How could it block a cannon ball? That is to say, isn't a cannon ball a little too, you know... canonbally to be blocked by such a small shield? But hey, we're talking about a universe that has men catch magma balls with a spear and blow them out! So yeah, don't see a big problem with this... APPROVED!
