Serious : Red Heart Pirates [pt.1] : The Pirate Town

"All right!"
This actually rocked! He'd get to kick the shit out of his comrades and pretend it's all for camouflage and stuff....
Now he was really looking forward to that!
"Well, come on Slycer, let's get started! That one's mine!"
He pointed at a random ship. What did it matter? They wouldn't fight him for real anyway.

Van got up.

“Five minutes, that's plenty of time, afterwards in can finally get some sleep." He said taking out his guns.

"I would also like to know what these guys are capable of." he thought.

"i'll take that other one." he pointed at a different ship.

"Right, just don't interfere with mine!"
With that, the marine ship was close enough for him to jump over to.
And jump he did. Landed right in the middle of them, too.
"Helloooo there guys. I'm Ajax Sinclair and... DON'T you dare salute!"
He sighed. The others shouldn't be able to hear him, but they could still see.
He grabbed the poor man who had almost given in to his reflexes and slammed him to the ground head first.
"Seriously, be professional for once!"
He cracked his knuckels.
"I mean, all you have to do is be defeated easily."
His fingerprints changed.

Van jumped on a different ship. Holding his guns he looked at the marines.

"We can do thi the easy way or the hard way." he said.

At that, the marines raised their guns.

"I prefer the hard way too." he said, raising his guns.

Although she didn't want to fight and just watch the other two, Nabie noticed that the marines on one of the other ships started getting ready to attack seeing that the other marine ships were getting attacked. She quickly jumped onto the ship and kicked one of the cannon so it wasn't pointing at her new ship anymore.

"I don't want to fight, so just stay still and nothing will happen," she warned the marines, but her being on the ship just made them even more restless. Nabie was debating whether to just handle this quickly or take her time. "I said five minutes, so..." she decided to finish it quickly.

Pulling out a large pellet with small needles stuck in it, she pulled out a couple of needles. "Hallucination sounds good." She threw the needles, aiming at a couple of marines in the crowd.

Van started shooting in the crowd, taking out several marines. When they started shooting back, he jumped in the air.

"Say your prays, gentlemen." he said, shooting down a rain of bullets. Taking most of them out.

The ones he didn't hit were standing still in fear. Van aimed his guns at them, and they jumped overboard, fleeing for their lives. Van laughed at their cowardice.

"I wonder if they have some good weapons on board." he said, running inside, looking for their weapons.

The marines who were hit with the needle started screaming and attacking the other marines. Everybody on ship started panicking. Nabie didn't know exactly what they were seeing, but that was the typical response to the hallucination pellet.

Van came running out with 2 big bags. One with Food and another with weapons. There was a smaller bag filled with gunpowder.

"I may aswell. The rest of these marines are to scared to fight." he thought, jumping back to the ship.

"I beat the time limit." he shouted.

Granted, he was cheating a little.
Most of the marines didn't even fight back, or only did it so that he wouldn't get hurt. The ones who were were obviously new and didn't know him yet. Lack of experience, taken out fast.
It didn't take him long until no one could move anymore.
He knew the contents of the ship. Nothing to worry about. And nothing worth taking except maybe some weapons. But who needed those.
Still, he went in and carefully placed his orders on the desk of their captain. They'd only be a burden if anyone found them.
He jumped back to his new ship, only to see he wasn't first. Well, damn!
And why him? His presence made him mad!

Van was napping, but he woke up when he heard Ajax.

"Took you long enough." he said, taunting him, then fallin back to sleep.

Oh, he swore if it wouldn't be for that stupid order, he would...
But this way, Van Slycer wouldn't get the much deserved fight.
Oh, his fists were twitching so much! Only one serious fight against that guy, and he'd be content!
He turned to look at the marine ships. Where was his captain?
Not like he really cared if she got arrested, it'd only get him more free time.

Van's quiet sleeping, turned into a quiet snore. But while he napped, he started thinking.

"Can I trust this guy? He does seem to be on a search for people with large bounties. Is he a bounty hunter? Or even, a marine? I shouldn't sleep with him so close." he thought.

Van then woke up and looked at Ajax.

"I've been wondering, how did you stop my bullet?" he asked, taking out the bullet, the blue fingerprint still intact.

"Eh?"
Ajax stared at the bullet for some time, thinking about how to explain.
"I've eaten that devil fruit, see? Got it..."
By stealing it from one of his former crews...
"By winning in a fair fight for it. It lets me do some things with my fingerprints that enable me to do some other things and... look, it's complicated. I'm sure you'll get to witness it someday."
In case he got orders to arrest him, for example... Oh, what would he do to get those orders...

Nabie returned from the ship to find that the two men were already waiting for her. She glanced at the two ships the two fight in and smiled. "Let's get going," she said, pulling the sails down.

"Why of course, captain!"
The smile was back on his lips. There was no need to make more enemies here than he already had.
He started helping her with the sails. At least that he had learned in his years as a soldier...

"Good, we're off on an adventure." said Van, calm enough to finally sleep.

"And hopefully, this Ajax guy won't be causing us any trouble." he thought.
