Serious: The Dire Desperados Ch 3 - Time to Relax and Reload (Closed)

Dontae quickly jumped back avoiding the blades, Dontae then whistle and his Tiger Cannon came shooting cannon ball sized bullets at the golem, Dontae then pulled his guns out and fired his flame bullets at the golem which took the shape of two dragons that came crashing down onto the golem with the barrage of bullets from his tiger cannon.....

"Well done, partner! What were you thinking?!"
For the life of him, Zuzen couldn't understand why Jamil would even consider this situation to be favourable. They could have used he rooftops to escape! Why take the roads?!
Jamil stayed calm, even upon having his arms on his back. Not even he could move them anymore, and he was proud of his flexibility.
"Well, partner, if you really wish to be called so, tell me, isn't this much better than being beaten into submission, or killed on sight? Those pirates are nothing special. They'll be defeated soon."
Hard, cold words. Normal for Jamil, but still...
"Don't you think you're being a little hard on them....."
He knew that wasn't the full truth. Jamil wasn't the type of preson who'd risk his life easily for someone else, he had proven this time after time again. This much made sense. But Zuzen also knew for sure that his partner would rather be shot or beaten into submission than to be sent to Impel Down. Which is where they'd most likely go, by the looks of it.
He didn't even know what it looked like, but Jamil had worked there, and... Well, if something was bad enough to make Jamil shiver, then it couldn't be anything but hell. But what was that man planning by letting them be captured?! Zuzen didn't know, and he was too tired to even care anymore. He just wished Jamil would spit out his plans before setting them in action at least once.

Miryan stepped forwards and to the side, causing the attack to go past her, as she swung around, right hand extended to slam Avis in the back of the head. Beating the captain could be harder with the other guy around. She needed the golem to keep the gunman in line.

The golem splattered, flying off in all directions. For about one second. The explosive force was countered, sending the golem back into a solid shape. However, it was not made complete. The golem looked open somehow. Suddenly, it turned into tiny shards and rushed directly forwards, intent on piercing him dozens of times over. Then, having moved about 5 meters or so, the golem became solid once more.

" Crap" Dontae jumped back hoping to distance himself from the golem, Dontae looked over at Avis seeing that she was having problems of her own and couldn't help him with his Dontae shoots six more bullets at the golem three of them burst into flame and the other three exploded creating a cyclone of wind that caught the fire which created a vortex of flame the headed to the golem " Flame Vortex!!"

The sudden strike caught after her own stab had missed caught Avis off her guard, and Miyran's attack connected with the back of her head before she could retaliate. Sent head-over-heels and landing in a snow bank that had accumulated near the side of a nearby building, Avis groaned as she rolled onto her side. At least she was intact for the most part.

She tenderly brought a hand up to the back of her head, wincing as she felt that it was beginning to become damp, probably with some of her own blood. Pressing a palm against the building to steady herself as she attempted to stand, Avis wobbled to an upright position when her vision blacked out for moment. All this damage to the head probably wasn't helping her any.

The golem was effectively invincible, and had now separated into many, many tiny shards. Numbering in the hundreds. The whirling tornado of sharp shards spun, spreading out wide and suddenly moving swiftly towards Dontae, intent to cut through him with the quickly moving massive ring of rapidly moving shards.

Miryan wasn't one to offer mercy, and as soon as Avis was standing again, she charged to kick the pirate hard in the side, hopefully throwing her into the sea. She had shown an odd power before. If so, this would be her end, and she would be easy to collect.

Mirage awoke, after a while, and seeing Miryan going, to kick Avis, was more than enough for him, to leap to her rescue, as he made used his Spider move, and went to block the kick with his right arm, hoping that since his arm was hard as steel, it could take the hit now.

Dontae was now completely out of ideas, everyone of his attacks seem to fail against this monster, as the shards came towards Dontae he jumped out of the way at the last second but still managed to receive some pretty deep cuts on his legs. Dontae yelled as he fell to the ground after trying to avoid the attack and receiving his wound " Dammit" Dontae was breathing heavily and grabbing his leg " I'm not gonna beat this thing like this" Dontae then stands up and reloads his guns and prepared to attack the monster again " Guess I'll have to hold out for Avis to take out the marine controlling this damn thing" Dontae then shoots a dozen bullets at the shards of the golem that exploded creating a huge shockwave knocking Dontae down on his back....

"Can't you find your own marines to play with?" Avis snarled, glancing over at Mirage with the slightest hint of exasperation. This steel guy didn't know how to quit while he was still ahead. He must've been determined to die for that dinghy of his that was sent to oblivion, since she couldn't possibly think of any other reason why he'd jump into a fight like that and block one of the Vice-Admiral's blows.

Although he was able to give her enough time to regain her composure slightly, her breathing was becoming increasingly labored and her head more arduous. She then decided to not think about it any longer and take advantage of the moment while they still could, and Avis sped towards the marine until they were a mere distance away from the other then slashed with both her swords. One blade was directed at the neck, while the second was slightly lower and closer towards the collar bone.

Mirage glared, and would have began to curse, but he kept on trying to hold off the vice-admiral.

" Ya know, if I saved you, I thought you would have been a little nicer, especially if you don't know why I saved your behind in the first place.." Mirage growled.

The shards circle around the shockwave, coalescing as it fades, turning into a maul which hammers down on Dontae's chest, intent on finally taking him out of the fight.

Miryan sighed exasperatingly as she was blocked. She jumped upwards and directed a kick at Mirage's face. She had watched the other pirate move, and knew and attack was coming. She thus spun, leaning back heavily to avoid both attacks.

Mirage used his other hand, to block the kick, as he made buzzsaws come out of his hands. Mirage then thrusted his hand forward.

Dontae was now out of options he was losing blood out his leg fairly fast and he saw his last attack did nothing to the golem " Dammit that thing is invincible" as he talked the golem formed into a weapon in front of him and slammed down, Dontae was able to quickly block then attack with his shotgun the the force and power behind the attack sent Dontae flying back tossing into the ground like a rag doll. Dontae stood up with his two pistols in his hand he then drops them realizing his vision was fading in and out he pulls out one last cigarette and lights it and takes a puff out of it and falls backwards and faints....

The sword whizzed harmlessly by the Vice-Admiral when she swerved backwards, and Avis' momentum caused her to continue a short distance and end up a short distance past the woman.

"Don't flatter yourself," she curtly responded to Mirage. She was doing just fine with only herself and Dontae, and sudden appearance was sheer luck in her opinion. Avis would have liked to think that she could have stopped that attack, even without his assistance.

Slightly preoccupied with thoughts of giving Mirage a piece of her mind the next chance she got, she then took the sword that was closest to the marine and swung it horizontally at her backside.

Ran swung around, kicking the sword aside as she readied an attack on the man, intending to take him out once and for all. Her golem took a dash to behind Mirage, and then moved again, separating into hundreds of red crystalline shards.

Ran launched a furious assault of punches on Mirage, targeting his upper body and face as the red crystal shards drove towards him from behind. Their intention was to pierce him several times over in a great flurry of razor sharp projectiles, targeting his whole body with the massive amount of sharp shards.

Mirage simply made blades erupt out of his body, as he tried to use them to stop some of the shards, but the rest all cut deep into him, sending blood through the air, as he flew through the air, and landed with a thud.

Jace heard the shouting and came out into the front room to find Marines standing in the doorway. He shot forward, transforming into his hybrid form as he went. Jace began punch with one arm at high speed and he flattened three of the Marines almost instantly.

How did they find me? Jace wondered as he fought. They couldn't have followed me here...not with the captain and the others in their way. Unless... Jace let out a furious roar and moved even faster then before, his fist's shape now barely discernible as he punched.

Miryan stepped on Mirage, intent to keep him in check as a trail of blood shot out of her left hand, moving like a lengthened hand, grabbing Avis by the ankle and crashing to the ground, before starting to pull her towards the marine admiral. She shouted to the ship. "Hey! Marine! Get over here and take the seastone handcuffs!" She shouted impatiently. About time she took out these pirates. The came, bearing the handcuffs, and started handcuffing the pair as Ran held them in check.

(Ah, yeah. I didn't see that. I wasn't really paying attention to the whole Marines versus crew stuff. I was mainly waiting for the battle to end and I saw this thread had been abandoned for the last five days so...anyway, how long is this fight supposed to last? Ran is strong, I get that. But either she wins or she doesn't. Or she retreats. She's already gone to the upcoming war so she couldn't have been hurt to badly in this fight.)

((We were having a bit of timing problems since we wanted to match up with another crew's thread, so things were dragged out a bit in that regard. We're all good to go now, though. As long as people aren't too tied up in the war, maybe we can pick up the pace a bit if that's alright with everyone. The fight with Miryan should be done, I believe.))

Although the fight had drained Avis of most of her energy, she still had enough spark to give Miryan a smoldering stare as the handcuffs were clapped onto her wrists. She was still quite sore about their whole backhanded plan, even more so now that they had captured her, and most likely some of the others too. Jace's distant roar became a painful reminder, and a pang of guilt hit deep in her gut.

They must had found the others if Jace was acting up, and Dontae couldn't be in good shape if the monster of blood was able to get past him. She bit her lip anxiously, causing it bleed more than it already was. After sitting there to mull in her thoughts for a few moments, she decided to stand up using her own power instead of waiting to be dragged up to her feet. From there, Avis didn't know what she was going to do. Her thoughts became ghastly blank and unsure. There were too many things going wrong, and there wasn't enough they could do to counteract them.

((So, is everyone captured? Do we cut to the ship now? Gee, you really did speed it up, now I'm slightly behind you guys. But hey, we can do this!))

((Hm... Zuzen, Jamil, Avis and possibly Mirage are already caught/in the process of. Dontae's laying unconscious somewhere, Dynar's doing his own thing, and Jace/Killua are in the building the marine's found. It shouldn't be much longer, but we can wait a bit if it's getting too far ahead.))

Miryan all but ignored Avis' angry looks as she got back to the ship, disappearing belowdeck. A few more marines turned up to haul the captured pirates to the brig on the marine ship. Miryan herself was now out of this business. She thought she had spent too much time here already. (Miryan, out.)

A few marines fell to Jace's assault, but the rest stepped back aiming at Jace in the cramped room and firing upon him, confident that the lack of space to dodge would do him in.
