Miyu took a knife and cut the leaves carefully. She was a little nervous, it was the first time she did something like this.
Then she mixed the medicine with the water like Kureha had told her to.
She looked at the doctor.
“What now?“

“Y- Yieek! I'm so sorry! I'll do it again!“
Miyu had been sure she had cut it just like in the book, but she wouldn't talk back at that scary woman.
She took the book for help and carefully cut the leaves.

“5,69? How am I supposed to...?“
The look on Kurehas face was so cold, she was sure it'd kill her if she finished that sentence.
She took the leaves and put them in the oven.
“65 degree Fahrenheit.... 1, 2,3,4,5,6...uhm...“
She just took them out after saying 'six'. The timing seemed right to her.
How am I supposed to do this right?

Haru was fighting a man. It was one of the WEBH.

“Haru!“
Miyu shouted and ran outside.
She didn't know if he was in trouble, and even though she had trust in his abilities, she couldn't help but get worried every time he fought someone.

I'm okay. Just finished what you are doing.. Haru dashed at the man and managed to damage him a little

Miyu flinched at the sight of the blood.
Instead of answering the question, she just stood there, watching the fight. She didn't know who to worry about, Haru or his opponent.

Haru then remembered that Miyu so all of the attacks of Haru was all using the back of the sword. He managed to hit the man and he flew through the forest. He landed where Miyu can't see them both. Haru then grabbed his sword and stabbed the man. He wiped the blood off and started walking towards the house.

Miyu was looking at the spot where they had vanished. She knew Haru'd probably kill the man, but she didn't follow them. No way she'd stand in his way again.
Instead, she went back inside.
“I'm sorry.“
She said to the doctor.
“We can go on now.“

Haru went back training.

Come inside. The leaves are ready. Next make a herb solution. you read about it

“Oh. Yes. Solution.“
Miyu took the leaves and began making the solution like she had read in the book.
But she wasn't concentrated. There were too many things going on in her head.

"Hey I heard the there are a pirate couple visiting this village is that true?" Wisal spoke calmly with a cigarette inside his mouth to the doctor as he stepped into the house. He has been in this cold village for a some weeks now and finally it was time for him to leave with a crew.

Miyu, who had her back turned to him, made sure not to turn around. Who knew if that man was a bounty hunter, or, even worse, a marine. He'd recognise her immedeatly. The doctor had left a while, stating she'd 'be back by the time the solution was ready.'
Instead, she went onwith what she was doing, and tried to look as busy as possible.
Then she slowly said.
“Could be... Who are you? I don't think the doctor wants you to smoke in here...“

"hmm...like I care" Wisal spoke again his tone was unfriendly and arrogant.

"So tell me are you one of these pirates?"He asked out loud.

He's unfriendly.... and he's suspecting me.
Miyu still didn't turn around to him.
“Are you looking for any specific pirates? As in: Do you know their names? Bounties? Anything?“
She made sure he couldn't seee her arms, which started turning to smoke.

"Yeah I am looking for cap'n Haru, and his companion Miyu" He spoke arrogantly as he looked at the girl.

"I don't remember the amount of bounty they have, but I am quit sure it was lower than mine."He said as he laughed again loudly.

"Oh..My bad I forgot to introduce myself."He said as he unsheathed his sword from his back, and pointed it at the girl.

"I am Sam D. Wisal a wanted swordsman, and pirate with a 30 million bounty on his head....Oh shit I should have not said that out loud, but well it is not like their is any bounty hunter here who can match my skills."He spoke once again using his calm, and proud tone.

Miyu turned around to him.
She kept her arm in smoke form, just in case.
“You're no bounty hunter then? My bad, but please don't point that sword at me, I don't like violence...“
...But if you point weapons at me, then I'll have to get violent at some point...
She added in thought.
"My name is Miyu Delaney."

"Oh I see"Sam spoke in a low voice as he putted back his blade back to its normal place.

"So miss Miyu I was wondering if you can let me join your crew. You know I am sure that you will find a good use for my skills in using swords, and fighting." He spoke once again, but this time his tone was somewhat serious yet friendly.

Miyu was a little surprised about this outcome, and not sure what to say.
“I don't know, you seem like a very....“

“I think we'll have to ask Haru about this. I don't know what's taking him.... But he should be here soon, I'm sure.“

"Alright...guess I will take a nap until he gets here then." Sam said lazily as he sat down cross legged, and laid his back on the wall. The cigarette was still in his mouth as he slept.

Miyu looked at him with an insecure look on her face. She had wanted new crew members, but she wasn't too sure about this guy. He seemed to be a prick. And he was still smoking his cigarette. What if it fell out of his mouth while he was sleeping? That'd hurt.
She sighed and sneaked up on him. She carefully picked the cigarette out of his mouth and threw it into the fireplace.
Then she got back to work.

"So you are a doctor?"Sam said lazy, and calmly as he opened his eyes all of a sudden and observed what she was doing. He also was able to feel that someone took out the cigarette from his mouth, but well that was not something that really annoyed him.
