Lizyette vs Manjus

Lizyette had been tailing this one for a while. The fishwoman had her hands full with Manjus Twilla. She reached him on the plain and called out.
"Manjus Twilla of the Anubis Pirates. Come quietly and I will not be forced to harm you!" She really didn't expect a response. But it was worth a try. She put one hand into her bag and drew her sword with the other.

Manus turned around quickly. "You? Harm me? If you can catch me, perhaps." He jumped into the air, using Soar to get higher up, and began jumping around above Lizyette. He was prepping for an attack.

Lizyette couldn't fly, but she had a very good method of attack for this situation. She took three metal balls out of her bag and started rubbing them in her right hand. She aimed and chucked one at Manjus as he zagged through the air. The other two followed in quick succession, all charged with electricity.

"Bahaha!" Manus laughed, dodging the three spheres easily. "You throw like your arm is broken!" He stopped using Soar, dropping to a managable height, quickly following up with a Glide and kick aimed for Lizyette's throat.

"Bad comparison! My bones are flexible enough!" Lizyette snapped back as she readied her sword. Her throwing arm was perfectly fine. Manjus soared down at her. She crouched down into a stance and cut towards the incoming foot, aiming to slice a great cut into the foot.

The cut redirected Manus, forcing him off target. He kicked off the sword, backflipping and landing right side up. He crouched and dashed up to Lizyette, aiming a sweeping kick at her legs, using his hands to prepare for a handstand/defensive kick.

Just as Manjus jumped, Lizyette twirled the sword and as he kicked again at his legs, her sword was ready. She stabbed down at the incoming foot, this time to the thigh, away from the boot, as the foot approached.

Manus had braced himself against the ground with his arms, lifting himself up and using his free foot to kick the sword in a different direction. His legs dropped to the ground, and he pulled them back into himself, standing up and preparing for a defense.

Lizyette moved into stance again and brought up the sword. She drove it down on her enemy, rising up to her full height and taking advantage of her 9'3 stature. Leveraging for more power.

Manus jumped back to avoid the attack, going to a hand stand and firing off a Protect the Nest, angling the circle a bit so that the air would go for Lizyette's throat.

Lizyette bent backwards with her inhuman flexibility to avoid the slice, and immediately moved back into position, jumping at Manjus. She extended to her full stature midair and brought her sword down in a downward slash.

Manus dashed to the side to avoid it, going for another kick at Lizyette's legs.

Lizyette jumped backwards, bending her legs double to get more power, jumping a good distance away. Midair, she picked inside her bag and took a few balls. She threw them in a whiplike motion, sending one at Manjus' head, one at his chest and one at his legs.

Manus twisted, kicking off the air and shooting a fair distance away. He landed light on his feet, frowning. His opponent was good. Pity her fighting style didn't base itself in Devil Fruits. It wasn't likely he would beat her. He decided to rest and wait for her to come for him.

Lizyette moved forwards, picking more balls. She flicked three at Manjus from her left hand, chucking them at his head as she jumped fowards for a diagonal slash at Manjus' left shoulder.

Manus dove to the side, diving out of the way of the slash and spheres. Yet another Protect the Nest was fired off, this time aimed for her legs.

Lizyette crouched down and sliced in an upward slash at the incoming' protect the nest'. Her strike forced it to the air, away from her. She leaped at Manjus once more, raising the sword up and bringing it down and Manjus' chest. "Surrender!"

"Like hell I will!" Manus was still in a handstand, so he kicked the sword away before following up with a kick to Lizyette's side.

Lizette bent backwards from her torso, allowing the kick to sweep harmlessly past her. She snapped back, keeping the sword in her right hand and throwing a punch at Gael's head with her left.

Manus brought his foot down in a sweeping motion at Lizette's arm, and he then backflipped away from her, standing up straight, breathing more heavily than he would want to.

Lizyette snapped her arm back, and backflipped to get away. She landed in a stance and moved at Manjus once more, slashing at him in a two handed two handed blow. This was keeping on way too long.

Manus once again made a sweeping high kick to deflect the sword. "I think it's about time I withdrew to my captain. Goodbye." Manus jumped into the air, using Soar and Glide to return to Anubis.

Lizyette chucked a few electrified spheres after Manjus but it was hopeless. She couldn't catch him. Another bounty lost. She sheathed her sword and turned to leave.
