Holy crap, amazing chapter. Even after two years I still wasn't expecting for them to become so strong that Pacifistas are mere fodder against them. That's amazing.

And it looks like it's confirmed that haki can be used to enhance attacks against anyone and not just against Devil Fruit users. That's gonna be really goddamn handy.

Only thing is I'm not sure I'm fond of the partial Gear Second. The whole idea was that it pumped the blood harder and faster, and this means that only in his arm the blood is pumping faster, and that it slows when it leaves the arm. That... doesn't really make much sense, that's not how the circulatory system works. You can do it to an extent, but the whole idea is that for blood to flow into the arm faster the heart needs to be doing it, which is whole body. If the arm is sucking in blood faster than the body is delivering it, then... the arm ends up with a lack of blood in it as its consumption rate is greater than the rate of inflow. The idea that he can do it so quickly and with such ease is great, but the mechanics seem messed up to me.

no perona stayed behind Naito. so she is not joining, my guess is a fishman will join their crew next

I kinda wanted her to join... But I guess her powers make it hard to write fightscenes for her.

Yeah...either you can beat her or you can't. There's not much to a fight with a Perona. I suppose Usopp had some trouble, but if even he can think of a way to beat her, then I'm sure other fighters could as well.

I believe Perona will join. She would not risk her life to help Zoro... I believe what we actually saw was a ghost of her , and her original body is in the ship... And it was stated that once they remove the flag , they won't be able to get back again from underwater , so the crew will have to keep her.

i think they just showed her help Zoro because she was his allie for 3 years if thats the case the herucules should join too because he risked his life to help ussop

I liked Herucules, Perona, Weatheria, and the okama helping them all out. I thought it was neat.

I claimed she would join like months ago, during the Thriller Bark arc. Then I slowly let go of that belief, then I saw she was in this chapter, and thought she was gonna join, and I was like "O_O I KNEW IT", and then I realized she stayed behind, and I was like D;

Perona can't float while solid, right? Yet she was floating, and she was holding an umbrella and a bear doll. You need to be solid to hold stuff, right? But she wouldn't be able to float if she was solid... so.... ???

Two years on. It's possible she's mastered more aspects of her DF. But frankly, I don't care. I don't hate Perona, but she is of no interest to me whatsoever. Except that she's grown hotter over the two years, but that's about it.

I believe she will join because there was a reference to her just like with any other Straw Hat before they joined. There is an image in one chapter that Nami is wearing a t-shirt with Perona's Jolly Roger... And who knows...Oda can always think of a way for her to sneak into the ship. And now you can say that she looks like a real woman (her eyes are the exception) , so she deserves to join the SHs

She actually has been seen with the umbrella in ghost form before, so no continuity error there. She's just ghosting.

Remember she was traveling with Zoro, and he came to the island first. So Perona could have had time to sneak onto the ship somehow.

btw, if she does join, I'm re-posting this for bragging rights
