Question about Barely-Canons

Hello, err, I'm "New Person" Pathea and I wanted to ask any mods out there a question.

Well there was this character in the One Episode episode about the Slave Auctions (I can't recall the exact number, sorry), where, before the mermaid Keimi came there was this blue-haired dancer called Pathea.

I was wondering if I could play her? I mean, she barely had a dialogue and only had about a maximum of 10 mins worth of screen time. So she'll mostly be an OC since I'll make up her history, personality, powers and pretty much everything. So, basically, can I just use Pathea's name, occupation as a dancer and her Face Claim for my character?

Apologies, but there are no exceptions to the "no canon characters" rule. I'm sorry.

We don't really see anything of her face, just her hair... You know, the funny thing is, if you'd just have done it and described her looks, I wouldn't even have noticed. I'd still say no though. This AU (alternate universe) is set shortly after Gold Rogers execution, so about twenty years before the events in the manga. She's be a little kid, and even if that wouldn't be a problem, we don't allow canon characters. I guess you can still use the name if you like it so much though.

i think if you make a appearance similar to hers and a history somewhat similar, it will not be an issue, change the name and history and other stuff, but in essence , you could consider it similar to that character

Can I just use the name, and the picture as an avatar then and write out a profile for a blue-haired dancer, then? Because the name goes with the kind of devil fruit power I had intended for her...

i dot want to violate the rules.... but we cannot deny that people always get their inspiration for their characters from cannon sources or popular texts, media and so on. So when someone wants to try to roleplay a really strong swordsman for example, they have a template of what that should be, in some cases, this is zoro, or Ryuma, etc, etc....
