Personality Payne is not one to be ready to fight instantly. Even if some opens fire on him. He is still very very very calm. Although he seems like a mild mannered man. Payne has a temper problem. When Payne is angry, people say its like he's a completely different person. This alternate personality is what people call "Pain"! Pain is a very ruthless, and violent person. He even uses his devil fruit power on his own comrades if they don't move out the way. Pain will have control over Payne until he has fulfilled his objective.
History Payne as a child always wanted to become a Marine. Ever since a group of Pirates killed his Older brother, who was a Royal Shichibukai. Payne never forgave Pirates after they ruthlessly murdered his Brother when he was sick. Payne then vowed that he would rid the entire Earth of Pirates! By any means necessary, on that day...Pain was born. At the age of 10, Payne knew he wouldn't be able to fulfill his dream if he stayed the way he was. So he sought out power. Payne heard stories about the power of a Devil Fruit. And he over heard some pirates talking about what a big steal they got on getting there hands on a very Rare Devil fruit. Payne dashed towards the Pirates Ship and made him self a stow away on the Ship. He brought along a Snail Dial so that he could contact the Marines so they could apprehend the pirates after he was done with them. Payne searched high and low for were the Devil Fruit could have been hidden. And to be to his surprise it was right in the normal storage area. Payne opened the box that contained the Devil fruit and began to eat the Devil fruit quickly. After Eating it whole. Payne felt a hot sensation go right through his body. Panicking, Payne through his arms to the side and created a small, but powerful pillar of Fire. That burned right through the upper floor of the ship. The Pirates quickly rushed down too see what had happened in the cellular of the Ship. The Captain was the first to see the Kid had eaten the Devil fruit. The Captain then ordered all his crew mates to abandon ship, But Pain wasn't going to allow that. Pain Then clapped his hands together and began to form a giant ball of fire. He then sent off a giant ball of fire in the direction of the Pirates, burning them all to ashes. At that time, Pain had taken over Payne completely. He called in to the Marines so they could come clean up the mess, and then waited for them to make it the Ship. When the Marines made it to the Ship, Vice Admiral Kage was the first to see Payne. He looked at the young boy emerged in flames. With a wicked stare in his eyes. Kage turned around and began walking towards the ship they came on after the captured the remaining pirates. "If you want to become truly strong..then come..." With that, Payne followed Kage onto the ship, and sailed back to Marine HQ. Twenty years had passed and Payne had learned how to control Pain to an extent. Which now made him even stronger! His Devil Fruit powers had increased by 100 times since he first ate the fruit, due to Kages vigorous training. His physical ability to run, and jump had also increased due to Vice Admiral Neol's hard training. Payne had finally reached his peak. He mastered his Devil fruit, and his body had reached extreme limits!
Current Events:The Attack On Water 7Payne had been sailing with the 1st Marines Division for the past ten weeks on these tides. Patrolling, watching Water 7 closely. Although he was assigned this. He actually wished to do it. Major Payne, Vice-Admiral and hopefully Admiral. With the Promotion he was hoping to get soon, had been watching these waters for the time being just for fun. He knew that since the attack and escape from Imperial down had accorded. More exciting things were likely to happen. So he chose to stay here. From a distance, Payne felt the presence of a strong pirate. It was burning with rage. Payne then set a course in the direction he felt the pirate. He'd deal with this in a heart beat.
After arriving on the Island. Payne came in counter with Manta, a very skilled Pirate. They had a quiet tight end battle, until Payne had to continue with his previous goal. To bring the peace in the area. Manta then took Payne to the scene of the crime, but before they made it. They encountered Gary O Daniel, a Pirate, but also a friend towards the Marines in a since. Captain Unholy, an extremely dangerous and powerful pirate, was causing a ruckus. Payne and Gary both knew how powerful Unholy was even with out his crew. So they had no choice but to work together.
After a long drawn out battle, Payne was able to once and for all kill Unholy by throwing a flaming spear straight through him. Officially killing, The great Pirate Unholy, but at the same time. Gary sacrificed his life. As Unholy fell to the ground greatly injured. Payne turned his attention to the second threat, Maximillion. Another very powerful and dangerous pirate. Payne then made the next goal was to capture Maximillion and report him captured. A HUGE heated battle between Maximillion and Payne broke out until Maximillion over used his new found Devil Fruit ability and tired him self out. Thus, Payne successfully captured Maximillion.
The Great WarAfter getting sent to an Island not far from Sabaody. Payne, working with Admiral Nikishi and other Marines. Were ordered to take back the Island from the Pirates and make it a base for the Marines. While in this war, Payne went toe to toe with numerous pirates such as the Rookie pirate Anbuis, The Yonkou, Leon Lexus, and a Rookie Pirate Dorian D. Herron. The battle was a success and the Island was taken over by the Marines once again.
Forming a CrewAfter showing his "excellent" leadership skills. Payne was given the job of commanding the very 1st Division of the Marines. He recruited some rather power Marines.
The Battle on AlabastaAfter so Long, Payne was called into duty by a distress call from Vice Admiral Gideon to help fight the Pirate threat on Alabasta. Payne now marches into Alabasta, ready to save as many lives as possible. Payne, along with 50 of his Marines headed out towards Alurbana. He sent his two Elite soldiers of his ship Steven and Spencer, along with 50 soldiers out towards the Desert in search of any Pirate reinforcements. Payne then made it to Alurbana and met up with Ashely, a fellow Marine at the Palace of Alurbana. Payne then ordered his men to barricade and protect the back of the palace. While him and Ashely guarded the front gates.

Combat Payne mainly focuses On his Devil fruit powers to fight. He has completely master the fighting style Rokushiki, in every way. He mainly only uses Soru, to evade attacks at most. He really only relies on his Devil fruit powers, due to his laziness towards fighting.
Speed Payne has developed incredible speed over the years. Despite his old age. Payne has shown enough speed even with out Soru to catch up to a Soru user. Payne, when serious, can at times out speed a Soru user, but only for brief moments. Payne's speed has been said to be so intense he's been able to disappear from clear sight and reappear in another location. Payne's speed is one of his greatest traits.
StrengthPayne's physical strength is incredible. He's been said to be able to knock out a Giant with a single kick if in the right spot. Payne's physical strength is that to be recon with.
Hand to Hand Combat Payne's hand to hand combat is that of a master level. When up close, Payne preforms his best. Payne knows various ways to feint attack, out smart, and defend while using just his fist and legs. Payne's close combat fighting is enough to match people who are skilled with swords, spears and what not and still hold his ground.

He normally uses his legs when he's fighting, but when he's serious, he uses his arms as well. Payne's hand to hand fighting skills are probably the best in the Navy.

He will Then form fire around his hands , and will begin to fire off Giant Fire balls. That will break off into smaller fire balls. That break into even smaller fire balls, about the size of Marbles. He will constantly fire the Giant Fire balls off in a Gatling gun manner, causing it to feel like a horrible Rain Storm. But with Fire.
Burning Blade Spin:Payne will spin around but at the same time, extend both his arms out vertically. At that, he will shoot out a slim stream of fire. The fires is hot enough to burn straight through human flesh, but not anything highly durable like metal or steel. Unless Payne takes time to charge the attack (2 post)
Blazing Cannon:Payne will place his left arm on his right arm and send Fire from his left arm to his right fist. While charging flames also with the knuckles of his right fist. Once the attack is ready, Payne fires off a Fire ball the size of a Cannon ball at his opponents. The Attack then completely engulfs the enemies upper torso and begins to burn them alive. (This attack takes 1 post to charge)
Hell's Path:Payne will run across the ground, leaving a 2 foot wide path of fire on the ground.
Hell's PrisonPayne will use Soru to first preform Hell's Path in 3 full circles around his opponent. He will then raise his arms up and create a huge dome roofless dome of fire. Trapping his opponents. Anything that's not human will be incinerated while going through the flames. Any human will begin to melt. (The Attack last for 10 post. The it will diminish and Payne must wait 10 extra post to do the attack again.)
Satan's Sigh:Payne will inhale deeply and then exhale, sending off a huge blast of Fire. The Blast will continue for how ever long Payne inhale (1-2 post). Payne can stop the attack instantly if needed.
Satan's Grasp:Payne will extend his left or right arm out and send off a arm and hand of fire. The Fire is temporarily hot enough to burn straight through every strong material such as Bone and Steel. Payne will then grab hold of a human and cause very harmful injures to his opponent. Its not enough to tare the bone off. But enough to cause server damage.
Hell's Cyclone:Payne with extend his right leg upwards and will surround it entirely of flames, hot enough to melt steel. Payne has limited control while doing the attack. The only way to hit some one is to catch them off guard or to counter it by completely stopping, and starting the attack again.
Sun God:Payne will surround his entire body in flames. Causing any one or thing that touches him to burn them self servilely. If touched for to long, they can be easily and quickly burned to ashes. This mode can be held for (12 post, then Payne has to have a 20 post cool down).
Heat Breath:Payne will breath out extremely hot air. The air is so hot it practically dehydrates any human being with in Payne's general Area.
Hell's Full Body Search:Payne will use Soru to dash pass his opponent. As he does that, He quickly pats down his opponent with flames all around his arms and hands. Thus, Payne Snaps his fingers and the flames that are all around his opponents body expand to resemble Payne's Sun God mode. Not an inch of their body is visible.
Satan's Boomerang:Payne with set his entire arm of fire. Thus, he will spin around at a 60 degree angle and send off a arm length boomerang of Fire. The boomerang is hot enough to slice to steel if its with in 1 mile of Payne. Any father it will just do the damage of a mare sword.
Blue Flame:Payne will cross his arms across his chest and slowly set his entire body on fire. After a sort period of time. Payne will throw his arms back down to his sides and they will burst into Blue Flames. This flame is able to slice through even the hardest of substances like butter. Payne can then use 3 FLAME of his moves before he has to stop using the attack before he loses consciousness. (He can use 3 Moves total, it doesn't matter how many post are between when he used them. Once he uses the 3 moves he must wait for 5 post. After he's used this technique 3 times. He can no longer use it for the rest of the thread.)

This move takes 1 post to charge before he can launch it. After he makes the fire ball. He shapes it into the emblem that's seen on the Marine Flag. He then pushes it down towards his target. In attempt to obliterate them.

Blazing Gorilla:Payne will create a enormous fire ball and will then jump inside it. He'll then shape the fire from inside and make it into a Flame Suit for Fire. The Fire then starts to slightly thicken into a thick substance, making it a flame Suit. Payne can then use the suit like a flaming battle armor. This such as Swords, Bullets, and Shock waves nullify in the fire before it can actually reach Payne. Payne can hold this mode for as long as he wants. The down fall is, all his flame based attacks DRAMATICALLY lessen in strength for 5 post.

Flame Chains:Payne will shoot out think streams of fire through his fingers. He can choose to shoot them out of all of his fingers, or just one. After he fires them out to about 10 feet. He keeps shooting fire through the streams until it gets thicker, and, thus, he'll turn them into chains. Allowing him to tie them around his opponents like real chains. Except they will burn his opponent.
