Serious: My justice isn't like yours (closed)

"What? Oh..." Uddo shook his head. "No, it's not that. I'll go find...Avis. I'm just kind of annoyed that I don't have the doctoring skills that I need to really help you guys out."

"Eh..."
Johan could feel Jacksons cold stare in his neck. The man had popped up out of seemingly nowhere, ready for his little special mission.
"I-it's not like that at all! You're a great help, really!"
he shivered a little, and not only because of the chilliness that he could clearly feel on his neck...
"I-if I just as much as think of how Jamil treats his patients... One time he..."
jackson decided it was a good time to interrupt, and took a step forward.
"We're almost there. You should prepare yourself."

Luna looked down and jumped off the masks, giggling as it looked like as was falling straight toward the water, only to have her wings grow and her swoop up, her hand skiming water as she did before landing on the deck softly.

"L-Luna!"
Johan had sprinted towards the reling, ready to jump after her if necessary. He watched her fly, his heart still beating way fast out of shock.
"D-d-don't do that kind of stuff! You were giving me a heartattack!"
He almost sounded angry, but truly, he had just been insanely worried, and that was what was showing on his face and in his voice most of all.

Luna blinked and looked down "sorry" she said softly as she held her hands infrout of herself and stared at the floor

Seeing her like this, Johan felt sorry. he laid his hands on her shoulders and tried a smile.
"Hey, it's all right. I was just w-worried about you."
He didn't know id that'd do, but it had to.... Suddenly, he got an idea.
"Tell you what, actually, I could use your help with something..."

The ship was at the docks of the island now, this small, quiet town was a nice change from the last one.... the streets didn't consist of mud, and the people didn't seem like they'd try to mug, rape, or kill you the moment you set foot on their land....
Jackson looked down the street, then turned to Uddo.
"Are you ready?"

Luna looked up and smiled "really? what can i do?" she asked grining, happy she was gonna be able to help.

Johan looked around, as if he was afraid someone was listening. no one was close by, but still, he lead labelisa even further away from the crew and lowered his voice to barely more than a whisper.
"See.. Th-there's that woman, and.... Uh, I...."
he didn't look at her, kept his eyes fixed on the ground. He was visibly emberassed, he was blushing....
"..I m-may.... perhaps... like her... a little, uhm..."
He realised just how little he wanted to talk about that subject to anyone. At all. He really, really hoped she'd get it by herself.

(Go ahead and crush his hopes if you feel like it, or don't. I really don't care. Putting him into awkward situations is funny.)

Uddo nodded. "I'm ready to pull out whenever you are," he said. He moved down onto the dock and waited for Jackson to follow.

"Hey, hey, come on now you guys. Can't you just let it slip? Just a lil barfight, everyone has those once in a while, right?"
Shad was lookin through bars at the marine soldiers, who were just leaving the room. One of them turned around.
"But not everyone beats nine people close to death and destroys half the bar in the process."
"All in good fun! Tell you what, I'll make you a nice new suit if you let me out of here, okay?"
The soldiers ignored him. One moment later, he was alone in his cell.
"Talk about funspoiling... At least this isn't all uncomfortable..."
He looked at his... bed... and desperately wished he wasn't handcuffed.Why did he have to wear seastone handcuffs in a cell anyway? Just because he had eaten a devilfruit. How discriminating.
Sighing, he let himself fall to the floor. He'd get out of here at some point... After all, once they realised who they had caught, he would be going straight to Impel Down.
He layed his head back against the stone wall behind him and closed his eyes. First, it was time for a nap... then he'd start looking for a way out of here.

Luna blinked and sweat droped alittle "do you want me to help you find her or something?" she asked as she wished he would just say what he ment and not leave her to guess

"No, uhm... You see, she doesn't know about... that.... and..."
Why did she always have to crush his hopes? Now he actually had to say what he meant!
"I kind of wanted to ask you how to tell her. You know, win her over, that kind of thing..."
Sure, he had been married, but he had saved Anikas life! It had been easy! Now with Avis, it was.... more like she'd save his.

Jackson grabbed a package that had been lying on the floor and followed. When he stood beside Uddo, he gave him a short look.
"we can change here, but I'd prepare somewhere else, so it can't be connected to Johan."
He nodded at the package. White cloth was showing at its edge. Marine uniforms.
"Don't ask how we got them."

Luna blinked and rubbed her head "well..that deprends on what she's like" she said "tell me about her"

"Aaah..."
Johans gaze went off into the distance.
"She's... strong. And beautiful... though not in the boring, normal way! She's so adventurous! And she's so straight forward! Lighthearted, happy, intimidating... and so, so very strong... She might even be stronger than me..."
Though he wasn't talking anymore, he clearly wasn't back to reality again just yet.
It took a few seconds for him to look back at Luna and actually see her.
"Actually, I'm not so sure whether or not I like her, but... I find myself thinking about her a lot."

"I understand," Uddo nodded. "Lead on, bossman!" He gave Jackson a mock salute and grinned.

Luna giggled softly and smiled "well, it sounds like you should give her little hints, and wait for the right moment to come out with it. the hints are so you can figer out if she likes you to or not"

"D-do you think?..."
What an awkward, emberassing situation. Well, at least no one would guess he was a division commander under Anubis and a revolutionary leader this way... Right now he looked like a really, really shy guy with girl troubles.
"Hey, while we're here, how about we go take a look at the island? I have a lot of questions about this issue...and about you as well."

Jackson did not seem to hear the mocking tone in Uddos voice, or he politely ignored it. No matter which one, he nodded and went down the street, between a few people shopping and some just taking a walk on a nice day.

Luna smiled softly "i do" she laughed and smiled "sure, and just ask away" she smiled and giggled

"So..." Uddo had to jog to catch up with Jackson. "You never gave me time to answer your question earlier. I have read something on Jacksons, but all that the book said was that there seemed to be a species of human-like people, who are all named Jackson. Stranger still, these people do not talk about themselves. That's all I found out. So, is the whole secret thing true?" He glanced over at Jackson curiously.

Jumping up once they hit the dock bakura was eager to stretch his legs maybe find a nice bar or bed. He quickly and rudely rushed past the others not looking back. Once he was almost off the peer he thought about his actions.

Calling out he yelled back to the others "IS THERE ANYTHING YOU NEED ME TO DO?"

Jackson seemed to have anticipated something like this to happen, his answer came way too quickly for anything else to be the case.
"Now if I told you, it wouldn't be a secret, right?"
For a while, he remained silent, then he stopped and looked at a cafe by the side of the road.
"There aren't many Jacksons out there.... Most of them prefer not to get into contact with the outer world..."
He handed Uddo one of the uniforms.
"I'm sure they'll have a toilet room or something you can change in... We'll meet up back here in five minutes."

"Bakura..."
Johan turned to him, deep in thought.
"Hm, well you could.... Stay here and watch over the ship, or go and look around the island... It's your call really, it's your free day after all."
Then he turned back to Luna.
"Well, shall we then?"
He slowly heded off onto the docks, and waited for Luna to follow.

As Jackson answered his question, but acted like he wasn't going to answer Uddo's question, the boy had to fight the urge to roll his eyes. Finally, he took the uniform from Jackson and headed off to go find somewhere to change. As he changed in a nearby bathroom, Uddo wished that he looked a little bit older. He would have to just pretend to be a new recruit or something. When he was finished changing, Uddo reluctantly dumped his other clothes into a trash can before he heading back to the meeting place.

Luna smiled and nodded and followed him, lifting her legs and just flying low to the ground because she jsut didnt feel like walking.

"Very well then I am off see ya later." Bakura quickly leaves before anyone changes their minds. He also misses Luna's flight.

"Ah, there you are."
Anyone on the street could have sworn Jackson had just appeared, while still being completely sure he had been standing there the whole time, mysteriously changing outfits without anyone noticing...
He was wearing the uniform of a petty officer, his usual hat now replaced by a marine cap covering his eyes... Uddo didn't get a marine cap...
Jackson managed to pull off the look of a marine so well, even the fleet admiral couldn't have guessed he was a... wait, or was he... Confusing.
Jackson turned around and walked down the street.
"Follow me, then."

Johan cleared his throat.
"Well, Luna, I normally don't do this kind of stuff, but... if you see something you like, let me know..."
He offerd her his arm like a gentleman. Not like he actually wanted this to become some sort of romance, he would have offered any lady his arm. In fact, he didn't even think about there being any other meaning than politeness towards a lady behind this gesture.
"See it as a welcome present, if you like. And also, since you helping me with, uh... that problem has little to do with bringing down the world government... you can see it as a thank you as well..."
