Appearance: Reiji is not especially tall, just 5'6" and he is lean, but is decently muscular. His hair is a light brown and is long in the front. He uses his long hair to cover up his eyes, which are two separate colors. One is green and the other is blue. His feet and hands are calloused and bruised from hard work. His skin is deeply tanned from hours under the hot sun. When he is not wearing the regular outfit of a Marine, he has another outfit that is composed of a leather jacket that has a high collar around the rim, which he wears open over a brown shirt. He also wears pants are an even darker brown then his shirt. He does not usually wear shoes, though this is out of preference rather then necessity.

History: Reiji was born and raised on Sadaody Archipelago. His real name is not Reiji Mori, but in fact Reiji Tokutei He was born a Noble's son, but his mother was a slave of that same Noble. Despite his 'dirty blood' Reiji was treated as a Noble while his mother was thrown away like trash. Reiji had two older brothers and one older sister. All of them acted like true Nobles, snobbish and cruel. Reiji, on the other hand, despised his Noble heritage and secretly helped the slaves out in any way he could. He even helped two of them escape.

Unfortunately, Reiji's dealings with the slaves did not go unnoticed. His father flew into a rage when he heard what Reiji was doing, but he quickly realized that his son was also a son of a slave and so he decided that that must be the reason for his actions. So, Reiji's father sent him away to live with one of his brothers, who had moved into a new home of his own. The idea was to get Reiji out of his familiar surroundings and to show him how to really treat slaves.

Reiji's brother was cruel to his slaves and beat them for even the slightest violation. Not surprisingly, Reiji hated him for this. He began helping out several of the slaves around his brother's house, but this time he was more secretive about it. When Reiji turned twelve he befriended a young girl slave, named Maria, who was about his own age. Reiji's brother believed that Reiji was 'becoming of age' and trying to sweet talk the girl and he left them alone, making it the perfect smokescreen for their friendship. For once, Reiji was happy. He had never had a friend about his age before. The two of them spent all their time together. Unfortunately, it didn't last.

Suspicious of his brother's lack of 'activity', Reiji's brother moved in on the girl and planned on having her killed. When Reiji learned of this, he went back to his old home to request his father's assistance with the matter. Of course, his father did not care and told him to deal with it himself. So Reiji took a double-bladed spear from his father's home and went back to his brother's house. Once there, Reiji stopped the girl's execution and in fact, cut his brother's cheek with the spear. Reiji freed his friend and they fled the Archipelago. Reiji quickly came to a decision to join the Marines and his friend agreed. So first Reiji changed his last name to 'Mori' before the twosome went to the Marine HQ and requested to be made Marines. They were successful and soon were assigned a ship and a crew to apprentice under.

The Marines never did discover who Reiji or his friend really were. They both were successful and they leaped up through the ranks.

Personality: Reiji is a friendly guy. He wants to meet as many people as he can. Reiji does not care who you are, or what you are, he wants to help everyone. He is a very protective person no matter what comes up. He does not want anyone to die for him, but would willing die for another. Basically, he's an all around great guy.

Special Abilities:

Spear Master: Since he first picked up the Kuroi Getsuei, Reiji has become very good at fighting with a spear. He has put in many hours to perfecting his skill with his chosen weapon.

Learned Techniques:

Black Fan: Reiji spins his spear at high speeds around him close to the ground to whip up dust in the air to hide himself and others.

Black Dart: Reiji shoots forward and stabs at his opponent's chest.

Black Top: Reiji spins his spear so that it virtually becomes a singular blade that cuts anyone who gets near it.
