Serious: The Aurora Pirates Part 6: The Grand Line

Amari blinked and let him pull her along, too tired to argue, Sukai stayed on her shoulder watching to see fi the man would come out of the ground spikes.

Remus's head popped out of the spikes. He was standing in a perfect split, balancing himself between two of the spikes. He frowned, seeing Amari getting away, apparently being carried by...something. The Marine looked around for the injured devil fruit user, but he had disappeared. Furious, Remus dove off of the spikes and landed near his partner, now watching him fight with an uninterested looked on his face.

The Marines all spun around to attack James, each of them drawing a weapon to slash or fire at him with, but James disappeared again. The Marines all searched for him and saw him standing behind them. James was holding Crimson Rain back, pointing the sword at his enemies.

"Ittoryu: Bolt!" James dashed forward in a zig-zag pattern, moving quickly through his opponents and cutting each one as he passed. The Marines all collapsed behind him and James sheathed his sword. He turned back to the main fight to see that one of the pirates, the girl, had vanished. Her opponent was now watching the other fight, but the expression on his face told James that he was very angry about something.

Kanhoji reappeared at a far away from the battle, but not to far, for he still wants to see how this story ends.
"Hey Amari, I found us a spot to watch the show." Kanhoji said, grinning, and by show, he meant the people remaining to fight. As if he didn't notice James D. Cook there. And the other, Hiroshi, he already knew of the former. He was excited to write down new informations about them for his book and gave Amari a pleaded look so that they could go and watch it.

Amari looked away from his look and just sat beside him as her wounds began to numb. She closes her eyes and sighs then opens them again to watch the fight.
Sukai perches on her shoulder and chirps absently as he watches carefully.

Kanhoji grinned at her nonchalant reaction and watched the battle too, bring out a bag of popcorn and a bottle full of herbal tea. He also gave some to his sister as he peered out towards the fight, making sure not to be seen.

Amari drank her tea thirstly as Sukai peered down curiously at the bag of popcorn, he took a piece and nibbled on it thoughtfully and it wasn't long till he plunged for the bag and began to eat most of it right away.
Amari glances to Sukai and tilts her head.
"Now who does that remind me of?"
She gives a side-way glance to Kanhoji pointedly before drinking more of the tea, completely dehyrdated.

Hiroshi held is sword up barley able to keep up the impact from the man knocked him back a few feet " Crap this isn't gonna be easy" Hiroshi quickly reclaimed his balance and looked at the guy " So is there a way we can simple talk this out" Hiroshi had the huge sword over his shoulder and a big grin on his face knowing what the mans answer will be

Harry shrugged. "Not really," he said. "You attacked my partner, a fellow Marine. If I wasn't fighting you, then someone else would have to." As he was speaking, Harry took a step back and raised his guan dao until it was pointed directly at Hiroshi's chest from about half a foot away. "Black Whirlwind!" He spun his weapon rapidly, whipping up the dust from the ground and disappearing in a cloud of flying dirt. A moment later, it cleared and Harry had vanished. Now behind Hiroshi, Harry leaped at his opponent, bringing his guan dao from the side in a slicing arc, aiming to bisect Hiroshi.

Hiroshi sighed and was about to attack until Harry attacked first the dust made Hiroshi lose track of Harry for a moment and when he saw Harry again it was to late blood squirted from his chest Hiroshi managed to dodge the blunt of the attack at the last second and got a deep cut instead of a major injury * Dammit This guys speed is on another different level then my own* Hiroshi looked down and realized he had blood on his white doctors coat "Dammit man do you know how hard it is to get blood out of this coat" Hiroshi raised the sword in the air holding it with both hands this time, he winced in pain from the cut on his chest but he had to ignore it" Terror Strike" Nick launched himself towards Harry and came down with a powerful sword attack.

Harry simply raised his guan dao to block the attack, but knees buckled slightly under the pressure, almost forcing him down. Harry was surprised by this and he leaped back, putting some distance between him and his opponent.

"He has this much power..." Harry wondered. "...and I'm using in my hybrid form!" The fur at the nape of his neck stood up. He was unsettled by this new development. "Someone like this...if only he had not attacked my comrade...I cannot allow him to live any longer!" Harry shot forward so fast he became a black blur. "Black Hail!" He thrust forward repeatedly with his guan dao, sending in dozens of strikes at high speed at Hiroshi.

James let out a low whistle as he watched the fight. "That guy didn't tell me he was a good swordsman," James muttered. "Maybe I should reconsider letting him join my crew." James reached for his other sword, but then stopped. "I could help him," he said, thinking out loud. "But if he dies here in this fight, then he's not worth much to me."

Hiroshi's eyes widen when his attacked missed he knew if he could lay one quick attack in on this guy he had a great chance of winning this fight when Harry came towards Hiroshi, Hiroshi slammed his sword into the ground knocking up dust and small bits of rock hopping to slow the man down he then jumps back and swung his sword "Air Shaker" a giant black air black went launching threw the dust towards Harry...

Harry followed Hiroshi, continuing to stab at him rapidly. Even when Hiroshi preformed his air attack, he didn't stop coming at Hiroshi. The air blade hit Harry full on, leaving a massive cut across his chest, but Harry kept coming, jabbing at Hiroshi's neck, gut, arms, and legs.

Kanhoji frowned at what he heard James said. His senstive hearing was never wrong, and also, his information isn't wrong at all. He heard this guy was suppose to be a friendly all around guy as he heard when he was gathering information back in North Blue or so, but this, this made him want to look in the files to see if he has it wrong. The man named James is a force to be reckon when he's fight, making Kanhoji almost shiver in excitement, but still.....
"Man, I hate it when I question my information..." Kanhoji said, laughing as he shook his head.
Turning to his sister, he gave her a bottle of...well.
"It's a tea that I made. It should numb your pain and such sis." Kanhoji said, grinning towards his sister, then his grin turned to a small smile.
"It would be a waste if interesting people die...so I'm going in closer, making sure my subjects wouldn't die." Kanhoji told her, sticking his tongue out as he turned invisable once more, already jumping down the roof they were on and running a bit more closer to the place.

Amari nodded and drank the bottle of.....well And almost gagged and spit it out at the horrible taste almost being knocked off the roof.
"Ugh......That's disgusting!!!"
Sukai chirps at her, not caring, with popcorn stuck to his face and his head.

Hiroshi tried his best to dodge all the attacks but Harry's speed was far to great for him,he received dozens of cuts from the man with one ditch effort Hiroshi jumped back away from Harry giving them some distance * That was one of my strongest attacks and he still came, not even I can keep going one with this fight* Hiroshi looked down at the cuts on his body and then looked at the man injury *Both of us are losing blood at an extraordinary rate but because of his injury he's losing a little more than I am If I could give him another deep injury that should slow him down* " Air Shaker* Hiroshi sent another huge black air blade towards Harry...

Harry started forward...then dropped down on his knees. Abruptly, Remus appeared in front of him, two pistols aimed at Hiroshi. He fired a couple of bullets, which burst into fireballs, striking the air blade and taking it out. Remus turned and grabbed Harry and ran back, dropping his ally on the ground a little ways back.

"You're losing your touch," Remus said to Harry. He turned back to face Hiroshi and smiled, raising a hand to wave at him. "Kill you later!" he said, sounding perfectly cheerful. He reached back, seizing the front of Harry's shirt and used soru, disappearing.

Hiroshi sighed and watch the two men disappear, there was no point in him chasing after them since he only faught to protect the injured guy with a quick grasp on the reason he fought Hiroshi looked around the area to see if he saw the other guy but there was no luck " Aww crap I hope that guy is alright" Hiroshi then sat down on a nearby bench and begin tending to his wounds in a few minutes Hiroshi I stitched up his main wound he got from Harry and put a bandage around it, With the smaller cuts he sprayed some disinfectant on them and then got up and begin to walk around to find the half dead man he saw earlier....

Kaori noted his captain seemed to be firmly in control of the situation, but since the marine that escaped him was here, he wasn't going to count on it lasting. He'd better come back him up.

He circled to James. appearing beside him. "Greetings, captain. It appears I overslept."

"Yo, Kaori," James simply raised one hand in greeting. "So, did you see that battle? What did ya think of that sword guy? I was thinking maybe we should let him join the crew. He was asking about it earlier."

"Let go, Remus!" Harry snapped at his comrade. Remus complied by releasing the back of Harry's shirt and dropping him over the edge of a building, which Remus was running along. Harry tumbled out of sight for a brief moment, but then he came back up, using geppou to jump onto the roof once more. "Why did you stop my battle?" Harry asked Remus.

"Simple," Remus shrugged. "You were about to be killed because of your stupidity. The Commodore would have bit my head off if I let you die. Honestly though, what were you thinking, letting yourself get cut like that?"

"Never mind," Harry replied, turning away. Once more, his knees gave out and he slumped to the ground.

"Oh yeah," Remus smirked. "You intentionally allowed yourself to take a hit in the hopes that you could kill him before he dodged your attack. Only problem with that is, you're in too much pain now to do anything, aren't you?" Harry took a half-hearted swipe at Remus, but Remus simply hopped over it and continued. "Like I said, it was stupid, but I'm proud of you. You're turning into me every day!"

Harry ignored that comment and forced himself back to his feet. Together, they used soru and dashed away, vanishing from sight.

Kanhoji sighed as the battle is over, but he can't help but sweatdrop at the chaos and mess that was made. Amari's attack on the earth is visably seen. There were blood on the floor and a few slashes on the buildings.....well, it's lesser than he thought, that's for sure.
Well, at least I found some interesting information today.
Kanhoji can't help but thought, smiling happily that his library of knowledge just increased.
By habit, he's already written what happened in the battle, turning himself visable now that there was no enemies to see him at the moment.
Looking at Hiroshi, he saw his expression and can't help but smile.
"If you're looking for that half-dead guy, he's safe." He told Hiroshi, appearing, like some kind of ninja, behind his back all the sudden.
"He's getting himself treated but if you want to see him, I could give you the adress." Kanhoji offered to the man, grinning a somewhat mysterious grin.

Hiroshi stopped walking and turned around and looked at the guy for a moment " Oh well that's good I didn't really know the guy but if he's alright I guess I can be on my way" Hiroshi looked down at his jacket and sighed heavily " Dammit now I'll have to go find me another jacket, but who the hell has doctor Jackets" Hiroshi sat there talking to himself for a moment and almost forgot about the guy in front of his " Oh yea thanks for the information about the guy tell him I said I hope he gets better" Hiroshi then begins to walk in the town searching for something interesting to do...

Kanhoji almost laughed infront of the guy, seeing how interesting he was.
"Well, doc has jackets.." Kanhoji said, shrugging as Hiroshi was already walking away. He didn't expected the swordman/doctor to hear him but he said it anyway.
Shaking his head in complete satisfaction, he began to walk over to where his sister, is; yawning on the way.
Things become just quiet, well as quiet it can get with all the gasp and screaming of either sorrow or rage, but it seemed a bit too quiet for someone like Kanhoji.
"Nahhh~ I've got a feeling this is going not going to be over..."

Amari sipped at the drink Kanhoji had given her and gagged some more before turning to her brother.
"Where to next? I hate sitting around"

((In case any of you didn't read my other message about this, my family and I are on vacation right now, so I won't be on here as frequently until we return next Thursday.))

James didn't wait around for Kaori's answer, but started off in the direction that Hiroshi had gone. It didn't take him long to find the other swordsman.

"Yo!" James called out, raising a hand in greeting as he approached Hiroshi. "Doctor-sword guy! I want to talk to you!"

Hiroshi was walking around the island now holding his jacket up in the air and staring at it while talkin to himself the people around him were staring at him and avoiding him because he was scaring them " No you couldn't just mind your own business and kept walking you had to help that guy, now look at your jacket" Hiroshi then put his jacket into his bag and kept walkin until he heard a voice callin from behind, Hiroshi turned around slowly he saw the guy from earlyer and stopped in his tracks so he could catch up " Sup?" Hiroshi had a confused look on his face the last time he saw the guy he turned him down.....
