Name: Dearmond Dahlia
Baroque Works Agent: Miss Blue-Monday
Age: 23
Bounty: 30,000,000
Species: Kuja (Human)
Occupation: Doctor, Assassin
Allegiance: Baroque Works
Home Village/Ocean: Amazon Lily, Grand Line
Appearance:History:Born on Amazon Lily, the Island of Women, Dahlia from a young age was never one for physical combat. She was fierce and fast, but she was never strong like most of the Kuja there were. It would seem that she was not destined to be as such, just like her mother. Dahlia's mother specialized in the art of healing, and instructed young women of Amazon Lily, who were interested, on how to become good field medics and doctors. After all, the brute fighter girls could only do so much out there.
However, Dahlia also had developed an interest in the many forms of weapons out there. In fact, while most Kuja used the standard traditional weapons like bows, crossbows and the like, Dahlia made her own unique set of weapons, one of the first one and her favorite of which was her Gegetsuburi, which allowed her to fire needles from her wrist. However, during spars with one strong Kuja girl by the name of Orochi Meganehebi, Dahlia realized that needles were useless because anyone with good durability and tensile strength could stand up despite the pain.
Despite being weak, though, Dahlia had the pride of the Kuja and she believed that true beauty lay in strength. Not physical strength, but the strength to defeat your enemy. Hence, Dahlia did not take the defeat's she suffered lightly. Soon enough, she got the idea of using her medical skills to her advantage. After all, if drugs could give life they could take it as well. Hence, Dahlia began developing some unique poisons for use with the Gegetsuburi. Though, she never got to re-spar with Meganehebi, whom she desperately wanted to defeat, because she had found that the girl had disappeared.
Determined, Dahlia too, using various illustrious and creative means, left Amazon Lily, eager to go out, see the world, learn new things about the weapons craft and medicine and become a great warrior, while at the same time find Meganehebi and defeat her. While she never found Meganehebi and soon largely forgot about that goal, she still trained under various teachers to learn about the ways of the assassin, which gave her extensive knowledge in the field of poisons, in which her previous knowledge as a doctor helped, as well as making sneaky weapons and seduction.
Not really a part of either side, in order to test her abilities and hone them further Dahlia attacked both Marines and Pirates, just for fun. She soon developed that little spark of enjoying her job like every assassin did, even becoming a professional and seeking out jobs. During one of these jobs, she was assigned to kill a Marine Commodore who had made quite a few enemies, together with his entire Marine crew, for a very handsome price. She succeeded, because even Logia users when caught by surprise were helpless, however she accidentally alerted the rest of the crew before she could sink their ship. She managed to defeat several Marines who attacked her to intercept her, except about five of them, one which managed to take her picture.
Hence, despite not being officially a pirate, the Marines took an avid interest in her for killing one of their Commodores and potential Rear Admirals. She was issued a gigantic initial bounty of
16,000,000, mainly because she was seen as a big enough threat. While an annoyance, the bounty only managed to earn her a bit more recognition in the crime underworld and even more handsome-paying individuals began to approach her. After all, if one could kill a Marine Commodore with a Logia devil fruit one had to be good at what they did. She got more jobs, many of which put her at odds with the Marines more often than naught. Finally, when she managed to strike down a Rear Admiral by poisoning his food with her Red Poison (granted, he didn't die, but he was hospitalized for a month), her bounty rose all the way to
30,000,000.
Soon enough, her adventures led her to a certain enigmatic man who only told him that he went by Mister Zero (or Mr. 0). He saw talent in her and asked her to join an operation he was undertaking. In return, she would get an ancient book on medical weapons, plus a handsome award. Enthralled, Dearmond Dahlia found her way into becoming one of the founding members of the Baroque Works bounty hunting agency. Well going from sworn enemy of the Marines to a bounty hunter was a bit ironic, Miss Blue-Monday, as always, was the best at what she did.
Personality: Dahlia is a strong person. She doesn’t like to be messed with, bossed around, and/or told how to live her life. This especially applies to men, being a Kuja. Due to her environment as a young girl, Dahlia has developed a great amount of independence and that brings along how strong she is when it comes to how she is in life. Maturing in the Grand Line and the Blues all by herself when she left Amazon Lily, she acquired the ability to be independent at a very young age. She could dress herself, cook for herself, buy small things for herself, and work for things.
Earn things. Of course, the
way she earned things was a bit bloody but hey, she was good at what she did.
Dahlia is a stubborn person. You just can’t put that nicely. She has a tough time following orders, unless it’s absolutely necessary. Perhaps Mr. 0 is the only person she's willing to follow the orders of, and to be honest that's only because he's apparently filthy rich and she gets great massages out of the Millions he commands. Still, she wouldn't necessarily follow orders without a fight, unless of course she gets the logic behind it. However, though she is stubborn, she's still basically a kind woman. She isn’t coldhearted unless in her assassin persona. Even then she would never let an innocent person die if they had zero fault in the matter and were just that: bystanders. She can be very coldhearted in this persona, but still she has moral values that she does not cross. If someone actually manages to earn her trust and become, say, a friend, she would have their back no questions asked.
Ship: The Ellusive III, a personal small cruising yacht owned by Dahlia as an agent of Baroque Works. While not as big as most ships, it is quite complex in design, possessing docile handling qualities, good interior space, good light-wind performance and on-board comfort.

Special Abilities: Medical Expertise: Dahlia, being a professional doctor with her mother being the Chief Healer in the Kuja tribe, has a large knowledge of medicine and medical drugs as well as the preparation of remedies and ointments from regular fruits, roots and vegetables found on most islands. Most of this she learned during her apprenticeship under her mother, Dr. Sonya, with the latter teaching her most of the medicinal procedures that she has mastered. She further trained her medicine, especiall medicinal poisons during her travels across the blues and is perhaps a foremost expert in the field of poisons. Most of her offensive attacks are based solely around poison, with her poison set containing the three Red, Blue and Green poisons her most used in battle, together with her Gegetsuburi. Very much like she can create remedies out of herbs, she can do the same with poison.
Weapon Specialist: Dahlia's main mode of offense, she also specializes in weapons. She excels in both long-range combat using her poisoned needles, as well as short-range combat by using her kenjutsu, bōjutsu and her dual chakram. She also has, since she was born, a natural talent at being able to make efficient and powerful weapons from very meagre raw materials. She possesses a zanbato, Ryūmon, that she obtained from one of the people she assassinated, and is proficient in its use, showing off tremendous swordsmanship capabilities when she has to fight her way to safety. The zanbato can also be broken down allowing for a dual-sword style, making Dahlia proficient in Nitōryū as well. However, since Dahlia, being mainly an assassin lurks in the shadows and prefers not to go out in open combat, is not often seen using her zanbato. She often uses more covert operations to do her job quickly and skillfully, such as her Gegetsuburi, the first weapon she ever made, which she can use to shoot poisoned needles at her opponent to incapacitate them. Other weapons she often uses are a bo-staff, and she showed great proficiency in wielding it, and a tantou designed for striking covertly while at the same time distracting an opponent.
Superhuman Speed and Agility: While Dahlia's main specialty lies in her expertise in weapons and poisons, and she was always a weak one compared to the rest of the Kuja, she still possesses superhuman speed and agility. Being a doctor, she has to keep her distance in battle, making sure not to injure herself so she can be of use in healing her nakama later. However, she can use this offensively, as she is quite fast and equally fierce and precise in her attacks.
Tactical Wit: Making up for her lack of physical strength, Dahlia is very intelligent. She is able to effectively plan ahead, think up versatile strategies mid-battle and find a way to escape without making people aware most of the time. Her abilities at tactics and strategy have proved most useful in allowing her to take down high-level Marines, including a Commodore and a Rear Admiral, while still remaining largely undetected, except for a few fails every once or twice.
Seduction and Assassination: Dahlia, being a Kuja from Amazon Lily and a good looking one at that, has a body that heterosexual men usually only find in their dreams. She exudes a sensuality and sophistication that makes her very adept at seduction. She has grown adept at gauging men's moods and learning how to offer them what they want or need to appease them. Like all assassins, she often uses seduction in order to lure male targets before literally stabbing them in the back. She can effectively hide in the shadows and strike from unexpected places, as part of her assassination skills.
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): None in particular. She mostly uses her weapons.
