SERIOUS: Reminiscing about the Past, Haru Nenji meets previous Garuda Pirates' members. ( open to all previous garuda pirates and those who want to join)

Seppy stood still, his hand in the air, lookin' a bit confused. He lowered it to his side, but persisted with his judgement.

"'M not sayin' we should turn 'em in, righ'? Jus' tip off someone that he's in th'area...mostly, I was sayin' it fer you." Standing still with his arms at his sides, Seppy stared at Miyu with a mixed look. He seemed both confused and sort of hurt.

Looking over at bizarre, the ex-hunter felt the swirl of his indignant anger at the strange swordsman, his confusion at his partner's unfriendly reaction, and his rebuke at being brushed off all suddenly harden into a powerful, concrete sense of fury. Hairs standing on end, Seppy stared at weirdguy for a bit, then at Miyu, words caught in his throat.

"It hit me that if we jus' skipped t'th' leavin' part swordyguy here'd jus' run aroun' hackin' and slashin' and tearin' up ev'ry damn clown on this island," Seppy explained, slowly, his voice lacking it's usual mirth. "'M pretty stupid though, maybe I didn' think it through enough."

There was this terrible feeling that something was very wrong. Seppy felt angry at himself for getting so angry over this situation, but he couldn't make heads nor tails of it. Every time his natural, easy-going nature tried to calm him back down, he remembered two things; the guy with the swords, and Miyu shrugging him off like some stranger. In the span of a few seconds to the rest of the world, the pirate underwent a very intense decision-making process.

Finally, his face paled a bit as he came to a conclusion. As best as his tiny little mind could figure, he knew why Miyu was acting so oddly in the face of this man. In his head he knew why she rushed to heal his victims in one moment and defended him the next. Why she spoke of her history with him, and why he didn't seem worried by anything the hunter-, no, the ex-hunter, had to say.

"I guess 'm interruptin' something," Seppy offered apologetically, though he still sounded somewhat angry. He stared at the two, his hand instinctively reaching for Miyu in spite of his words. It'd barely moved an inch, though, when he remembered that she'd rejected that same gesture of friendship a scarce moment ago, for this man; his hand suddenly stung as if it'd been bitten.

His weak and single-track brain unable to take any more complex emotional though, Seppy fell back on his oldest and most successful defense mechanism; letting his instincts figure out his next course of action, he dropped to all fours and scurryied up the nearst building in a matter of seconds.

Once he'd found his way to the rooftops he simply had a run about Water-7, one district to the next, his aching hybrid mind refusing to think about anything of a higher order than where to place his foot next or how to bend his spine for a landing. Thinking-Seppy needed some time to figure out what he was going to do; Instinct-Seppy had the reins for now.

"Seppy!"
Everything was... so complicated all of a sudden.
Had she hurt him?
She remembered her actions. Of course she had... How stupid of her.
But weren't they best friends? Hadn't he given up his life for her before? They were a crew, right? Right?
Miyu took one step towards where he had disappeared, her hand stretched out as if she could still reach him.
There was that confused emptiness inside her, keeping her from thinking clearly... Making her forget about everything. Until a chaotic storm of thoughts started forming, using the emptiness that had once been her brain and destroying everything in its path.
Haru. Seppy. Her. That was the theme of most thoughts.
In the real world, Miyus hand fell back to her side and she herself fell to her knees, into the red blood slowly rinsing off the street, into the waterways. It was a small, crazy world, wasn't it? Those two in the same spot with her. How was she supposed to make her mind up when she didn't even know who she...
She didn't cry. She just stared as realisation hit her. Stared at the blood emptily, watching it conquer the white of her dress even more. Her hands, she noticed dully, where red too. Had been lying on the ground.
The storm was gone. Everything was very clear now.

Haru Nenji sighed and turned his back at Miyu. I only killed those men, because I lost something important. And I now that it will never ever come back. .He then remembered something.

FLASHBACK
"Um wait for me okay , I'll just buy something be back in a minute".. He then dashed to the nearest store and bought an expensive dress and shoes. He then returned to the restaurant. " Can you wear this for me? So that we can look good on our first date "
“That looks so expensive.......“
Now she was feeling really bad about toying with his feelings. Even though she hadn't wanted to do so to begin with. And it felt even worse to have to turn him down.
“I'm sorry, and I will wear the dress if you want me to, but I really can't wear the shoes...“
“Wha... aaah... Please, can we... uhm...“ She turned to the waiter.
“I... I mean, can you show me the ladies restroom? I want to change.“
She hurried to the restroom to change.
Suddenly Haru carried Miyu to a romantic moonlight
Wh-What?“ Miyu was a little confused about Haru suddenly barging in and carrying her off. And she slowly began to ask herself what made him think that she couldn't walk on her own.
“Uhm, okay.“ She was quiet for some time, then she finally asked him.
“Why? After all the money you spend on the dress, why do you want to go where no one can see it?“ She didn't know ho much Haru knew about the Shichibukai, or if that was the reason, but she hadn't ever thought that he would be the person to run away from one.
" Well sort of, I had a sudden change of plans. Oh of course I would not want to let anyone see you, I might get jealous. Uh Miyu, can you travel with me?". Haru then blushed a little and hugged Miyu. He then whispered "I'll protect you forever with all my heart and soul".

Haru then smiled at Miyu I guess I can't protect you forever with all my heart and soul now huh? . He seemed smiling but he knew that it was such a pain.

When Seppy's brain regained it's higher functions, he found himself crouching on a roof overlooking the water. His eyes fixed on the reflection of the sun on the water, a brilliant yellow puddle of fire rippling on a sea that seemed brilliant and dark at the same time. The mesmerizing tranquility shattered in an instant as Seppy recalled what had happened, where he was.

"Nya...I wonder why that guy is t'her. I thought I was bein' nice..."

For the life of him, Seppy couldn't figure out why she had shaken him off, treated him like a nuisance. He'd only done what he thought would make her happy. Saving those wounded strangers, that couldn't have upset her...could it? Seppy wondered if he might have misunderstood her.

Again the pirate's mind went back to the moment she had closed her eyes, shutting him out. She'd turned around, she'd pushed away his hand. Every instinct Seppy had said that you touched people to reassure them; feline and human alike took that as a sign of comfort. And he'd offered...

Seppy sat bolt upright, his spine straight as a rail. His eyes were wide open, his pupils narrow slits. His jaw gapped open, realization taking form on his lips as he mouthed a single word.

"Oh," he stated regretfully.

While his only intention had been to stop the crazy sword guy from killing anyone else, Miyu might have thought he was still trying to hunt. Perhaps she'd misunderstood; perhaps he'd miscommunicated...perhaps anything, but certainly the message hadn't been clear. Not much longer than a day ago Seppy had promised to become a pirate, so he could stay with her. The next, he was talking about turning one in.

Growling at his own stupidity, Seppy's spine bent as he crowched low and stared angrily at the rooftop beneath him. He knew that he wasn't, by most normal standards, a smart individual. Still, Seppy raged internally at his haste in blaming Miyu.

"She musta thought I went back on my promise..."

There was no way she could want anything to do with the murderous sword guy...and even if she somehow did, it didn't matter. The promise was fresh off his lips, and nobody'd stop him from keeping it. Seppy would stay with her as long as they were both pirates.

Sticking his nose to the air, Seppy picked up her scent. His pupils dilated in shock when he discovered her location; she was in one of the streets adjacent to the building he was on. Letting out a quiet, catlike laugh, Seppy turned around and ran to the far edge of the roof. Apparently, even his animal instincts refused to let him leave her side.

"I guess I can't protect you forever with all my heart and soul now huh?"

"Y'failed at that the momen' y'decided t'slash up a few dozen people righ' infronna her," Seppy growled, dropping back to the ground by Miyu. His sable boots made no sound, barely even disturbed the puddle of blood as he landed. Smiling at his partner, he reached towards her again, once more driven instinctively to comfort her. This time, however, his hand stopped short. He had something else to do first.

"Mew doesn' need yer kinda protection. She's gotta heart that jus' wants t'see the world smile. She doesn'," Seppy stated firmly, rising to his feet, "wanna see pools a blood 'n' piles a corpses."

Standing between Miyu and Haru, Seppy smiled and leaned forward, his arms hanging at his side, his bent spine and front-listing posture giving him a distinctly feral look. The backpack on his shoulders writhed slightly.

"Mew, I didn' mean t'say anythin' like 'm after bounnies er anythin'," Seppy explained. "I was jus' tryin' t'stop any more killin', keep ya happy." A moment's pause.

"Y'take yer time with this guy," said Seppy, at last, turning around and offering Miyu his hand; this time, he only extended it halfway. She could take it, or reject it, as she chose. Smiling down brightly at her, Seppy's eyes closed and he tilted his head to the side slightly.

"Whatever y'wanna do, my promise ain' changin'. I'm stayin' with ya."

"Seppy..."
No, it wasn't some kind of weird dream, he was really there. He was really back.
A mixture of disbelief and happyness filled her. A very confusing mixture.
It made her wonder whether to cry or smile now. Not that she had any control over it. Obviously she was already doing a bit of both, yet none fully.
But she did have control over her hand taking his without any doubt.
"Thank you... for coming back."

(heeere we go again... Man, Miyu's such a thankful person.)

Haru Nenji just smiled at them both. He turned around and threw all of his swords in the deck. He then sat near the steering wheel. I guess it is just you and me huh Miyu? . He said as he holds the wheel. He was talking to the ship. I guess even if I didn't fought those people, Miyu will not come back. She will just be, a memory. . Haru was smiling but tears are coming down his face. He then shouted loudly as his voice echoed through the whole ship

Seppy nodded, then frowned a bit.

"I can' figger it out..." he complained, pulling Miyu to her feet and then retracting his hand, only to scratch his head with it a moment later. "I never useta get so mad all th'time..."

Quickly reverting to a smile, he shrugged.

"Anyways, dude split. We sh'd probably split, too...marines'll be comin' t'see what happened here..."

Seppy paused as soon as he spoke the words, his face leveling out for a minute. A moment later, he doubled over in laughter.

"Nyaaaah hah hah! Oh...'M sorry..." Seppy wiped a few tears of laughter from his eyes, then promptly resumed. It was a little while before he calmed himself down.

"This is...nyah hah! This is my firs' time runnin' from th'marines. Not like avoidin' 'em last time, to go get you, but runnin' from 'em!" Closing his eyes, Seppy's smile stretched ear to ear, his gleaming white feral teeth making the gesture as frightening as it is friendly.

"I feel more like a real pirate, now!"

Miyu couldn't bring herself to more than a tired smile, even upon seeing how hilarious being chased seemed to be to Seppy.
"You'll get used to it..."
...and then it becomes your all day life. Kind of sad, thinking about it. Having an all day life that included people wanting you dead. Didn't leave you much time for making friends, mostly.
She looked at Seppys smile, his sharp teeth, and wondered if he ever had friends... He had told her he had siblings, but friends? Maybe he had been in love once... She wondered if he was capable of love... Of course he was! She felt a little sting in her heart, thinking about what a life not being able to love would look like.
She pushed the thoughts away for the moment, time was short. She'd have all the time she'd need later.
"Okay, when do we meet up again?"

Seppy stood and thought for a moment, his smile fading as his brain tried to work out the best answer for the question.

"Now. Righ' now," he answered. "'M stayin' with you 'till we're on th'ship..."

Twisting his head sideways a bit, then back straight, his eyes were fixed on Miyu.

"Somethin' tells me t'day's not a good day t'split up."

"Hmmm?"
Miyu tilted her head as well, a slightly confused look on her face.
"Well, okay."
She looked around to the mess on the street, then back to Seppy.
"We should still hurry, though."

Haru Nenji wipes off his tears and stood up. He then looked at the village at Water 7 and spoke. The past is the past, there is nothing we can do to bring it back. Get ready for the revival of the Garuda Pirates! .

Seppy nodded, wondering why exactly a stop by Water 7 had ever seemed like a good idea. So close to the World Government base...

"Ey, Mew?" Seppy inquired, turning his head to look at her over his shoulder as he walked, bumping his way past several then-angry streetgoers. "Where d'ya wanna go? I mean, like, jus' wannering fer now? Ya got a goal, er dreams er anythin'?"

Turning his head back forward, he continued walking along with his odd loping stride, half-bent at the small of the back. Occasionally, though, his ears would twitch and his head would tilt the slightest bit back for a moment, as if the answer were something he didn't want to miss.

Just then a large man blocked Miyu's pathway. You are one of the Garuda Pirates aren't you? Where is Haru Nenji? We have captured the bartender and the ship seller that you both knew and will kill them until you bring Haru and yourself to me. HAHAHA

Seppy freed the hostages, like a boss. Seppy took Miyu and got onto a ship, like a boss. He then departed the island...

Like a boss.
