I'm rewatching the episodes after reading this chapter bc im kinda bored right now, and the whole time I was like "I wonder if they figured that they would end up going to the sky together or having such a high bounty or defeating a shichibukai(?) together or being such close friends later in the future." Esp. during the part when they all first meet luffy and are like "is he even human??" LOL

Or when he's fighting pirates and the enemy is making fun of them, I'm like "Stupid! They're gonna be really strong and infamous!"

WOWOWOW. I feel so stupid and lame. LOL

Dude, is that any way to adress your crew? (No, seriously, I think it's kinda... weirdly cute. Also love how Usopp and him become bros all of a sudden when it's about saving themselves.)

Sanji's Power is awesome...But Luffy's is 10x sweeter..

I actually did think at one point that caribou might become a nakama but i like the idea...

I still think the last nakama is going to be a fishman... it makes sense for it to be a fishman, but Caribou would be fantastic as a contrast member of the strawhats

People keep talking about who Luffy's next crewmember is going to be, but at the beginning of the series he said that a crew of about ten would be good and he already has ten if you include Luffy himself and the ship, which of course is a crewmember.

I suspected Caribou would join, and it would make a really interesting twist.

That..and he didn't say that he'd stop there. He said it would be good. I'm pretty sure the way luffy geek's about every little thing..he'll have a few more members..

I sure hope so! Every single new addition to the crew was immensely awesome.
it would be totally great if Caribou would join but I doubt it. I mean, remember what he did to those guys? Not very strawhat-like.
Also, what about his crew? If they're alive... Maybe he'll travel wit them for a while, and I suspect he'll backstab them, which weirdly increases his chances of becoming a member...
But more like ally, me thinks.

If Caribou decides to join it will probably happen because he will see Luffy with the Kraken later and will say "WTF? Did he tame that thing?! He is awesome!"
More than that , I believe that the crew needs a logia user to start with. It would be awesome if they had a logia user.
Finally , Caribou is actually a weirdo: Although he likes killing he also strongly believes in God. And also the crew needs somebody that is a "real" pirate and is actually attacking for no reason at all.

That's right! It would be so sweet!
Though hardly as sweet as aforementionened light from certain body parts (Gee, just writing it like that cause I'm too lazy to put it in spoilers...).
Made me think about another light user...(here's looking at you, marines...).
They could have a nipple beam battle... Except not. Never. Please. It was just what came to mind when I saw frankys new technique...

I do find it highly unlikely that the way Caribou is that he's straw hat material..but then again. Luffy has the ability to make anyone his enemy..

Yea I agree some of his crew were untrustworthy worthy to begin with but he changed them.
