweet words and tries to butter up his superiors so that they would underestimate him. This trick doesnt work on Martello so much since Martello knows the true nature of Jericho.

Jericho turns psychotic when dealing with immense pressure or threat to his life. In this situation his eyes go red and his body begins to go past its limit. He acts impulsively and starts becoming blood thirsty and cruel. He goes for vital and killer methods. And becomes very volatile and violent, killing anyone and everyone in his path excluding his squad members of course as long as they dont interrupt him. He calls it Red mode.

Special Abilities:

Normal mode : In this mode Jericho has proficiency with his shotgun or his machete, he never uses both at the same time when he is normal. He posseses basic strength necessary of the marines , and has good speed and reflexes. He is also rational and can talk very well to convince and deceive people.

Red Eye Mode:in this mode, he gains incredibly overwhelming strength and focus. He is able to move faster and use dual weapons. He becomes more violent and ignores flesh wounds and injuries in this mode. This still means that a fatal wound is fatal, just that he is likely to use his strength to kill and satisfy his blood lust. He can usually go for a long time in his red eye mode.
