Serious : Life is never that simple, The pheonix squad get acquainted with some new enemies and some new friends ( CLOSED)

Grey looked at Nishki, answering his question,"Actually, no operation or anything major took place. A simple bar fight, Kakura was being difficult, and the fight escalated into a marksman trying to kill me. I think Kakura, being so incompetent at his job, did not have knowledge that his bar contained pirates, or should I say bad pirates, who just adore killing any marine they see."

Jissly thought to herself,-That is what happened huh, Grey was shot by a marksman. Doesn't seem like a random attack to me.-

Grey looked at Jissly as he started to move, he explained to her,"You need to work on your ability, is starting to lack its potency."

Jissly quickly responded," Yeah I need to work on that a little more."

Nishki was curious "I see, but what are agents doing all the way out here if not for a mission? I would like to know, alot of men under my command are on this island...."

Jissly laughed," I came here just to chill. I guess this is the marine/agent hangout island." Grey responded,"I guess I can agree to what Jissly just said, coincidentally this seems to be the place to relax......Men? You have subordinates? I thought you were alone on this island." Grey looked confused, why wasn't his subordinates with him.

Nishki laid back on his chair "I gave my men the day off, to go have fun and what not, and i wanted to look around the island and partake in some whiskey which i treasure........ and then all this and im here...."

A bar! Finally, she had begun to think there wasn't any bar on this island.
But now, she seemed to have found the right street: bars everywhere.
Now, what should she do...
"I wonder where Jackson is..."
She said to herself. He wasn't really a drinker, he only drank water... But hey, he was a good pal.
"Captain!"
Ah, of course he ought to pop up behind her when she called... Typical...
"Right the guy I was looking for! It's been a long time since we had a drink!"
She dragged him into the bar. Man, he really was so stuck up sometimes...

Kakura woke up, a fly perched on his nose, allowing him to fully awake. Kakura asked Nishki,"Oh really now. You like to drink whiskey. Then I challenge you to a DRINK OFF! If your interested, I swear if Grey didn't enter the bar, then we would have had this earlier."

Grey ignored Nishki, as he maintained his conversation with Nishki without lecturing Kakura," I see, then would you allow me to become one of your subordinates for experience and marine accolades. I would be honored to serve a vice admiral, though I have a problem with authority, I'll try to avoid it."

Jissly looked at Grey with confusion, she then remarked,"Why? Don't you have enough experience, why abandon your former position?"

Grey answered Jissly's question,"A simple opportunity to gain some well needed accolades, plus I need to observe what it takes to be a vice admiral."

Nishki thought about this carefully and then looked at Grey, it was pratically required that whoever joined his team must have had an extensive knowledge and mindset as well as some talent. "Well Grey, i have two questions for you, firstly , what are you skill set and abilities, im sue you have heard about the pheonix squad, we are famous and have been involved in grand battles at the front line against all sorts of monsters...... like the other month, we took on the yonkou at enies lobby.... Anubis....."

Kakura looked a Nishki in shock. "Anubis! wow! That is impressive. Amazing!I have heard about the Pheonix squad....but,WOW! Kakura was speechless in awe and admiration.

Grey smiled, He responded with an attitude of a complete show off. He grabbed the giant blade next to him. The black leather straps started to descend unsheathing the blade."This blade is Known as Harugan. It was rumored to be held by a powerful admiral. And it has been passed down to me. I acquired it when I was twelve. It has been refined a great deal. I am a experienced swordsman in my own way. I have battled many pirates in my day, and I have battled many monsters as well. For example, when I was twelve, I assassinated a powerful pirate by the name of Scovioan."

Jissly added to the conversation,"He's also quite fast and possesses a large amount of stamina, though Kakura also possesses those same qualities. He also seems to have an abnormal amount of reflexes. When we first met I tried to bite him from behind and he judo flipped me. He is also quite merciless. Though, as you can see from his wound, he is far from invincible." As Jissly was talking, Grey smashed his sword against the glass. the glass shattered like a piano crashing into it. The tiny shards spreading around the room.

Grey looked back at Nishki," Actions speak louder than words, so how was that for you?"

Nishki smiled "ok, second and final question, what is your stance on justice Grey?" Nishki was impressed he was able to do all that while injured, no doubt the doctors would be pissed.

Grey responded,"I am not subservient to my superiors. I am not into strict rules and order. I am not into social heirarchies or anything like that. I see everyone as equals. Everyone possesses a choice in this world. Freewill is what makes us human. Anyone can be corrupt or sanctified based on what choices they make. Though I believe in second chance, people sometimes perform the most corrupt and hideous acts based on confusion, revenge, envy, the list goes on. Though anyone has the choice to rehabilitate themselves from their corruption their demons. My standpoint on justice is that choices effect who we are, and that we are all born equal. We all possess the talent and all we need to do is strike for our goals. We need to find ourselves, find the reason for our existence. Though,............. I have not found that yet myself. Which is why I want to be part of what you are representing, you seem selfless, as you came to see if I was all right and that was you choice, to express sincerity and show that you care."

Nishki paused for a minute and then laughed hard "GEAHAAAHAHAHAAAHAAH, you are a real funny on Grey, especially using so many impact words....... ok you are in if you want..... you may join my team.... we need more talent after a few people i had over the years suddenly have just gone and set up new groups and trying to make impacts......"

Kakura also started to laugh, He belived Grey was trying to impress. Grey looked confused and turned a blind eye, he rolled his eyes....disturbed. Jissly smiled, she had two sides to Grey's argument, she believed that he was trying to find himself, explaining his confusing actions lately, though he also believed that Grey possessed something so non-emotionless in his speech.

Kakura spoke,"Whats up with the lack of emotion in your speech, you have me convinced that you just made that up."

Grey ignored Kakura, -Interesting, this will grant me with some well needed experience- He touched his flesh wound in pain. Falling down on the bed, in agony.

Kakura looked at Grey, he then said,"It be best that he gets some rest" Kakura got up from his chair proceeding out of the room, as he looked back at Jissly, expecting she will follow.

Nishki looked around "very well...... what is his issue anyway? seems like a funny guy, haha"

Jissly stood up, she followed Kakura out of the room, answering Nishki's question with a smile,"Well, I'm assuming he's quite enthusiastic about joining your group. Though, he never displays any emotion, it may seem like he doesn't care but he kinda does. Or he wouldn't have asked. Anyways, I have to get back to my job." Jissly started to skip, she was always the odd one.

Suddenly there was some noise in the town. Nishki looked out side "that noise was cannon fire...... what the hell is going on....Im heading into the town, it seems more people making mischief!!.Nishki jumped onto the window ledge "Grey, you can stay here and rest, when you are feeling better, come to the pheonix battle squad ship, you cant miss it..... ill go deal with the mess,...... "

Nishki turned into a fully fledged blue pheonix and let out a bird cry and flew in a blaze of blue fire to the town

Grey observed the elegance of Nishki as he transformed into a bird. He thought-a devil fruit user? Eh- Grey also watched as he flew out of the window, the blue flamers around his body, the look of a phoenix surrounding him like armor. The devil fruit he possessed looked quite rare. Kakura and Jissly also started at the majestic bird outside of the hospital, they were in awe. They did not have any idea that Nishki possessed such power.

there was a big commotion in the town, A group of pirates who had arrived much earlier in the town was making a lot of noise and trouble. One of them kicked over the table "OII!! We ordered chicken and you bring me fish?!!!!! Ill kill you you stupid bastard!!!" the pirate took out his knife waving it at the defenseless Waiter who was near tears "Im so sorry sir!!!ill change it please forgive me!!!" The pirate laughed "Sorry is a dirty word to me you fool,only your death will appease me!!!" The other pirates were laughing, disturbing the women nearby and one began stealing things from the other shops nearby .The pirate then announced "This town is ours,you people are far too relaxed here,you will pay us taxes, AHAHHAAHAHHAHAAHHAHAHAAH"

In a distance however, a blue pheonix was landing, its talons slammed straight down on the pirate who was announcing this,smashing him to the floor. the pheonix looked around and slowly turned to human mode in front of the confused pirates. The pirates were all screaming "What the hell is that?!!! Who is that?!!!!! Damn he got the captain in one hit!!!!!" The human form was fully shown with blazes and embers of blue fire going out slowly revealing vice admiral Nishki who said "Now, who wants to explain the situation here?"

Talitha sighed and got up from the chair she had been sitting on before the pirate had started to shout something about chicken.
...And here she had thought she'd have a free day...
She looked around and..Nishki!
"Jackson, come on!"
It only took her two leaps in full lynx form to get to Nishkis side and two seconds to change back to human form.
"It looks like this gentleman ordered chicken, but got fish. His reaction to it was to threaten this poor man..."
She pointed to the waiter.
"...And a few others, as well, rob stores and announce this town to be theirs. Man, don't wanna know what would've happened if he had brought them soup instead..."

Grey looked down, trying to track the vice admiral with his eyes through the broken window. Though the distance was too great. He could barely see Nishki in the diverse and entangled crowd.

Kakura and Jissly were still walking, curious tot he commotion, seeing a bunch of pirates making a mess of things, though like a savior of the night, Nishki was there to sort things out. Kakura admired the beauty and power of Nishki's devil fruit , while Jissly was curious as to why these pirates were so much like the ones in the past. Jissly, wanted to partake in the rumble, but it was nothing that a vice admiral could not handle. Jissly and Kakura stood from afar to see how the Pheonix squad handled situations.

Nishki saw Talitha and smiled "Always on the scene first eh Tali? Well, should i take care of them or should you? its obvious to me that they are not good pirates...... we cant allow them to taint this town any further with their vile ways...."

One of the pirates fell down and stuttered "i..ttsss....... its...... VICE ADMIRAL NISHKI!!!!!!!!!!" the pirates looked shocked "oi,oi,what is he doing so far away from marineford......." Another pirates eyes widened "Damn, the marine hero Nishki... we are in trouble man!!!!" The other pirate "Isnt that girl next to him, that girl who beat one of the famous rebel leaders in Arabasta and beat a Anubis pirate commander......." The pirates began backing off slowly till one of them said "dont be so scared!!!! what marine hero? that power of his is fearsome, but there are more of us, and we can outnumber him and win!!!!" The pirates looked more cheerful after that.

"How about one half for you, and one for me?"
Talitha changed into hybrid form. She was ready to attack, all she needed was the order to. Oh, screw orders.
She leaped forward into the crowd of pirates and began doing what she did best.

Jissly had seen another one come to the scene. She was a lynx, like Jissly and Admiral Nishki, she was also a zoan. She began to engage battle with the pirates as Jissly had a smirk on her face. Kakura thought that the pirates were idiotic for believing that they could take on a vice admiral by themselves. The pirates didn't look like much of a threat.

Nishki didnt really need to do anything , Talitha was ripping the pirates to shreds with little effort, he watched her do all this. The pirates were fleeing for their lives "What the hell is this woman!!!!!!!?" The pirates were starting to run away when Nishki used soru and shigan madara without moving a step foward sending a wave of pirates down in an instant.

Grey looked out of the broken, window, he sighed as another figure seemed to be eradicating other figures. To Grey they looked like ants. The ones who suffered looked like pigs to the slaughter. Grey looked to his wound. He recklessly pushed himself, to get out of the bed. He didn't care about his body, he had more intent on getting out of the hospital, he was naturally recalcitrant, never paying heave to advice and authority. A few minutes later, the nurse came to the room. She was shocked to see Grey was gone.

Nishki stood over a pie of pirate bodies. Nishki didnt kill them, but they were unconscious. He then adjusted his cap "Tali, once you are done with that batch over there, take care of these ones over here..... its impel down for these ones........." A pirate attacked from behind on Nishki , Nishki sighed at this "I give you a chance to run away and you try to kill me...... TEKKAI!!" The sword broke in half and Nishki turns around and clotheslines the pirate to the ground with force "Why cant you people reason?"
