| "FOLLOW THEM!" Miryan yelled to the marines at the top of her voice. "They're outnumbered and wounded, we will triumph!" Vice Admiral Ran had a tendency to make a marine obey, and even those who had heeded Jace's words were now in hot pursuit.
Miryan decided to handle the rabble that stayed behind herself. She noted the pirate whose vessel had been shot, mocking him. "Too bad about your boat." She condescendingly mocked as she ran. "Maybe you should have killed the one who actually destroyed it? But how will you ever find him? They all look the same! Uniform, see?" Ran was taking her time taunting the opponent. "So you take on the superior officer." The mockery was gone, replaced with supreme confidence. "You should've just stuck to killing grunts. Enjoy your last few seconds, pirate." Miryan rushed at Mirage, attempting to run him through with the red crystalline blade that had, out of nowhere, coalesced into her hand.
Ryon surfaced, the massive frog laying on its back unmoving as Dynar clambered on top of it, coughing up water. After coughing the last of the water out of his lungs, he spoke in a raspy voice. "The hit knocked Ryo out immediately, and I got stuck under him when we fell underwater. I have never seen Ryo taken out this easily. Watch it around her. She's strong."

| Jamil threw a knive at the nearing marines, and Zuzen, who had just let him go, felt the need to grab his arm again. "Don't be an idiot, man! We're way outnumbered!" Again, he started dragging the torturer. He was starting to enjoy the realisation that they were equal when it came to physical strenght. His happiness vanished as he recalled that he was a lot taller than Jamil. the latter, meanwhile, had stopped resisting and instead, started running by himself. At the first chance, it was his turn to grab Zuzens arm and drag him into a narrow ally. He jumped from the ground to a box, from there ran up the wall as far as he could and grabbed onto a window ledge, pulled himself up, then extended his hand downwards. Zuzen was surprised he'd help him, but gladly jumped up and took it. He was once again astonished by his small comrades strenght. While holding him with one hand, Jamil could hear the marines had almost reached the entrance to the allyway. The window should be too high for them to reach right now, and they shouldn't notice if one was broken. Without thinking any longer, he smashed the window in with his other elbow, then used both his hands to grab onto Zuzen and jumped in, automatically dragging his partner behind him. They were in a bedroom, long abandoned, judging by the thick layer of dust. Jamil took a post at the window and carefully looked for marines following them. The best would be to hide for now, take care of the wounds as good as they could.

(VA Ran is just about my most powerful character, and it shows here.) Mirage bit his lip underneath his mask, as he used what flames he had left on his sword, and managed to make a little wall of fire, as he used his spider move, which render his entire body as hard as steel. "We will just see about that..", Mirage said as he looked back at Avis, and laughed. "Hey...don't worry about me. If she gets through my fire wall, then well...I guess I run..", Mirage whispered to Avis, as he began to back up very quickly, thinking that the vice-admiral would probably be able to get through his fire wall with no trouble.

| "If you don't want people to worry about you, don't go charging into things," Avis responded dryly. She couldn't comprehend what was running through that mind of his in the least. They might have a better chance if they just regrouped and drawn out the Vice-Admiral before attacking as a unit, but a frontal assault should have been out of the question for a sane person.
It wasn't long until the marines noticed that intruders tried to attack their superior, and many had begun to bring up arms. They obviously had the advantage in numbers. Two of Avis' remaining swords leapt out of their sheaths and appeared to take on minds of their own, and they were able to cut through a few marines with ease before a number of them regained their wits enough to block some of the blows. The sudden burst of excitement on their own ship would hopefully be enough to distract a good number of marines from whatever they may have been doing.

| " Oi, is there a way you can get him onto shore Captain is ordering a tactical retreat" Dontae yelled from the shore out to Dynar Dontae then felt a sharp pain come threw his shoulder he turned around and pulled out his pistol and shot a marine right threw his eyes, Dontae looked down his arm was throbbing and bleeding " Dammit seems I've been shot" Dontae had a calm voice about the whole situation he then turned back to Dynar... | |

| Suddenly, a red flood erupted from the woman, her blood rushing into a humanlike form, somehow not staining her clothes at all. It shaped into a moving mat of sorts, engulfing the fire as the woman ran through, the blood sucking into her as she passed the wall, part of it channeling right through her to form a blade. She then continued her maneuver to run Mirage through. | |

Mirage waitied, until the last possible moment, and jumped out of the way, letting the blade leave a deep gash on his right hand, as he then called for Avis to start running, as Mirage sped away from the vice admiral.

| "Gah, make up your mind!" Avis called back, giving a snort of disbelief as he sped past. Charging a Vice-Admiral and then retreating the next. How indecisive. She eventually followed a short distance back from Mirage and kept pace with him, with two of her swords still hovering shortly behind. Keeping her eyes glued forward, she refused to look back and see how many marines would be chasing them down.
At least everyone appeared to make it back into the town alright; everyone except Dontae and Dynar. Why they appeared to be sitting idly and talking she had no idea, but she intended to motivate them as their paths crossed. Wide eyed and rather flustered, she reached out to grab Dontae by the back of his shirt to drag him with if necessary. Since Dynar was floating in the seawater, he was spared and only given a look of urgency. "Less talk, more running!"

| Mirage then ran right up to Avis and Dontae.
"...Man..that stupid navy chick, cut my hand open... Well, can't worry about that now..c'mon guys!! Lets get out of here!!", Mirage shouted, as he made blades on the bottom of his feet, to go faster.

| Jace could not see anything from where he stood in the doctor's office. His view was blocked by all the other buildings in the way. So he distracted himself by getting some disinfectant and bandages out to take care of Killua and Vala's wounds as best he could. Jace had a lot of experience with bandages, but he could only use one arm and his hand was too big and clumsy for this. As a result, his work was sloppy, but still passable. They would not die. At least, he hoped they wouldn't. Jace went to the front door of the office and then tried to move his damaged arm. He succeeded in making it swing back and forth, but pain nearly caused him to black out. Jace sighed, and sat down, waiting for whatever would come. | |

| After searching the room, then the entire house, for bandages, Jamil found himself back where he had started: the bedroom. Zuzen was relaxing, maybe dozing off already on the big bed. Jamil sighed. That guy was just impossible sometimes. He took a closer look at the bedsheets, and found them suitable enough. In one movement, he ripped a long piece off, which provoced a disapproving moan from his partner. He ignored it and bound what had once been a sheet around the cut on his leg tightly. it stopped the bleeding, but he'd have to take a better look at it later. It was awfully quiet outside. "Zuzen?" Another sign of clear disapproval evoked from hearing the try of a conversation. Zuzen pressed his head into the pillow. "Yeeees?" Jamil ignored the whiny tone in his voice and instead, took a thoughtful look at the rest of the bedsheets. Then he pushed Zuzen down from them. "Ouch! Hey! I was awake already!" Jamil took the sheets into his hand and cut a nice piece out with his knife. "I know, but I had to get to those bedsheets." He walked up to the dusty mirror and wiped over it with his hand. "What for? Man, that hurt..." Zuzen rubbed the back of his head, which he had landed on. then he looked at his partner, and saw what for. Slowly, carefully, almost as if doing something sacred, Jamil bound the piece around the lower half of his face. An improvised mask, which he could hide behind. Zuzen shut his mouth. This wasn't for him to interfere with... He could've just asked though. "So, what now?" Jamil turned to him, now a lot more comfortable with the situation. "Now, we look for the others." "Ah...Wait, what?" | |

| Dynar sighed and looked at the unconscious frog. There was no way he could move the massive creature. The marines probably wouldn't bother dealing with a downed frog. Dynar took a deep breath and dove underwater, aiming to reach the crisis stealthily. There was no way he would leave Ryo like that, but he needed his kit.
Miryan continued her pursuit, managing to easily keep up with Mirage. Blades of blood shot out of her like boomerangs, sent out at Mirage in a shallow arc, targeting the midsection as she ran.

| The attacks hit Mirage, before he could turn his body into steel, as the blades left cuts on his chest, as the masked pirate was sent flying.

| Having a brief lapse in judgment, Avis hesitantly peeked over her shoulder to see if Dynar had managed to catch up with them. It became apparent that he hadn't for some reason, and she had to remind herself that he was clever enough to avoid drawing attention too much attention. She should probably ask for some pointers if they ever had the chance, since the Vice-Admiral didn't seem like she'd wait for that sort of thing.
Answering Mirage's call for help, two of Avis' levitating swords slashed at the blood blades on their return flight in an attempt to prevent them from returning to the woman where they could be used again. She then shot off a hastily executed 36-pound cannon from her only other unbroken sword held in her hand. The point-blank projectile would hopefully be enough to give the some space, but Avis was getting less confident that anything short of a miracle would be able to keep her off their tails for long.

| Dynar surfaced by the Crisis and climbed onboard. The marines had mostly spread out in the city. He glanced at the frog still floating in the water. However, a marine was still onboard as he hauled himself up, but was surprised to see a marine still on the deck. The marine pointed a gun at Dynar, who grabbed it by the barrel with his hair, moving closer to engulf the marine. He cracked the marine's neck and threw him overboard.
Then he went to belowdeck to pick up his supplies, finding them in the room they were usually in. He ran up with his kit and dived back in again.
The woman's blood coalesced into a shield. Apparently she didn't want to slow down for any reason. The pound cannon shattered the shield, expending its force there and leaving Miryan unharmed. "Stay still damn you! I'll take you both out!" Miryan shouted after them as she tried to close the distance, gathering a swarm of red crystalline shards around her.

| "Wait!!! Lady!!! ..I know this is going to make sound like a coward...but maybe we should give up....to stop our- I mean your guys from getting hurt like that frog guy...Don't worry..I got a plan to get us out of this, once we get caught and stuff." Mirage said getting on his knees, as he put down his sword, and then said, that he would let the marines capture him, if they would let Avis and her crew go. | |

| Miryan's blood shifted again, some of it moving to her body, while some coalescing into a solid gauntlet around his right hand. She moved as if to move past Mirage, but at the last second lowered her posture, bringing the blood-mailed fist towards Mirage's chin. "War in the Blood." She empowered her fist with strength from added bloodflow. They could get them all, why go with a pirate's wishes? They could only win this way.
Careening past the pirate, she ran for the captain of the desperados. The bigger fish.
The marines had by now spread out, and a group of them burst into the doctor's office. "Surrender! The Vice Admiral shall soon bring your captain to justice."

| Killuas eyes opened. His vision was all fuzzy and distorted. Killua then sat up rubbing his head."Owww.... that hurt...... where?" Killua couldnt remember how he got here, just that he had fought some bounty hunters, and then some marines came, and then after that, the rest was complete blur to him. He then saw Jace, who seemed injured "Jace senpai.... where, what? whats going on?" | |

| Jamil glared aroundthe corner, but only for a moment. Marines everywhere. He leaned against the wall and closed his eyes. They would find them, this or that way. The desperados were also as good as done for. No sense in fighting here... But giving up would be shameful. So, what to do? He already knew. Now, how to explain it to his more than annoying survivalist partner? Said partner was trying to be pressed against the wall next to him as flat as possible. He still couldn't believe he was actually doing this. "So, is everything clear? Jamil?..... Hello?" After a few more seconds of silence, Jamil opened his eyes again. He pushed himself from the wall and grabbed Zuzens shoulders. Then he proceeded to stare into his eyes intensly, which made the young man feel rather uncomfortable. Just when he started shifting his weight from one foot to another, Jamil started to talk. "Zuzen, you trust me." It wasn't a question, still Zuzen was compelled to answer. He didn't get a chance to, as he was dragged out of the allyway and onto a street filled with marine soldiers. "Yeargh!" Was that even a certified sound? It had begun with "yes" and ended in "argh".... If it wasn't a sound, then Zuzen had just made it into one. Jamil let go of him and stepped forward. "Marine soldiers! We surrender!" | |

| Avis was taken aback by the Vice-Admiral sudden change of target, and she didn't have all that much time to react, either. Attempting to flee any further wasn't going to help at this point, but the Avis wasn't about to let the marine gain her prize without working for it first. Recalling a sword back to her outstretched arm so she had a weapon in each hand, a determined Avis charged towards the woman where they would meet in the middle. | |

| Mirage's mask went flying off, as he flew through the air, as his nose was broken, and as he landed on the ground, Mirage quickly covered his face, with his hat, as blood dripped from his hand wound, and the bottom of his jaw, as he then put on his mask, as he was fading in and out of conciness, he saw Miryan going after Avis.
Even though, Mirage had only met Avis today, she impressed him, even if she didn't nearly kill as many people, as he thought she would have. But as one last effort, before he went under, he turned his arm into a blade, and after using what power he had left, dug it into the ground, and strained nearly every muscle in his left arm, picking up a piece of ground, as he then flung it at Miryan, as he then lifted up his mask, and took a sip of his gin, before he fell to the ground.

| " Sonic Boom" Six bullets flew around Avis head and exploded right before they hit the Vice Admiral creating a huge shock wave as the shock wave exploded the large metal tiger grab Mirage and ran away from the explosion behind Dontae " Oi Captain don't forget about me what kind of friend would let you face that crazy women alone" Dontae then ran up beside Avis hoping she wouldn't be mad at him for interfering, the metal tiger laid Mirage on the ground a few yards behind Avis and Dontae and then ran up beside Dontae.. | |

| Miryan continued running, crouching down to avoid the flying chunk of ground she caught in the corner of her eye, but suddenly turned pale white again, the red weapons leaving her hands. "Schism." She was fully drained of blood, but it didn't seem to bother her. The blood turned into a golem of sorts, which simply ran at the bullets, blasted into pieces, but coalesced immediately to float towards Dontae as Miryan herself jumped to meet the charging Avis, aiming to jumpkick her in the face as the golem manifested blades and rushed at Dontae, slashing at his neck.
The marines aimed guns at the revolutionaries, but as they surrendered, a few took out manacles as the others aimed to ensure compliance with the threat of lead balls in unspecified parts of their body. Two marines went behind them, pulling their hands back to handcuff them behind their backs. They were pushed into the group, the to center of a squad of battle-ready marines.

| Miryan's flying kick smashed into Avis' face before she had time to react, and Avis was sent toppling backwards onto her back. The place she was hit throbbed, hurting more than she expected it would. A cut in her mouth filled part of her mouth with metallic-tasting blood. Spitting out of some of it while a portion formed a trail down the side of her jaw, a poor attempt at a fierce snarl ended in a wince.
Dontae's help would make things easier, but it was only time until enough marines could show up and make things impossible. Avis stood up not long after she hit the ground, and she bolted towards Miryan's side, where she swiftly thrust one of her swords towards the woman's abdomen.
