Appearance: Rachel stands at 5’10”. She is dark-skinned. Most people would say that she has a beautiful figure, but she does have a couple of odd characteristics. For one thing, she has long, silvery hair that falls half-way down her back. For another, her eyes are a bright, ruby red color. Rachel is never seen without her black choker necklace that has a topaz set in the front of it. Rachel normally wears something light, such as a simple white shirt and dark pants. She has small, almost unnoticeable slits on the backs of each of her shirts for where her wings come out when she uses her zoan fruit power. She never wears shoes, no matter what the circumstances are. She keeps a rapier at her side at all times.

History: Rachel grew up somewhere on the Grandline, although she has never told anyone where it was. At some point in her life, Rachel left her home and began traveling the world, searching for new experiences that she could put into writing.

Eventually, Rachel ended up in a village that was called Zymo. A local government had been terrorizing this village and several others surrounding it. They kept the Marines from finding out about their actions by killing anyone who tried to leave. This particular village had attempted a mass escape, leaving only a few people behind so that those people could take care of the village’s children while the rest of the adults were gone getting help. The escape failed and everyone who had tried to escape was killed. Rachel had gotten caught by the government as she was passing by and she was and placed in Zymo to keep her contained.

Elsewhere the Snow Pirates were coming towards these islands and the local government’s people ran into them. The battle was short and it ended with the Snow Pirates sinking the enemy ship. They arrived at Zymo and met Rachel, who was helping take care of the children. Rachel told them about what was happening and asked them to help. Ever the gentleman, Winston wanted to help her right away, but Then Alice pointed out that they would get nothing from helping these people, so she ordered her people off of the island.

By this point, the local government had found the survivors of the battle with the Snow Pirates and they tracked the Snow Pirates to Zymo. They came in and after a fierce battle, the local government’s people were defeated, but they kidnapped Risty and took her back to their base.

Alice then decided to follow after them and Rachel asked if she could come along. She had seen the Snow Pirates power and she wanted to take this chance that they could defeat the government. So, they all went there together and once more fought the government. This time, the government was not holding back. They brought out their most powerful fighters. However, in the end the Snow Pirates proved victorious. They destroyed that government’s castle where their king lived.

After the battle ended, Rachel asked Alice if she could come with them. She had decided that she could probably get some great material for her books. Alice agreed since she had seen what Rachel was capable of in battle.

Personality: Rachel is one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. She has an almost motherly instinct when it comes to her friends. She especially loves children. However, for reasons she keeps to herself, Rachel has never been married and had any kids of her own.
