Serious: Crisis in the biggest crew! The Anubis Pirates split up?! (open to Anubis Pirates and Jaeger (NPC) )

"It's good, it's good," Pierson said, flexing his fingers. One of the Anubis loyalists at a camp on the outskirts of the fighting, a terrified look in his eyes, let out a final scream as he was impaled by his own floating sword. The men around him stared in terror at the man in the neat, tidy brown suit. He was a short man, fat, bald and with a round face that shone in the firelight with the worst kind of sweat and grease. His eyes were hidden entirely from sight by the reflective, round lenses of his spectacles.

Running a beefy finger through his similarly greasy, short black hair, Pierson looked around at the remainder. He held his hands up, an ugly flat smile taking his fat ugly face.

"You men can choose how you want to die, dears. Like that fellow there, or in the field of battle. If you turn soon enough, you might even claim that you were confused, and didn't know who to attack in the madness. Your Anubis-sama might even spare a few of you."

"They'll never take," a second man stated, stepping out into the light. He had sharp oriental features, an old wizened face. His eyes barely seemed open, slits in his yellow, wrinkled face. He wore a yellow suit of similarly oriental nature, a gold-thread male's hanbok that hid everything but his face and hands. Stray strands of limp, white hair hung from the sides of the man's head, as did the tails of a long fumanchu moustache on the man's face. "Betray us as soon as the fighting starts."

"Don't be so gloomy, Lu-san," a third man piped up. "Men do all kindsa stupid stuff when they're all frightened up." The third was dark-skinned, his eyes completely white, seeming to lack any pupils or irises. He wore a chain of massive orange prayer beads around his neck, loose orange shorts, and a pair of wooden sandals. There was little other adornment to his massive, muscled frame save for a set of tribal tattoos that covered his entire back and ran down along the outsides of each arm, stopping just before his hands.

"Just so, Kinty," the first one said. "Let's give them a try."

"Who said anything about us working for you to begin with!?" one of the cornered pirates shouted. "We'd just as soon die here before we betrayed Anubis-sa-"

The man's words were cut off by a blade, which rude interrupted his sentence by severing his head from his neck. A rough looking pirate kicked aside the head, spitting down at it in disgust.

"Rather die on my feet than on my knees," he said, shooting a hateful look at the three men. "I'll fight your damn war for you, sure. Just watch your own damn backs when it's over."

"Dear, dear," Pierson said, wringing his pudgy hands. "Dear me what dreadful sorts..."

"It's bad news," Lu stated, shaking his head. "We should be killing them."

"Jaeger's got it all figured out," Kin reminded the other two. "Right now, causing chaos and distrust is a lot more important than outright killing them. Anyways, we got a job to do. We're legion heads. If we can't handle this shit, we don't got a place in the future emperor's crew."

On the outskirts of Anubis' battle with Calico, a familiar yellow-grew mongrel stalked about the bushes, slavering and testing the air at intervals. As soon as the emperor was alone, he'd move in. His blood-red teeth were bared in the early twilight, ready to carve a future in the new world from human flesh.

Meanwhile, thousands of rats began to scurry wildly through the battlefields, all over the islands, swarming and devouring the fallen and generally being a giant creepy nuisance to everybody else.

((OOC - The legion heads are mostly there to help keep everyone occupied. Pierson is a fat, weak coward with [Insert viable DF here], who uses people's own weapons against them and tries to control the movement of opponents. Lu is a master martial artist who strikes at pressure points to cripple opponents and cause large amounts of pain with little force, and uses the Encore Encore Fruit to make people repeat their last actions to keep them off guard. Kin is a brute who uses Mera Mera powers in combination with a wrestling/grappling style of martial arts to 'break and bake' his opponents. Pair them up against whoever you think they'd be a good match for until Anubis is alone.

Also at your disposal are a few dozen "Reavers", Jaeger's personal corsair escorts. They're berserker-type pirates who fight with greatswords and brutally attack everyone until nothing is left standing or they're dead.

Basically, use or disregard the other NPCs just to set the scene. I'm just seeing a ton of ya'll and your manz are all really strong, so I'm trying to set up some decent fights. If you don't feel like the story needs 'em, just disregard.))

while flinthow was running around his ship looking for a suitible hiding place as the kick hit the door luckily the door a few splinters and a dent not much

Knight then caught Vala by the neck "Look, stop being a f**king moron, Manus san, we have bigger problems than just this guy, ignore him for now, we need to get to the main camp!!! and you, whatever your name is, if you be quiet and follow us Anubis sama might grant you your wish whatever it is, but you need to stop fooling around and help us out!!! you understand?" Knight had his gun at Valas chest in case he refused. They had to get back to the main camp somehow.

Anubis hadnt moved an inch. Calico couldn't get forward, his hands not reaching Anubis who was dominating this fight. Calico was panting, "Sh*t your good...... damn it Anubis, you havent lost your fatigue after all this while ....." Anubis's shook his head "I trained in secret everyday since i recovered from my injury, with this sword that was given to me as well.. Im still not a good swordsman, but i can at least swing it around, nothing is gained without patience, sweat and blood Calico, you are not ever close to shedding the amount of blood i have shed in my life...." Calico then cursed "Enough Anubis, words mean nothing here.. ill just crush you with a unnbeatable power..."

Suddenly Calico turned into a phoenix and charged at Anubis in a blue blaze of fire. His talons heading straight for Anubis. Anubis didnt move "Oh is that all? Pathetic, i have faced a man who uses that far better than you do....." Anubis extended his hands, and from the ground below giant tentacles of sand whipped up to grab and hold Calico in place. Anubis then clenched his hand "Sarcophagus coffin...." The sand covered Calico who couldnt get free, even in his pheonix form. He was struggling "DAMN HOW?????" Anubis said nothing, the men who followed Calico stopped as Anubis walked by, his hand clenched "Its simple worm.... you lacked the faith to follow me, so now you die...." Anubis smashed his clenched hand into te ground, finally sending Calico to his doom, crushing his body which could not regenerate fast enough. Anubis closed his eyes, partially in regret and partially in solitude. Yet the yonkou didnt say anything. Calicos men were split , some asking for forgiveness , the others asking to be punished "Forgive us ANUBIS SAMA!!! WE WERE WRONG TO DOUBT YOU!!" "Just kill us Anubis sama... we betrayed you to follow our captain... we dont deserve to be in your crew....." Anubis walked past them and then sent sand blades towards the ones who begged for forgiveness cutting them all down. Blood soaking the battlefield which belonged to Anubis now. he turned to the ones who seeked punishment "Your punishment, will be to serve me till death... you are all sworn to me by oath from now .... you will serve me and me only, i cannot punish those who truly regret, but i did punish weaklings who hide behind their cloak of feigned innocence...." The men were in tears as they lifted their blades to the sky "HAILLL ANUBIS SAMA!!!!!!!" Anubis then said "Return to main camp for instructions... i cannot risk any of you falling to whoever is behind this" The men were about to protest when Anubis yelled "DO AS I COMMAND!!!!" The men did not argue, they pulled back to the main camp, leaving yonkou Anubis to fight on his own. Anubis did not look back at the grave he gave Calico, he would rather not. He had always said, his path was paved in blood. Now it was literal.

Meanwhile Tanith was urging Ryan "We should move forth Ryan, ANUBIS SAMA is already moving, cmon!!!!!"

Lucas followed behind Solar "ummmmm, do you need my help Uncle Solar? I guess not huh? Your already plenty strong" Lucas then saw Solars attack deflected and his eyes widen "NO WAY, KOU AND KEN ARE TOO STRONGGGGG" Lucas wanted to hide, but there was no place to go here. Plus , he could not disobey Anubis samas orders. Lucas then saw rats coming, Lucas hated rats , but he was not afraid of them. "WAX ZONE!!!" He sent a surge of wax across the ground solidifying and killing the rats nearby. The very least he could do.

As Anubis moved foward, he saw rats and then sighed "GET OUT OF MY WAY VERMIN!!!" He sliced the ground with his blood hungry sword which was emitting a bloody aura, of a blade that was thirsting for blood. No rat dared come near Anubis, they were all afraid and ran for their lives. Anubis didnt blame them, if he was that weak, he would be scared too.

flinthow knew that he was in trouble so he said "ok ok cant a someone have fun these days fine ill follow you" flinthow was going to be shot if he refussed so there was no point testing them because they were pissed off.

As the battle begins, Maxulus takes a look around and he sees Dino , his assistant , coming towards him. He could not understand what was going on. Dino and the masked man seemed to talk like they knew each other and they had planned this from the very begining. With a surprised face he asks them "What is going on?!"

The man with the mask does not respond. He looks at Dino. He asks "What shall I do sir? Shall I eliminate him?" Maxulus loses his temper quickly. He never lost his temper so fast before. He says "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" as Dino says "Eliminate him. I want you to take care every one of his body parts. I do not want to see even his finger." he smirks for a second and he continues talking "Maxulus...from the very first moment , I had this planned! Can you understand how it is to be an assistant? I am smart! I am not somebody to do the chores of the others! Unlike you , I possess great intelligence! I can remember everything that happened around me and do as I like. I have never forgot a thing since the moment I was created! I never forgot anything since you MADE me work as your assistant and called yourself the genius who managed to give life to a dead body!!!" Maxulus looks at the ground thinking the words of Dino. He cared for Dino like he was his little brother and he felt the betrayal with these words. However , there was something else that made him even more worried. What if Maximus felt the same way?

The man with the mask says "Enough. He knows way too much now." and he rushes forward towards Maxulus. He begins kicking him quickly. The kicks were very powerful and even Maxulus could not understand their pattern. He could not understand how they were performed. He never got to fight somebody with such raw strength before. He crosses his arms as the kicks land on them and he says "Multibrella: Cutman Mode!" as he merges with his Multibrellas and they turn into blades. The enemy though keeps kicking him endlessly. He seemed undamaged even from kicking steel. The 4th Division Commander never got to face such an enemy before. When he got to battle against Shichibukai Shadow , Sir. Zero and Commodore Coal he could easily understand the source of their power. However , this time things were different. He watched at the kicks but he could not understand anything. Did that power come from a Devil Fruit or not?
Watching that his defense did not work , he quickly dodges a kick. He takes a look at his severely injured arms. They were already damaged. He says "Wow...You are so strong... Amazing. Did your power come from a Devil Fruit or not?" The enemy laughed. He said "Do you really want to know? I am just strong. Nothing else." The inventor froze for a while. The enemy was very tough and he did not know how to confront him. After some seconds he says "Enough talk!!!" and he summons his Multibrellas around him , forming a triangle. He shouts "Multibrella Sword Rampage!!!" and he sends the three weapons towards his enemy in order to slash him...

The man with the mask laughs as he looks at the weapons coming towards him and he lets them hit him. Much to Maxulus' surprise he was unaffected... It was like the umbrellas got stuck on his body and could not move...He says "You are a smart man Maxulus. I believe you got it by know...". Then , he moves forward and strikes with his left fist the pirate in the face , sending him a couple of meters backwards. Maxulus was lost deep in his thoughts... He had made a guess about the true identity of the masked man. Then , he feels another punch hitting him at the stomach. It kept hurting more and more. The punches of his enemy were very strong... and what hurt much more was that they were not punches from a common enemy... They were punches of betrayal... Because Maxulus had realised that the man he was facing right now was none other than Maximus.

"Fight if you wish, Lucas." Solar simply answered as he turned around and sprinted, immediately pulling out the big guns. This wasn't a fight he could half-ass. "Chain Gating Solars!" Solar seemingly split into three wavering images that advanced, flicking in and out of sight, covering immense amounts of ground. His rapid chainwork caused his apparitions to look more like flashes of light than an actual person, and this he used well. He aimed each one to blind the pair, and suddenly burst past them, slashing at their faces.

Ryan was now more angrier than he had ever been to think of so many commanders and crew members would turn against Anubis without looking behind him Ryan spoke " Tanith my heart is not as kind as Anubis, I don't plan on taking pity on anyone nor do I intend to take prisoners. If you feel you can't fight your old friends and allies please go and join Anubis" As Ryan spoke a two dozen men came in front of him and knelt before Ryan and Tanith they were from the First and Second division the only people Ryan could trust at this time " We've managed to secure the main camp and save a few of our ships we have members from both the First and Second Division's standing guard" Ryan nodded " Good all you men will provide backup for me and Tanith while we continue to secure the island

Manus gave a sharp intake of breath. "Crap, what's happening??? I'll go first... be careful with this guy... I don't know what he can do." He jumped out and left the ship, using Glide to return to the main camp, and was horrified by what he saw. Battles raging everywhere. It was like... the biggest site of carnage he had seen in his life. Looking around, he decided that Maxulus was the one who needed the most help. He dropped down beside Maxulus. "C'mon, mate. I can tell you wouldn't do this." He got ready to obliterate Maxulus' wayward experiments.

Maxulus coughs blood as he gets hit by the cyborg with another punch at the stomach. He could not believe what was going on. Maximus would never betray him unless something else happened. He could not understand the meaning of the whole thing. Maximus was a loyal cyborg he created that never showed any bad emotions against him. How could he turn so suddenly into an enemy like that? Was he just a failure in experiments or did Dino interfere with him?

On the other side , though , he decided to not let the situation go like that. He was the one to create Maximus and give him his Devil Fruit , so he could make a guess about the techniques he was about to use later. He had a plan to beat him , but he had to be very careful.

After a while , he gets up and escapes the attack of the cyborg , although he took a couple of damage. He took a look at Manus who was around him. He said "Manus , there is no need to interfere. Just cover me from the rest of the traitors and I will deal with them. After all , this is just a 'family' matter..."

"Mook removal squad, on its way." Manus gave Maxulus a thumbs up before grasping the knife wounds from Flinthow. "I might needa get outta here before I finish, though." He set to work removing the mooks.

In ryans path was one person, it was Anna , she was in the sky, the funny thing was she was alone "Forgive me Ryan dono.... i have my reasons for doing this... but you cannot pass" She sent three kunai to the front to set a line from where they could enter.

Tanith then roared "ANNAAAAAAA, how dare you betray us!!!!" Tanith ran foward to blow Anna away with her powerful strike. She smashed her fist at where Anna stood to create a mini explosion and a crater. Anna was flying in the air with her wings out "Tanith dono..... i do not expect your forgiveness..."

Meanwhile, Ken who was sitting just held his hand up "Metal is bound to come, this man uses his chains to win the battle, dont let your guard down KOU!!!" Ken then holds his hand up and says "Repel....." Kou then held his diamond hand up to block the attacks, but there was a cut on his chest. Ken then got up "I knew it, i cant fight him with no resolve...."

Maxulus takes a good look at Manus who was thumbing up to him. However , right before he could say anything he was hit by another punch and was knocked backwards , when suddenly his three multibrellas appear and merge with his body. He moves his left hand towards his face and he cleans it from the great amounts of blood he had lost. The damage he received was great , but he did not care at all. Now that he understood that Maximus was serious , he would not let him escape... His fate was already marked: Death.

The 4th division commander says "Come on. Is that all you got?" as Maximus quickly moves towards him and strikes him with a punch. However , he did not began bleeding like before. It looked like Maxulus took some damage , but he did not take as much as before. The cyborg could not understand what he had done. However , he would still go on punching him. Maxulus takes the hits one by one , without even bothering dodging. It looked like he had a plan in his mind , but Maximus could not understand it.

The cyborg got angry and said "Time to end this battle... Gamu-Gamu Room!" as the two of them are trapped in a room of chewing gum...

((Alright guys, I don't post as regularly as you lot because I only have a few minutes in the morning after work, and if I'm lucky in the evening before it, to post. These dudes are all unrefined NPCs just here to fill out the body count on the baddy side and give everyone something to do, so feel free to control them yourselves if I'm being too slow, or just if you feel like moving your manz along.))

Some ways outside the light of the campfire where the high-powered devil fruit duo of Ken and Kou fought Solar, a pudgy man in a brown suit watched intently. The fat, greased fingers of one hand slide through his wavy, similarly greasy hair, perspiration forming on his face.

"Deary me, even those two are having trouble..."

Fighting on the front lines was simply not an option for Pierson. If those two fell there'd be nothing left between him and a Division Commander. This wasn't an acceptable outcome; even a Legion Head would be in danger if the environment wasn't just right.

"You boys mind this battle," Pierson called out to the treacherous duo. "Jaeger-taichou is counting on you. A Legion a piece, at your command, should you - after you win!"

In a blink, his message delivered, Pierson seemed to flicker from sight. A tiny trail of dust leading back towards the enemy's end of the island was the only remaining proof he'd ever been there.

"Young Maxulus is right," a yellowed oriental man in a gold silk hanbok stated, nodding his wizened old head. "This is not a fight for you."

Standing with his hands behind his back, feet spread, the old man nodded in mock-formality towards Manus.

"Why don't you waste some of that reckless energy of yours on me, young commander?"

As Ryan ran along, resolved not to show a scrap of mercy on the traitors, something lit up the darkening sky above, rapidly growing as it sped towards the ground. Slamming into the path infront of him with the force of a meteor, a shower of smouldering dirt and earth were thrown into the air. The very soil beneath his wooden sandals burning, a man of dark skin walked from the crater. About his neck was a string of massive orange prayer beads, lengthy, loose shorts of similar colour being the only clothing on his large, muscular form. His skin was nearly dark as the night around him, but his eyes were the colour of fire.

"Just you leave the fighting to your men, jya hah..." the great, dark-skinned behemoth stated, his voice deep and resonant. "Or rather, to Jaeger-dono's men, as they are now...!"

There was a great squeeling of indignant rats as they fled in panic from the flaming crater. Crossing his massive arms, Kin stood defiantly before the mighty swordsman.

No sooner than Anubis had slain the vernimous horde did he find himself face to face with a dozen men, faces hidden behind round metal masks covered in dozens of small holes, with long, ragged hair and nothing but crimson kilts, iron bracers, and iron boots on their bodies. They all held massive weapons, all different; battle axes, greatswords, mauls, affixed to their left or right bracer by a chain three-foot length of chain. They gave off the vibe of being no ordinary pirates.

"For the Mongrel!" the man in the lead cried, raising his massive hammer to the air and letting out a roar. The rest raised their own weapons in answer, deep roars booming from their own hidden mouths, before the lot charged Anubis in sequence, rushing at him in waves of three.

Sitting on his haunches, the yellow-grey mangy dog tilted it's head and watched the ensuing battle with eager curiosity.

Ryan stopped and stood still as the dirt covered his body when the smoke cleared Ryan saw the massive man standing before him " You have picked the wrong commander to come and attack I don't plan on keeping you alive so I can get information I'm going to kill you and enjoy myself why I'm doing it" Ryan then slowly begins walking towards the man and held up his left hand and pointed it towards the man " Spring Shot" Ryan's arm turned into a spring and it launched a poweful punch towards the huge man..

Sam looked around for awhile and observed the fights that were going around him carefully. It was pretty obvious that his commander was not going to need any serious help since he was strong enough to handle his own instead he looked at the flying traitor. Surely, there were a lot of pathetic traitors, and Sam was not going to spar any of them. They were all dishonorable fools who deserved death.

Quickly Sam once again used his spring fruit powers to launch himself in the air toward Anna and slashed both of his swords at her wings aiming to rip them apart.

"Talk talk talk..." Kin said, speaking over Ryan as he announced his murderous intent. As the strike fired towards him, the towering man swung a hand out to the side, a blast of fire roaring outwards from his palm, disintegrating a stretch of shrubs and a few dozen rats. The force pushed him to the side, just out of harms reach.

"Seems your hands are as quick as your mouth is slow," Kin observed, a thin red line on his ribs where he'd narrowly avoided the blade. Even as he spoke he leapt forward, one of his legs kicked out behind him, another jet of fire sending him speeding towards Ryan at breakneck speeds. The extended arm burst into flames as it rushed towards the swordsman's chest.

"Inferno Tendedero!"

Anubis then saw the brutish men charging at him, these ones were more like savage beasts than men. Anubis was intrigued by this , he could use people like this in his crew, he would try and tame these savages. First however he needed to show power first, he moved his hands,and pulled back in order to dodge the slashes coming towards him from the reavers, a sand wall appears to block the attacks, but they were not too sturdy because they were ad hoc walls.

AS he moved with fluency , dodging the enemies who were roaring, he then spinned and grabbed hold of one of the reavers necks. Immediately the reaver he held on to, turned into dust having all the fluid absorbed from him. Anubis then stood up as the dust floated in the wind "You will all learn to fear and respect me......"

Anna threw her weight foward and dodges Sams attacks. "Sam dono.... i see, you are upset too...... it is fine, i have my reasons and methods.... you will see....."

Solar was still in full motion, and turned, slowing down visibly, but still moving at inhumane speeds. He circled them, sending a disc of light to slash them both. He would win this yet.

Ryan quickly turns his legs into springs and launched himself towards the man a great speed also leaving a small crater where he once stood holding his sword out ready to deliver and power slash to collide with the mans punch..

Maximus smiles as he creates the room between himself and his creator. Maxulus began crying because of his anger. Since he joined the crew his personality had changed. He was not a cruel person anymore and he was showing his feelings about his crewmates frequently. He could not understand why he was betrayed , though. He was not behaving to Maximus like he was a test rat. He treated him like he was an equal and that was the way he thanked him. He revolted against his own creator with the first chance. He asks while shouting "WHY?! WHY DID YOU DO THAT MAXIMUS?! WHY WOULD YOU EVER WANT TO KILL ME?!"

The cyborg did not respond. He did not like losing his time and so he rushed forward in order to strike Maxulus with a punch and he did so. Maxulus did not take much damage but he still took. Maximus' strength was boosted in the Gamu-Gamu Room... In ten seconds , the cyborg what already performed half of his attacks to Maxulus. He launched him a lot of boulders and he trapped him in the Gamu-Gamu Trap. It looked like everything was over for the fourth division commander. He said "I did not want to end it like this , brother... I am sorry." as he began using his Gamu-Gamu Fill. Chewing gum appeared and would fill the room quickly. Maxulus could barely speak for a minute before the room would be filled. He said "Hmph... Brother? Do you still call me a brother? I guess you are mistaken. From the moment you dared to betray me you turned into nothing more than a simple piece of trash...as you will right now." Then , he began crying even more and he said "Goodbye Maximus! I am sorry but it was your own choice! Explosion!" as he began using the explosion technique. As there was the chewing gum around him , it would hold the explosion and prevent damaging the place out of it. The cyborg moved his hands down. He knew the explosion technique but he could not understand. He knew that it was causing double the damage to Maxulus than it would normally cause.

Dino , who was watching the battle from outside , laughed as Maximus made their creator use his strongest technique that would definetely kill him as he had received much damage... However , he watched at the big explosion that occured inside the room... It was an explosion he had never seen before. It was really strong. He laughed , though. He was pretty sure that no matter what Maximus' condition was , Maxulus would be killed...

Then , after a minute the explosion stops. Dino moved towards the room to congratulate Maximus. There was a lot of smog around , though. The chewing gum that made the room was destroyed and nothing could be seen. It was night , too and that made things even more difficult...

Suddenly , a voice was heard. He said "Hmph. I did not want to do it Maximus... You wanted me to... You were not happy at all living as a cyborg , after all...". As the smoke cleared off , Dino saw who was the one that was talking. It was Maxulus , who was in a perfect condition and he was talking at the remaining parts of Maximus' body. The dinosaur cyborg began shouting "HOW?! HOW DID YOU SURVIVE THAT?! YOU WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO SO!". Maxulus sighed. He said "Did you really expect that I would not use the last upgrade in my weapon? I gave it Impact Dial abilities and I was merged with an Impact Dial Mode Multibrella and two Gun Mode Multibrelllas... Instead , I absorbed the damage and turned it into strength. And you know something? Normally if I am fused with an Impact Dial Multibrella , I take some damage. However , as the explosion was coming from inside , the damage was absorbed before it hit any important body parts. The damage I received was a few...if I received any damage." Then , the pirate moved towards the cyborg. He grabbed him from the head with his left hand and he placed the right hand at Dino's chest. He asked "How did you convince Maximus to do that?! Tell me!". Dino laughed. He said "You just trusted me too much...So I reprogrammed him to obey me instead! Otherwise , that stupid cyborg would be still following you!". Maxulus smiled. It was not Maximus' fault after all. Dino was the one to do it. He said "That's good to hear... I will stop crying I guess. It was my fault all of this. I should not have trusted you like you were a son of me... Now , time to die. Explosion...Aftermath.". Dino deeply opened his eyes as he listened to the scientist's words. He was about to kill him without hesitating. He was willing to correct the mistake of the past... While the attack was about to be performed he heard "I would normally slowly unleash this attack as a power boost. You deserve to die with one shot , though so that you will feel the ultimate pain!". Dino screamed after he heard that and something was heard a little bit... Suddenly , the only thing that remained on Maxulus' left hand was half of the head of Dino... The rest of the body was probably destroyed with the attack or was blown away... Maxulus had solved his family matters...

Manus gritted his teeth, pained and ready to unleash a crapload of pain on this guy. "Sounds fine to me, buddy." He shot at the guy, aiming a kick at his legs.

If the Reavers knew fear at all, they knew even better how to master it. The death of the first only seemed to strengthen the others, who plowed through the sand-walls as if they were paper and came at Anubis with a speed and ferocity that was even greater than their last onslaught. The primal roars echoing amongst the remaining eleven, whether communication or intimidation, grew in strength and furor.

Each swing seemed to come with greater power than the last, their movements speeding up with each hit any one of them took. Their scar-covered, tan flesh began to turn dark red with exertion, sweat running from them in rivers. They were man programmed to push beyond the boundaries of human endurance, to destroy their own bodies in order to destroy their enemy; berserkers. If one died, the rest only grew stronger. If one was injured, he only grew stronger. Soon, their speed and power would be on a completely different level from a pirate goon, threatening even to a division commander.

The yellow-grey mongrel watched, still sitting quietly on it's haunches, as his personal escort began to swing into full motion. They were men that did not stop fighting until they were dead or their opponents were; he was interested in seeing how the Yonkou would deal with them.

The flaming brute saw the division commander spring forward at him, sword held ready for a high-speed slash. With the speeds the two of them were approaching eachother at, there was nothing left for him to do but meet the assault head on.

"Tekkai!"

Ryan's sword slammed into the iron-hard, blazing-hot flesh of Kin's arm. A deafening clash rang out over the battlefield, the ground beneath them bending away under the force of the impact. A moment later a massive fireball erupted outwards around Kin for about three meters, and the two were sailing past eachother, each exiting one side of the inferno.

Turning back to his opponent, Kin raised his other fist. There was a dark and angry smile on his face, and his eyes practically lit the night, burning white hot with the intensity of his bloodlust. His left arm, from the elbow down, lay burning somewhere out in the scrub.

"So you cut right through my Tekkai after all...but this only makes it more interesting. Hiyaaa!" A rope of burning spheres of fire, looking very much like his prayer beads but longer, formed from his remaining hand. Letting out a deep and feral laugh, Kin whipped it through the air, the chain growing longer as it sailed in a sweeping horizontal arc towards Ryan.

Lu nodded his approval at Manus' agreement, his legs lifting up off the ground without his upper body so much as moving an inch. His legs set back down with the weightless grace of a feather once the kick had passed. Smiling through his wrinkles at his opponent, the old oriental man stood and waited for the next attack.

"Surely an Anubis Division Commander has a little more energy than that?"

Ryan landed with the blood dripping from the edge of the swords as he held it down, his shirt and suit jacket was now completely burned off his body revealing a huge scare coming down from his neck to the bottom of his stomach and on his back was the huge tattoo of the Anubis symbol on his back, Ryan turns around with an angry look on his face as he turns around he sees the attack coming towards him Ryan then holds his sword up and raises it in the air and it begins to glow red he then turns his arm into a springs and sends it strait up in the air and comes down with a powerful slash sending a gigantic flaming air blade towards the man " Flaming Rage!!"
