Name: Josey Sharpe "Strait-Razor"
Age: 27
Bounty: 30,000,000
Species: Human
Occupation: soon-to-be captain
Allegiance: Pirate
Home Village/Ocean: Grandline
Appearance: Josey has a lean figure, standing at six feet one and weighing one hundred sixty one pounds. His arms are three inches longer than natural and his legs are thin, however he has very defined calves. His shoulders are not broad and his biceps are not large. He is in no way muscular, his arms are slender and his fingers are boney. His hands and feet are unnaturally large, his feet dwarf combat boots and his hands are large enough that the spacing in between his knuckles are three centimeters long. His fingers stretch out to disturbing lengths (the longest one being six inches) and his blue veins appear across his hands and wrist. Cloudy purple bruised blotches cover his hands and forearms, stopping at his elbows. His finger nails are neatly trimmed. Across the underside of his feet are multiple gouge wounds, the kind one would recieve from stepping upon shards of glass. His dead, pale skin exudes a ghastly charisma. His face is not a beautiful one, but it has a morbid charm to it. Streaks of grey lightning liven up the otherwise boring greasy black hair and golden shine contrast with the red irritation of his traingular eyes. Black sleep-depravation marks run right under his eyes and a scar runs under his lips. His cheekbones are visible. His lips are cut-up and his teeth are sharp like that of a wild dog. His chin and jawline form a tight angle, making a v with a rounded tip from his mandibles. He dresses in a farely suave manner, with a black suit jacket and a red tie. He dons a grey dress shirt and black slacks. His shoes are simple black dress shoes and he wears white work gloves. On his right hand there is a large spiked knuckler. His belt is a slight bit more over the top than the rest of his outfit, being white with a golden buckle. Resting upon the belt is his scabbard.
History: A silver blade was an object which Josey obsessed over for the first twenty years of his life. It was a family heirloom his father was going to pass onto him, as was the Sharpe family tradition. This silver blade was originally used by his grandfather's great-grandfather. That great man was a trapper named Janus who made a fortune selling animal skins. An empire was built and each of the Sharpe men from their on had their own business venture and with the sizeable funds backing each attempt, they all succeeded. Josey had not decided his purpose unlike his father, and so he worked as a barber in his father's barber shop. His father promised him the silver blade if he continued his empire, and so Josey had found a temporary purpose.
Cutting hair was exciting to Josey. Never before had he been in a position where a man had left himself so open, where he was in complete control and one in one movement he could kill his client. The thrill of his power gave himself a sense of being that he had lacked; however his life changed when his brother had requested a haircut. Unlike Josey, his brother was not a working man. Josey's brother Jupiter was a disgrace in the eyes of their father. Jupiter had turned to petty burglary. There were six murders under Jupiter's belt. Josey was paralyzed by fear. Jupiter never respected Josey; he despised the honest character Josey was. Josey was feverous, his hand shook and he felt sweap drop down his forehead. However, he still offered to cut his brother's hair. It was a mistake. He didn't mean to do it. Josey never meant to kill his brother but his hand slipped and the razor fell into Jupiter's neck. He was called a hero for the deed! Josey had slain his only brother and the act was treated as if it was a good deed! This was a dark moment for Josey. This one mistake was the start of darkness which would lead to his fall to evil.
For the execution of a murderer he was rewarded in a few ways. The first was a statue that glorified him; portraying the young man as a knight in shining armor that with a noble blade. The second gift he was given was a deep purple fruit covered in wavy spirals. The man who presented it to him recognized it as a devil fruit but Josey saw it as nothing but an ornate snack. However, a feast was planned by town elders celebrating the death of a serial killer. He was the guest of honor. Josey finally saw a bright thing coming from his murder. The people of the island were happy, even if it cost him a brother for them to do so, he would not take that from them. He agreed to arrive at the feast and ate the fruit in public.
Josey Sharpe despised the people. He learned of their dark sides. The people of the island were snivelling, superstitious, cowardous bilge rats who deserved abuse or exploitation. He had seen their true faces and as he spoke out against them they grew to fear him. The people were vile and were going on a downward spiral. The only way to save them was a change in administration so he stepped into politics. He was to be the mayor of the chief economic town and then he would take over the island state. The plan was brilliant! He could improve the economy, increase the size of his reputation as a hero, and destroy the tyranny the people were subjected to. The current generation may have been doomed but he could save the rest and the people would love him for it. However, as time went on he became less and less a pillar of moral superiority; his shining armour soured and his goals became more and more selfish. He plotted during the day and trained his powers in the night. His devil ability had been developed into a weapon of murder with a slight addition. To build up funds for his election campaign he was a mercenary. After months of saving he recognized that his plan would take to long and he desired the power now!
Josey Sharpe instead led a military coup with an army of one. His flying blade technique carved through the few marines stationed in town and there was only one deed he needed to do. He entered the Mayor's mansion and slashed him into many pieces. He took the position as town tyrant but this dream would end in a week. One civillian decided to stand up to Josey Sharpe. He was scarred for his arrogance but Josey decided to spare him. Josey had not broken the man even if he had marred his flesh. This mere peasant stole a mounted silver blade that Josey had valued and fleed to the marine base on the east side of the island. His revenge would be to burn the town to the ground. Everyone in the town perished except for the one civillian who dared resist him. The marines were coming soon and he fleed from the island. His desistination was a pirate port from where he would build up a crew of devilish rogues who wished to kill, maim, and steal.
Personality: Josey Sharpe is quite the wild man when thinking emotionally. He has the tendency to kill when irritated and has a hair-trigger temper. On the flipside he almost never gets angrier than "irritated". He is quite the loyal person, and is rather intelligent when his emotional brain is not in charge. He is easily amused and quickly bored. Due to his "wildcard" nature, many fear him and have a natural distrust. However, he is quite charismatic and has a far more impressive side to him. His favorite hobby is poetry and his favorite color is red. He is a silver-tongued devil if ever there was one. He refuses to drink, hates signing things, does not like to touch people, and is easily angered by insults.

Special Abilities: skilled in "flying blade" style (the user has a razer connected to thread he has created with his df allowing him to attack enemies at long range with high speed), skilled in swordplay, and fistfighting
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25)
Flying Blade techniques: "Lash"- Josey fires the linked razor toward the enemy in a strait line. The danger of this strike is in its speed, and the fact that it is continued with a horizontal thrashing toward the enemy. This can wound a soldier, but does not deal deathblows to the strong.
"Pincer"- Josey blasts two linked razors toward his opponent. One of these razor lines heads to his left and the other to his right before reaching the proper point at which the two close the distance and change their direction. This creates a point of convergence on the enemy. After the first strike the pincer attack turns into two lashes, finishing off an opponent who was wounded by slashes at keypoints.
"Open"- This is quite possibly, one of the most disgusting of Josey's techniques. Two threads with attached razors head across the bottom of the ground at high speeds. Once they have reached the opponent the blades make a sharp ninety degree and go upwards across the opponent's body. This move evades a typical block and is named as such because it has a tendency of "opening" a person.
"Sweep"- A thread rushes toward the opponent, focusing on the back of his leg. It flies past the oponent, makes a quick round turn and slashes their achilles' tendon. After the strike the thread pulls past, tugging on the oponent's weakened leg. This technique downs an opponent, and a downed opponent is a doomed opponent.
"Streak"-The thread shoots forward but does not target the oponent at first. It changes its flight path after a point and breaks right or left, heading toward the opponent's neck. This attack will severe the major vein or the blade can jerk up and lodge into the opponent's chin.
"Pierce"-Similar to lash, however the attack does not go for a simple cut, instead using the speed from the thread to directly pierce the opponent with the razor. This strike focuses on either the head or the mid of the chest. after the blade is lodged into something, the thread has no control over it.
"Incapacitate"- The blade this time targets the opponent's arms. Two of the blades are used in this strike; they charge toward the oponent and slice across the biceps down their forearms and finishing with a slash at the wrist.
"Raze"- The blade charges in zigzags and wild line changes, creating an unpredictable flight path. The blade slashes the opponent once, and then continues before changing directions to strike again. If the attack is not stopped, it leaves the opponent covered in the thread.
"Disperse"- Three threads and three blades fly together. As the threads reach the general area of their target their disperse. One of the blades continues forward, however another goes diagonally upwards and the last goes diagonally downwards. This ends with three stab wounds, a foot of distance in between them.
"Rain"- Thirty threads grab thirty razors and raise them into the sky. The threads lead them above the oponnent, and let gravity do the rest of the work. While this attack would seem dramatic it is mostly a distraction as it is over the top and has a low success rate.
Other techniques
"Shield"- the thread knits together forming a shield. It can only be used as a stationary object but can be used to block sword strikes or bullets.
"Pull"- the thread forms into a grappling hook. Once it has wrapped around an object it shortens its length, pulling the user to the object or the object to the user (this happens at much slower speeds then the flying blade techniques)
"Net"- the thread forms into a net. It is either thrown or placed to capture an enemy, and cannot be broken easily.
