Appearance: Owen is a little over 6 feet tall and weighs in at about 160 lbs, with a runner’s build. He has a well defined physique, but is still slim. He has red hair and green eyes. He keeps his hair well trimmed and short, and he spikes it up. He doesn’t have any facial hair. When on the job he wears a traditional marine uniform. However, when not on assignment or when he needs to be discrete he wears a set of civilian clothes. He wears a pair of khakis and a loose green vest over a white shirt. He typically doesn’t wear shoes because his feet are so calloused. He does wear dress shoes while in his uniform.

History: Owen’s father Richard was the doctor for White Code and wanted his son to follow in his footsteps. At a young age Owen showed a considerable skill in medicine. Anytime he would get an injury he would fix it before his father even found out.

When Owen was nine, his father found out about the White Code recruiting children. Richard put Owen’s name in for the program. Owen was accepted and sent off at age ten. Owen took well to the training. Not only was he trained in fighting but also in medical skills. He was really good at dressing battle wounds and performing surgeries under stress. When the Rokushiki training began Owen showed great potential in Shigan. He mastered all the other forms of Rokushiki, but due to his medical practices Shigan was his best skill.

Owen’s first true test happened before he was out of training. During leave Owen went to a bar to relax a bit. A bar fight broke out between two sailors, and Owen tried to break it up. Then one of the sailors hit Owen in the face and the rest of the bar broke out into a fight. An officer was at the bar as well. Because the sailors were so drunk they began to attack the officer. He easily handled the fighters, but in a drunken rage one of the sailors pulled a pistol and shot the officer. Owen quickly rushed to his side to inspect the wound. Luckily it had missed all the major organs, but the officer was bleeding heavily. Owen removed the bullet and sewed up the wound right before the other medics arrived. This real world experience helped show Owen the reason he wanted to be a doctor. He wanted to help save lives.

Personality: Owen keeps to himself for the most part. He does spend time with his fellow team mates. But he seems most happy when he is practicing medicine. Owen is always calm and collected, and likes to keep silent. He tries to be precise in everything he does.
