Why the gentle loving touch are Logia users not allowed to transform into their element (that's kind of the biggest part of Logia type devil fruits), and thus why is Haki not allowed? The only reason I ask this is for my new character since I recently joined the site, and the fact that Haki and Logia users, being able to transform into their element, are both huge parts of the actual One Piece manga and anime.

It was decided long ago and reaffirmed every time this topic was brought up that the majority of the users just don't want it. It would complicate things and allow people to take advantage of the op movesets that these abilities would bring about. If you want logia transformations and haki the Advanced Section allows such.
