APPEARANCE: Harvey's skin is a light brown color. Black number tattoos reading "P-N:00537" are visible on his hands from his time in prison. He is relatively short with a height of 5,11 feet and relatively thin with the weight of 130 lbs, his sword, Saikou Kikite, is longer and heavier than he is and it's handle goes over his head when it is strapped to his back. Harvey's limbs are long compared to his body and he sports long fingers as well. Harvey's black hair is curly and is held down by an orange bandanna. Harvey wears an orange Gi that is used as a jacket over his black T-shirt. Harvey also wears white baggy pants that are cut slightly below the knee creating the design of Bermuda shorts. Harvey also wears a pair of wooden sandals with steel plates nailed to the underside.
HISTORY: Harvey was born in a village named Coal Bay, that earned it's name from the coal mines around it. The village is built near a volcano on one side an the South Blue on the other side. Harvey's family owned one of the coal mines in the village.
Harvey lived a normal life until the age of seven when a few marine ships anchored in the village's bay area. The marines, under the command of Captain Shirui Honda, had a warrant from the government that allowed them to take control of the coal mines. The Grin family, along with a few other families refused to give up their property and were sent to a minor-crimes jail near the island of Coal Bay Village, leaving Harvey alone.
Harvey, who only knew how to mine coal, was quickly reduced to a state of hunger. He tried to get his hands on as many jobs as he could but with the marines slowly taking the island away, only a few hired him.
One night, while Harvey took a little nap in a small ally he was woken by a fist aimed straightly to his gut. When he got up, coughing blood, Harvey found himself facing the "Coal Dragons", one of many street gangs that swarmed the village since the marines came. He knew what he had to do, he placed his earnings from his last week of working on the floor and took a few steps deeper into the ally. "That's it?" the leader of the gang shouted, "That's all you earned? I dont believe it! Youre hiding money!". Harvey didnt even get the chance to deny the words, the gang ran at him with knives and hammers ready to shred his body to pieces. Harvey screamed and curled into a ball, he was sure that this was his end, a pathetic end for his pathetic life, and there was silence. When Harvey opened his eyes the entire gang was lying on the floor either wounded or shocked and a hooded man offered him a hand. From this day forward, Harvey took a vow to never be weak and helpless again.
The hooded man was the town's blacksmith Rio Gi Noma. To Harvey's surprise, Rio was a famous swordsman years ago and was considered legendary at his time. Rio knew Harvey's parents well and took Harvey under his wing claiming he owned the Grin family a depth. Harvey spent eleven years training with swordsman, developing his strength and speed to super-human proportions and learned how to master a sword. The swordsman noticed Harvey's passion for music and made him his trumpet and harmonica. Harvey took advantage of his musical skills and dancing skills to make easy money on the streets. He developed his own unique fighting style, Buyou Kendo, to protect his money and became a powerful fighter.
On his 18th birthday, He was called to Shirui Honda's ship. Apparently, Honda committed crimes on the island and violated marine orders, what will lead to his arrest by the marines. He offered Harvey a choice, take the marine's crimes as his own and in return, Honda will release his parents and leave the village. Harvey took the offer, in order to save his parents, Rio and his entire village. Before he was shipped to prison, he asked his master to forge him his dream sword, the Saikou Kikite, from his finest metal, in the island's volcano.
After spending a year in prison Harvey escaped, earning himself a high bounty. He knew he couldnt go back to his home because the marines will find him there. From this day forward Harvey sails the seas as a pirate to fight the marine's corrupted power wherever they might be.
PERSONALITY: Harvey is not of royal blood, and so he doesn't act like he is. He is loud and rude. He is able to tell any man alive exactly what he thinks about him without feeling the slightest regret. Harvey loves only a few things: music, food, fighting, dancing and good jokes. Anything else is either hated or unworthy of his attention. Harvey is only loyal to himself and his nakama. He will fight for every of his nakama whether he likes them or not. Harvey, inspired by his master, will fight in order to protect anyone who is too weak to protect themselves. He is very proud of his music and dancing and will go as far as punching a person who underestimates him or his music.

SPECIAL ABILITIES: Super Strength: Able to use his heavy sword with only one hand without the slightest effort. Harvey is also able to lift extremely heavy objects, such as big lumps of cole, with relative ease. His strongest punches can easily break bones and shatter stones, though steel is steel impenetrable to him.
Super Speed: Harvey is able to run extremely fast. Not as fast as outrunning cheetahs but Harvey can compete againt wild animals like boars and such and even win in most cases. Harvey is also able to make extremely fast movements that cant be seen by a normal eye, like drawing his sword in the Happoshu technique.
Super Hearing: Harvey can pick up conversations and sounds from hundreds of meters away. With the help of his sword, this ability is enhanced and he can also pick-up Den Den Mushi transmissions with it.
Extreme Durability:Powered by his 12 years old vow, Harvey can fight even after suffering extreme blood loss and injuries with only his will driving him. Harvey can fight for extended periods of time without resting and can operate normally with missing hours of sleep or leck of water and food.
Dancing Skills And Musical Talent: Harvey mastered the harmonica and trumpet and can play either of them with extreme skill. He can produce various styles of music and can learn how to play new songs just by hearing them ones. Harvey is also extremely talented in the fields of break-dancing and Capoeira, using it in his fights with his heavy sword on his back.
Buyou Kendo: This is Harvey's fighting style. Using his dancing skills, Harvey created a highly unorthodox sword style and a fighting style based on break-dancing and Capoeira moves. This style is constantly developing while Harvey adapts moves and ideas from every martial art he lays an eye on.
LEARNED TECHNIQUES: Happoshu- Using a vast amount of mental focus, Harvey nearly-instantaneously draws and then slashes horizontally while dashing past an opponent.
Shin Jaru- Commencing from a standing position, Harvey makes one fast, powerful 360 swing around himself, either striking opponents or deflecting incoming attacks.
Nihonshu- Commencing from any position, Harvey uses his advanced raw instinct and physical prowess to seamlessly side step one attack - as though he suddenly flickered there - and then strike out in one quick fluid motion.
Chuhai- A technique where Harvey is on the receiving end of an enemy's attack. Before the attack could land, Harvey would use a parry and move the attack away from him. Immediately after parrying the attack, the user would use a two-handed sword thrust at the enemy's chest or abdomen.
Umeshu- A technique where Harvey waits for an enemy to attack him with a kicking or punching attack. Before the attack is able to land, Harvey uses a rapid but shallow counter-slash in order to damage the leg or arm, depending on the attack.
Seichu - A technique where Harvey rushes an enemy and uses his sword to force-parry the enemy weapon away to open the centerline. The swordsman would then pivot and attack with a roundhouse kick to the abdomen and follow through the pivot to hook-sweep the enemy's leg with a sword. To finish the technique, the swordsman would deliver a downward cleave to the spine of the enemy as they hit the ground from the sweep.
Chirashi- The user either spreads their legs to shoulder width or can stand straight up facing the opponent, leaning their upper body in the direction of the opponent until the abdomen is almost parallel to the ground or leaning forward. The arms shoot forth with powerful fists that collide with the chest and stomach simultaneously.
Temaki - Harvey ducks down and quickly launches upwards with full force with his body slamming a kick against the opponent's face. The opponent is then launched high into the air for one post as Harvey is able to use stronger techniques.
Makizushi – A straight kick facing the opponent sometimes performed from a handstand. The idea is to push with the hips to gain greater extension.
Meharizushi – This attack is aimed for the groin or head. With the correct use of movement Harvey will achieve full force, and will send a powerful blow to your enemy sending them to the ground in pain.
Buyou no Kai - Harvey will perform a powerful and quick frontal slash with his sword, sending a slicing air wave that is able to cut through materials as hard as stone up to 20 meters away from the original slash. This technique requires a moment of concentration and is usually performed after Temaki.
Buyou no Furi-Kai - A slightly different version of the air slash. Instead of a powerful air wave, Harvey sends a wide wave that covers more area. The consists of weak slicing air currents that move in a chaotic pattern making this attack very difficult to avoid. This technique requires a moment of concentration and is usually performed after Temaki.
Buyou no Aoru - Harvey spins his sword infront of his body like a fan using both hands creating a spiral of slicing air currents. This is a defensive technique performed in order to block incoming frontal attacks.
WEAPONS/ITEMS: Saikou Kikite (https://theonepiecerp.rpg-board.net/t3769-saikou-kikite), a golden trumpet and a silver harmonica.
CHARACTER FLAWS: As a result of his past, Harvey simply despises any man or woman wearing a uniform, whether it's a marine or a waitress. This can cause various rude or aggressive actions from Harvey. Harvey will simply jump into any fight involving a marine and will be rude to anyone who shows a hint of slavery by wearing a uniform.
GOAL: -Fight the corrupted forces of the marines wherever they are.
