The Adventure Begins; Molding of a Fine Crew

[This is only for the people in the boat out on sea which at the moment is being used by Drake and Trenton]

"So, any idea on what place to visit next? To find a Navigator ofcourse!!!" Trent said with his smile growing wider and wider.

"mmmm.... Well, how bout whatever island we come across next? I mean, we really have no other choice" Drake nawed on a piece of meat he had kept from the island.

Trenton stretches his arms out and turns towards Drake."Which direction? And we still need a name for the crew."

"Remember, I'm not actually in the crew, I'm just traveling with you for the time being..." Drake said. "I think we should go...."

He spun around in a random direction.

"That way!"

He blew out a tornado of wind he had stored like eight threads ago (see "Swordsman's true will" or something) at the sail, sending it flying west.

"Damn it, you never seem to stop amazing me... But hey you said you'd agree to be apart of the crew until you have to go fulfill something, oh and what was that something?"

"I said I'd travel with you,...." Drake said. He looked up at the sky, a large bird was swooping over head.

"Oh, hey, look! Dinner!"

Drake leaped on top of the mast, jumping unsuccesfully at the bird above. He whipped his chains up at it, barely hitting it. He wasn't very good at ranged aassault.

Trenton looked up at the boat and then at Drake with his mouth open wide with his eyes buldging out just as wide. "LUNCH?!?! I want ten servings of it!!!! It's huge." He said as a smile lit up his face.

Drake took one leap, landing on the beast and smashing its head in with the chains. As it fianted, it swerved down into the ocean, just missing the boat. He leaped back on, scared of the sea being a fruit user, and attempted to pull the bird on.

"Hey, do you think the bird will fit on the boat?" He said in a happy voice as he was in the mood for some food.

"Er... Not really." Drake said, seeing most of the birds body draped over the edge of the ship. "Oh well..."

He scooped up half of the bird, "breathing" it in. In an instant, the bird was gone, stored in the portal that was his lungs, granted by the ibuki ibuki no mi. The rest of the bird, Drake breathed the last of his stored fire to cook it, and began preparing the spices.

Trenton clapped a few times before letting out a smile."I'll eat and then steer towards an island! You take a rest for now." he said calmly as he would begin to drift foreward.

Drake finished broling the meat, and then handed half to Trenton. He began to feast.

A marine boat closes in on the area where Trent and Drake are. On the boat an officer is holding binocluars "Lieutenant Bierwick , there is some unknown ship in the area, i believe it is pirates sir!!" Bierwick was a large man, with a beard and a giant halbred, he got up. "Is that so? sound the sirens and inform the pirates to surrender....."

The sirens are sounded and the marines announce on loud speaker "Pirates you are advised to surrender, or we will destroy your ship!!!"

Trenton caught sight of the Marine ship and watched cautiously while eating the bird Drake had cooked. "Surrender? Destroy ship? This is a boat, ehh... Marines got very bad eyesight so I guess it's time to deal with them..Drake, sit here... You can join in later since I got something to capture... A new ship!" He said as he would leap out of the boat and then land on the ledge of the marine ship while drawing out his katana and holding it out. "I am Captain Trenton Steel, a pleasure to meet you all!"

The marines were shocked but then one marine shouted "Fire, fire all bullets!!!!"

The marine who was holding the binoculars saw the boat "Ohh, damn binoculars!!"

The marines fire their guns at Trent. Bierwick just sits down and observes the fight.

Trent swiftly oved to the side using his quick speed to dodge the bullets but one grazed his shoulder and tore off a bit of clothing. "Heheh, going to take more than that to take me down!" The Young Trenton Steel said as he dashed forewards. "Steel Blitz!" He shouted as he flashed his katana in many directions towards the marines to dis-mantle them and hopefully knocked them all down to see Bierwick alone if successful.

the marines guns are all cut up. they all get scared "What the hell? Who is this guy?"

Bierwick laughed and stood up , his large body , he towers over Trent Steel "You must be a new pirate.., what a coincidence, i just got promoted....., they call me the 'war machine' Bierwick Jones......." He lifts up his giant halbred ((Its a spear sort of weapon, which has good mobility)).

Trent looked down for a moment and then let out a smile. "I may be new but i'm going to be King of the Pirates!" He shouted as he raised his sword and charged towards Bierwick, his katana slashing towards the middle of his chest. "Remember the name, Trenton Steel!" He roared into the air.

Bierwick, moves his halbred in a circular motion , guiding Trents katana the other way. The halbred blocks all of Trents slices. Bierwick laughs "The distance thanks to my halbred is too far, you want to be king of the pirates eh? Like every other sad case on the sea? it will never happen!!!" He aims his halbred with powerful thrusts at Trents shoulder.

Trenton swiftly side steps the halberd as it smashes towards the ground and pulled his dagger out, catching it inside his mouth. "I am no sad case, I -will- be King of Pirates!" he growled as he dashed foreward towards the man.

Bierwick does a 360 degree move, taking his halbred all the way around , cutting everything in a 360 degree angle. He holds his halbred and cuts down with power at Trent.

"You and i will sail these seas till one of us dies, what do you hope to achieve, why do you want to be King? everyone wants to be a king, but only one man has ever been king, you fool..."

Steel let out a snarl as he would move his face foreward to block the halberd with his dagger. "Because it's my dream and I will complete my dream even if I have to die for it!!!!" He growled as he would bring his katana foreward to try and slash Bierwick's arm.

Bierwick moves his halbred, therein moving his arm away from the katana's slash. Bierwick uses his power and punches Trent in the face. "You didnt answer me, for what reason ? why do you persist in chasing this hopeless ambition....."

Trenton is pushed back by the punch with his nose slightly bleeding as he let out a smile. "Because I made a promise to someone..." He growled as he would dash foreward towards him. "STEEL BLITZ!!" He roared as his katana blade flashed aroud.

Beirwick tries to block , and does, but there are still some cuts on him from Trents attack that pushes him back. He starts bleeding and then look up "I see, a promise huh? what a childish notion." He rips off his shirt and then lfted up his halbred in stance "Then your dream ends here!!! I cannot let you pass, as it is my duty as a marine!!!"
