Serious : Red Heart Pirates [pt.2] : To the Grand Line and Onto Jellyfish Island

Van took this chance and ran inside, before the guards could see. He made it to a staircase going down.

"SHould I follow?" he asked himself.

He decided to. He slowly walked down the stairs, in case more guards were at the bottom.

He Looked around and saw but 1 guard. Shaking in fear.

"Why'd they have to leave me here? I'm not as strong as them." the guard said to himself.

Van didn't see a threat, he decided to beat him and be on his way. He ran up to the guard, who slowly turned around, hearing footsteps. In a sign of fear, he held up his gun, but his shaking caused him to drop it. Van saw this chance and punched the guard, knocking him out. Not wanting to waste any time, he ran to the next stairway.

((Sorry!! I think we need more people in our crew... D: Going to the Grandline with three people is kinda weird lol))

The stranger with the red eyes on ground level dropped the child in his hand when Ajax punched him. "I see. You managed to punch me," he growled, rubbing his chin where he was punched. The man disappeared behind the scenery and quietly pulled out the two katanas he had on his back. Suddenly, from behind, he slashed at Ajax.

Another stranger started setting up explosives in Van's way on the stairway. "The boss told me not to do anything, but this is too fun," he chuckled quietly in the darkness.

Ajax wasn't about to let anyone stab, alash, or otherwise hurt him. He was the one doing the hurting. Always had been.
When he heard something behind him, he turned around automatically, his fingerprints already changed.
He touched both Katanas for just one second, leaving nice, blue prints behind and balled his fist again, ready for another punch, too fast to block or dodge for most humans, to the face. Nothing satisfied him wuite as much as punching someones face in did. Nothing but smashing someones... But that's another story.

Van started running down the stairs.

"WHere's is the captain?" he asked himself.

He noticed something on the stairs, but it was too late. He was directly above it.

The bombs on the stairs exploded, causing the whole thing to collapse. The strange man who set up the bomb laughed quietly to himself, with small explosives in his hands and ready to blow up whatever was left of the man.

The man with the red eyes noticed his katanas stopping the moment the man touched it. "A devil fruit user, huh?" he laughed, starting to enjoy the fight and the thrill. He spotted the man's fist roll up into a ball and realizing that it was too fast for him to avoid normally, he sneezed. The force of his sneeze, sent his body flying back to avoid the punch. He grinned. "You're not the only devil fruit user here, boy," he mocked.

Sudden the ground shook with the sound of explosions coming from underground. "Damn Basco is ruining the whole base," he cursed. "What's your name, boy? I want to know the name of the man who actually let me enjoy the fight before he die."

Nabie froze for a moment when the whole place shook and small pieces of rocks and soil fell from the "ceiling." "Is the place caving in? I better hurry."

Van lifted himself up. The explosion hurt, but the fall wasn't that bad. He looked around for the culprit. He grabbed his guns.

"Show yourself." he demanded

Ajax, for a second, appeared like he hadn't been listening at all. His face just said "aaawkward..." while he wiped his hand on his trousers, just to make sure there was nothing on it.
"Man, you catapulted yourself through sneezing? That's so laaame."
The expression on his face was a mixture between awkwardness and ture disappointment. Then it went to its normal expression of burning anger mixed with a weird kind of seriousness again. Obviously, he had just realised that he hadn't punched the guy.
"I'm Ajax Sinclair, and like hell you'll kill me! You'll see you little..."
The shaking and crumbling was ignored. Punching a guy was way more important than...Wait! Nabie was in the building!
So what? The marine won't mind if a pirate dies. And you, Sinclair, are a marine. Don't you forget about that over some girl.
Damn that voice and its godlike logic! It was right though.
He gritted his teeth and spoke without really opening them.
"Let's make this quick!"

Basco laughed in the darkness, teasing Van. Suddenly, he dashed from one side of the room to the other, attaching several small explosives on the man's sleeves.

Werade laughed. "You know why my eyes are so red?" he questioned. Suddenly, a fog of pepper entered the area Ajax and the man was in. The pepper would sting any men's eyes and throat.

Nabie heard someone crying in the distance. She approached it and found the child she was looking for and two elderly people. "Are you guys alright? I'll get you out of here." She kicked at the iron bar door and it loosened, falling to one side. "Come on. Let's go."

"What's..."
Actually, he had wanted to say something along the lines of "What's this f*cking sh*t about?", but the rest of the sentence was swallowed by his coughing. Under his sunglasses, his eyes started tearing. That was so unmanly!
"What did you do, you cunt?"

Van noticed something on his sleeve. It was the bombs on the stairs. He quickly threw off his coat. Watching it explode.

"I loved that coat." he said, starting to shoot in all directions.

Gorefish

The pepper man grinned. "I ate the Pepper Pepper Fruit which is why my eyes are so red. Now... get ready to dieee." He rushed at the man, attempting to kicked him in various places.

Genshi

The bomb man avoided most of the bullets. One or two slightly grazed his jacket. He pulled out several more bombs and threw it at the man.

flinthow went down to his torture chamber to see if his toy was still alive but when he got down he saw that the marine had completly decayed and it reaked so he picked him up and threw him over board then he saw an island and thought yes an island i can restock and get a new toy as he docked he released his anchor. Flinthow wandered into the town looking for something to drink and a toy to as he got of his ship. flinthow noticed nothing of interest so he decided to go to the pub for something to drink as he walked through the town picking up a more nails ,throwing knives and wire. As he walked into the pub he asked the barkeeper" a glass bottle of water please and dont ask why".

Ajax felt the tears streaming down his face. That was the moment his anger started burning worse than the pepper ever could have.
All ten of his fingerprints had formed already.
One hand grabbed the mans leg, trying to kick him, with the other, he grabbed his throat. That'd hurt. A lot.
With all his strengh, Ajax threw him away, towards a wall, leaving red fingerprints on the areas his fingers had touched.

(reminder: red fingerprints mean explosive impact. One is like a punch, figure what ten are.)

Van saw the bombs in the air. He shot the bullets at them.

"Quit your hiding. Come out and fight." he said.

Van then came up with an Idea. He ran into the shadows to hide himself. Hopefully he was hidden well enough until he found his ennemy.

A small rowboat bumped up against the dock. A young boy sat slumped over the oars. A curious fisherman walked towards the boat and looked down at the boy.

"Hey!" he called. "Are you alright?" When there was no response the fisherman jumped down into the boat to check the boy. What he found horrified him. The boy was barely breathing. His unexperienced hands were covered in blood from rowing for far too long. The fisherman could see the boy's lips were moving and miraculously, his eyes were still open, but he wasn't able to actually say anything. The fisherman looked over his shoulder and called out, "Joe! Fred! Help me over here!" Two more fisherman approached the boat.

"What is it, Robert?" Fred asked. "Whoa...is that kid still alive?"

"Yeah, but only just," Robert replied. "Help me get him out of here!"

Joe, who was by far the biggest of the three men, reached down to take the boy from Robert, who was lifting him up from below. Joe lifted the boy up gently in his arms and held him like a baby. The boy's lips were still moving, but this time small sounds could be heard coming from him.

"What is it?" Joe asked in a deep, but calming voice. He lowered his ear to the boy's mouth.

"Please...kill...me," the boy whimpered. "It...hurts..."

"No," Joe replied sternly. "You are not going to die." He turned and ran off with the boy, taking him as quickly as possible to the town's doctor.

Van managed to grab his coat. Seeing the holes and remembering the bomb mans actions. He grabbed his gun and looked around, wondering where his opponent was.

"Man, I just entered the grand line and I will not lose my first fight." he thought to himself.

Van put on his coat and jumped in the air. While airborne he started spinning, shooting in all directions.

"Die already."

flinthow went outside the pub and noticed someone heavily wounded was being carried off then laughed to himself "no one needs pain but its funny when it happens" flinthow wandered around town just looking he had secured the drunk only a little water then he poured out the rest onto the pavement securing the bottle to his belt. looking around town for a marine they are the most fun to torture talking to himself "how they scream , how they threaten you and how they talk about a bounty on your head" flinthow didnt care about bounties

"What's wrong with him, doctor?" Robert asked. It had taken him and Fred a couple of minutes longer to reach the doctor's. They had stayed behind to clean up their stuff and put it away so that no one could just walk by and steal it.

"His condition is stable," the doctor said. "The boy's injuries are light. He had an open cut across the back of one hand that looks like it came from a sword and both of his hands are torn open from rowing hard. He was also low on water, but he wasn't quite dehydrated yet. We have already given him some water and he drank it so that should not be a problem. His main problem is that he's just completely exhausted. Right now he's asleep and will probably stay that way for several hours."

"Thank you," Robert breathed a sigh of relief.

"Did he say anything to you?" the doctor asked. "Do you know who he is?"

Robert shook his head, but Joe, who had been standing off to the side, stepped forward. "He asked me something," Joe said. "It was a request. He asked me to kill him."

((I guess if no one else wants to post, then I will. I want to mainly get through this whole part of Uddo arriving before you guys get finished with your battle.))

The boy sat up shocking Joe, who had been sitting by his bed for the last fifteen minutes. "Where...am I?" the boy asked.

"You're at the doctor's house," Joe explained. "What's your name? Don't tell me if it hurts to speak."

"I can speak," the boy said. "My name is Uddo Fukuhon. What's yours?"

"Joe Jones," Joe replied.

Uddo cocked an eyebrow. "JJ?"

Joe laughed. "That pretty much sums it up. Although I haven't been called that since I was a boy about your age," he said. "How old are you anyway?"

"I'm fifteen," Uddo told him.

"What were you doing out there?" Joe asked. "Were you running away from home?"

Uddo hung his head. "Kind of," he said. "I...got mixed up with some pirates. They were just friends, it wasn't like I was a part of their crew or anything, but then some marines came along and thought I was a pirate. So, I ran away and ended up here. Where is here? The island, I mean."

"This is Jellyfish Island," Joe told him. "Look, I won't hold the thing about pirates against you, but you should probably keep that quiet. Not everyone is so kind towards them."

"Right..." Uddo nodded. He slumped back on the bed. "I feel so...tired all of a sudden."

"Then rest," Joe said. "Sleep for as long as you need to. I'll be right here if you ever need anything."

"Thank...you..." Uddo's voice drifted off and soon he was fast asleep.

flinthow walked up the street then climbed and building and walked on that wandering if there was any marines or anyone strong enough or just looked like someone that would make a good toy

Van waited. The tension was murder.

" Is it possible I missed? Is this guy waiting for me to make a move?" he thought to himself.

he sat down and awaited his opponents next move.

flinthow was running and jumping around then he saw a tower then he thought there must be someone in there that would be a perfect candidate

flinthow walked into the tower and saw all the gaurds were already uncouncious so he just walked past them and looked inside there was an entrance room and behind that there some stairs so flinthow decided to go on the stairs.

((Since this crew is so inactive, I'm not going to be joining up after all. Sorry nanuen1.))

Uddo awoke. Joe was sleeping in the chair next to his bed. Despite all of Joe's reassurances that he would be safe, Uddo didn't want to stick around and find out. He leaned over and tapped Joe on the knee, waking him up.

"How are you doing?" Joe asked, after he had blinked the sleep from his eyes.

"I'm fine," Uddo replied. "In fact, I feel great!" He hopped out of bed and stood on shaky legs.

"Take it easy!" Joe caught him as he stumbled. "Look, sit down and test your legs. I'll go get the doctor. If he says your okay then I'll take you wherever you want to go, unless it is off the island.

The doctor gave Uddo a once over and then declared him healthy. Within ten minutes, Uddo was walking fine again. He wanted to leave the island so Joe took him down to the docks and gave him a small boat, as well as a few provisions to eat. After saying his goodbyes and think yous, Uddo was gone, rowing off into the distance.
