Guermo is spacious country in the New world. It rains rock from pebble-boulder size on schedule. The water flows up from the earth. Many decades ago the civilians invented the technology needed to protect the villages and towns. Had they not would not been able develop as people because the buildings would be destroyed. The animals here are exceptionally strong most animals have tusk and use them in a Nitōryū fashion.
Appearance: Ramus is a dark skinned no hair, bald. Brown eyed 5'10 male with lean muscles and two katana at his hips one on either side. Due to a long black and red open coat, closed on his waist by a red sash, in which his swords are now tucked and the thick clothing underneath the swords scabbard cant be seen when standing/walking how ever the hilts are obvious sticking out the frount of his clothes. His boots are black and pants blue
History: Ramus grew up in Guermo country. Given the nature of the island it was protected from most outsiders. But those who came were strong or oblivious to rock rain and normally didn’t say long. Villagers or his parents would often find him outside the cities procted zone just before storms and would have to drag him in because they could not wake him. Ramus admired the swordsmanship teacher; Paku above any other he was so strong and confident. He was able go all over the island unharmed even in the midst of severe storms. However his parents could not afford the swordsmanship training. And even if he could pay for the lessens his body was much too weak to be a swordman. But that didn’t stop him he managed to save up enough money doing chores and bought to raggedy katana that he could barely lift. Day after day he would challenge the kids who paid for lesson. But they would either ignore him or beat him in one strike. Unknown to Ramus Paku would watch him day in and out when he wasn’t teaching. One day came when one of the students couldn’t take Ramus challenges anymore so he decided to beat him so bad that he would never want pick up another sword. When Ramus came to face him he shattered his katana with force strong enough to break bones in his arms. Ramus wept bitterly as the kids left.
In the dark Paku came to him. “Why do weap child?”
“I wanted to be swordsman but he broke my katana.” Ramus said with tears in eyes
“NO You don’t you’re a worthless piece of shit. Can you count the number of grains of dirt. No but that is the number of people who have they want to be a swordsman. Only few have made and are the stars that light the sky.”
Ramus wipes his face. “I do want to be one”
“Do you train, practice, get to know your weapon. No you just swing around metal. There is more to swordsmanship than cutting. There’s not cutting…the breath of life and so much more. You cant even hold a sword up right.”
“Not cutting? Please teach me.”
Paku unsheathes his sword and hits Ramus hard with blade causing he to cry out in pain, but is not cut. “How dare you just cry out teach me.” He begins to walk off. “First train your body. You can start by clearing the pebbles off my field.
When Ramus got to the field it was covered in boulders of various shapes and sizes. But Ramus worked hard at clearing the field often sleeping there he spent every momment he had clearing it and in that time he gained frightening strength. Unbeknown Ramus his skinny fradgile was replaced by lean muscle. Paku came to check on the field one night seeing that he finally done Paku turned of the fields "rain" protecter letting it litter the field with more rocks. The next morning when he got to the field he saw that all his hard work had gone to waste. In a fit of rage he started throwing the boulders in very short time the field was clear save for one more which he had in his hands preparing to launch. Paku shows up in the rocks path.
"Looks at what your holding" Paku
"It boulder, SO WHAT..." Ramus
Ramus hesitates and drops it. <A boulder? but my body is took weak for that!?>
"It seems that in the course of your work didnt realize the you were growing. Thats why never stop pushing the pebbles. And if you can carry these pebbles...Paku
"I can carry a katana. Why do you call them pebbles when they are cleary boulders." Ramus
<He is catching on> "Boulders imply obstacles somthing that is hard to over come. These for me are nothing.
From that day forward Ramus had been excepted as Paku's private student. From time he would offer Ramus private tutelage. Ramus would venture outside the city practicing two sword style with animals. The day came when Paku decided that Ramus had plateued and would longer grow to his goal under him. So he planted one of his own personal swords in Ramus' things. And accused of stealing it the accusisition lead them to fight each other and his deflection from the island. On the ships only dock there (there was marine ship that had paused at the island momentarily. (Whom Paku knew would arriving) In need of ride and food/shelter for that matter he asked could he ride. The ships captain asked if he knew how to chores. He laughed till he cried and told her yes. She accepted him as chore boy. Her, Ramus and the crew sailed all the way to north blue where they had been reassigned after failure in the New world. Ramus speed at doing the chores put the rest of chore boys to shame. While docked on a island taking care of mission on the way to new base there division was attack and it quickly became apparent that he was not ordinary "chore boy" he was better than most of the marines in the division he even saved several from dying. Even though he used swords most of the time he would leave people un cut instead they would often complain of seeing stars. (Like when you hit by strong blunt force) When the fight was over he was offered officer position he accepted as long as he could still chores, cause he saw this as training. The woman laughed saying that how about he teach the other. Ramus acceped and his strength grew along with divison.
The island they were based at was large well known as a "pirates town of choice" The marines and officers over the base were loud, lazy, partying idiots. Who thought its better to let the bounty hunters take care of the problem. Ramus having no intreast in catching or dealing with pirates was not worried with either. He slept and trained most of the time. He would fall asleep all over the base in the middle of the most the worst most places (fireing range, kitchen, meetings, line up, ecetera.) But when it came down to he was realiable and got the job done. But his skills with swordsmanship werent going far compared to where he came from. The commodore that took him eventually took over the facility and she began quickly try and get everyone into shape. When her captain was killed by pirates Ramus was made her captain. Its was a personality changing moment for them both and they were no longer tolerating anything more than sucuss and strict adherence to rules. Everyone had to aquaited the change in Ramus to loss and un top of that more responisbility. But secretly he regreted his knew life.
Personality: Ramus is a very hard worker but still lazy. He gets his work done only to sleep or train. Since becoming captain he can be very rude and has no tack. He will often speak out of turn and question justice to "subordinates". He doesnt tolerate faluire from marines in which case he looses his temper in comical fashion. But he encourages to be everyone to be the best at what they are. Ramus will often to call in various specialist in to teach classes on various weapons and subject matter. Hes a natural leader and despite his lack of tack civillians and marines a like respect him. When fighting a sword wielding apponent he gives of a monsterous killing intent that frightens weaker opponents. (Which is in contrast to his blunt style.) He doesnt see the point in killing non swordsman. As far as pirates go he thinks that to award them with death would be allowing them escape punishment
After a botched rescue attempt of prisonors at a pirates prison. Ramus requested a de-ranking rather than take blame more than needed. He decided to leave his base to and seek re-assigment elsewhere. The unit asked him not saying that it wasn't his fault he was doing what he thought was right and they did not think any less of him. But Ramus didnt change his mind and left

Special Abilities: Strong enough to tose a 1 ton object 20 yards. Can sleep through anything but will wake at the sound of metal. Just under the speed of the avg horse. Incredible endurance. Master Two sword style & blunt stlye (his non cutting sword techniques). proficient one sword style but considers it akward.

Two sword style
Shredding star spins both swords over his head like a fan blade, intend on shredding the descending opponent/objects to pieces. Opponent will see a star shape spinning beneath them
Star tackle he crosses both swords over his chest and slashes with a downward "X" motion instantly slicing anything in front of him. he can do this such as to cut things up at the atomic level, rocks turn to dust... Opponents sees many small starshaped objects in a larger x shape.
Double barrel Red dwarf StarA thrusting technique with two swords that apparently creates two highly compressed blast of air with enough power to burst its way through a thick wall as if fired from a gun. Powerful as it is, it could just as easily be countered by a similar attack. Each takes on the shape of star.
Gatling Red dwarf star A technique in which the user delivers several thrusts against an opponent. Visually, due to the user's speed, it looks as if they are thrusting with several swords. When used a barrage of compressed air bullets are launched at the opponent. In the shape of stars
Blunt style
The user will hold either one or two katana with the blunt side facing down so that when connects it wont cut...
