Serious: The Dire Desperados Ch 3 - Time to Relax and Reload (Closed)

Avis awoke to the sound of crinkling paper shifting beneath her weight. Mildly confused about why she was sleeping on top of the maps in the first place, she eventually recalled looking over them the day before. She didn't consider herself to be tired enough to collapse directly over her work. The sleep she did get was enough for the moment, and it was probably a good time to check on the others.

Stretching her arms above her head and releasing a groan before she stood up and walked to the door, she grabbed the knob and slowly pulled it open. A streak of sunlight snuck into the room, and the intensity of it caused her to wince and shade her eyes until they had a chance to adjust to the change in lighting. By the looks of it, the sun had risen hours ago and it was nearly midday. She wondered how many people were awake by now as she opened the door fully and walked onto the deck.

((Yeaaah, I haven't had a chance to think of any specific plot for this thread quite yet. If someone else has any ideas, go ahead and shoot.))

Dontae was up for several hours he wasn't dressed in his usual attire he had only his pair of pants on and his boots. He had a bottle of whiskey and five small shot glasses filled with whiskey sitting to the right of him and he had a gun and dozens of pieces sitting in front of him and he was also wearing a blindfold with a small piece of the gun in his left hand and a cleaning piece in his other he heard the door from below deck open and knew by the soft footprints and the smell that it was Avis without removing his blindfold and continuing what he was doing he spoke " Afternoon Captain" Dontae spoke in a low voice....

(Nikz wanted to give us bounties for defeating Fei and her crew in the last rp)

valawxedit woke up his rib and arm were still broken but he decided to try and find someone in this place then he heard the water and thought (oh shit where the hell am i going)he relinked the fuel from his fire breath to his wings then got up using his wings to make sure he didnt fall over as he got up and shouted "ANYONE HERE?" but when it did it caused him immense pain so he decided to just look for people, beating his wings once or twice when he needed to.

Killua had just finished skecthing out his map of Xingshi and the sea which followed. He had remembered most of the features of the geography and was now nearly completed on his latest map, when suddenly a bird flew from the sky and landed down near him. Killua had remembered that the captain had subscribed to a newspaper delivery service a few days earlier as per his request. Killua then paid the bird , fed it a cracker and sent it on its way, and then proceeded to open the news paper. He walked towards where dontae was, as he was reading, something caught his eye "OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!"

Naito had been resting by sleeping all the day and night since Avis locked herself up in her cabin. Of course he had no place to sleep but that didn't matter as he always found it very comfortable on the crow's nest even at the cold nights on the sea.
He was having a sweet dream of lots of food and a banquet with lots of people many he did not know but some of them were individuals like Tzun Ren, Oyabun, the Dire Desperados Crew were at one corner partying all together and much more.

"OH MY GOD!!!"

Naito's sweet dream turned into black as he was startled to death and with his panic he fell of the crow's nest and smashed himself on the deck. He slowly rose up from the crashed place and asked half-asleep.
"Banquet?"

Upon seeing the shot glasses and seeing a partially dressed Dontae with a blindfold, Avis rubbed her eyes and tried looking at the situation again. Nothing changed. Either she still hadn't wakened up yet, or Dontae was actually trying to do something with that set-up. The former seemed most probable at the moment. "What might you be trying to do with all that?" she asked, giving the scene a puzzled look.

When she heard the shouting from inside the ship, Avis didn't recognize it immediately until she remembered the second person they picked up at the last island. At least this one seemed a bit less... Noisy.

"We're out on the deck," she shouted in response, "Don't push yourself, rest as much as you'd like. Come out when you're ready." Avis was about to check on the injured one when Killua cried out, and she immediately turned around to see what the problem was. Strangely enough, Naito spontaneously falling from the sky didn't surprise her much, and she simply stepped over him on her way to Killua and the newspaper.

Mildly concerned about the sudden outcry, she asked with a serious tone, "What's wrong?"

Killua dropped a bunch of bounties out, which included pictures of the members of the desperado pirates. There was also a newspaper article which was titled "Sources confirm that rookie pirate crew known as the Desperados wiped out the entire famed Xingshi fighting force which includes several big names such as Fei Wu Shang and former Martial art world champion Lee Go Ren. The famous yellow dragon was also completely crushed"

Killua then looked "HEY THESE ARE OUR BOUNTIES!!!"

((I have no idea what Avis' would be. Moderator nikz, what would be a legitimate bounty increase for her? xD))

Killlua looked through the bounties "I dont believe, even Naito has one? Isnt that weird?!! Dynar , Dontae, you guys are here too!!!!"

Naitos bounty poster showed Naito picture which was of him just defeating the yellow dragon. and it stated

Dontae smiled and reached over and grabbed one of the shot glasses and quickly drunk it he then proceed to the pieces in front of him and begin putting his gun back together as fast as he could in a few seconds the gun was back together and Dontae was drinking the last four of the shot glasses " You can't be a good marksmen when you don't know your gun in and out" Dontae looked behind him to see Avis standing there staring and then he sees some guy falling from the crows nest and then heard rumbling from below deck and all of it was topped off with Killua yelling. Dontae stood up picking up the bottle of whiskey off the floor and walking over next to Avis and Killua to see the bounties on the floor " Wow bounties" Dontae looked at his poster and saw " Dontae " Deadshot" Milton former marine captain wanted for questioning 20,000,000beli" Dontae smiles seeing his first bounty the picture showed him picking up the badge from Megumi...

Naito stood up as he heard his name and approached seriously and slowly Killua. He somehow felt what could be on that newspaper. The swordsman adjusted better his whole sheath and took a glance at the newspaper over Killua's shoulder.
He slightly smirked with a serious face but it was not long until he showed his usual personality.

"YATAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Naito shouted as he rose his hands in the air with a grin on his face that marked him as the happiest person in the world right now. He was getting slowly closer to his goal of having the highest bounty in the world.

((A 60mil increase to 71mil? That seems huge, but it does make a bit of sense I guess... And I thought permission was required for bounty increases, or everyone and their cousin would be getting them without warrant.

Really that big though? lol))

Avis grinned in response to Dontae. The guy never seemed to take a break; he was trying to improve even at a time like this. "Do you now? I don't understand why the alcohol is involved, but I'll let that question remain unasked."

"Bounty posters? Lemme see those," Avis said excitedly with a grin on her face. The first one Killua displayed was of Naito, and she grabbed it to look at it more closely. Her eyes eventually drifted towards the bottom where she read his title.

"They must have had a typo or something... You haven't slain any dragons recently, have you?" Avis glanced over towards Naito in disbelief.

((Erin, you defeated one of the most famous pirates on the high seas, of course this is a big deal, you are also captain, not to mention , Feis bounty was over 60 mil beli, so this is a good bounty and reasonable increase, now do you want a nickname? plus you forget, im in charge of bounties remember?))

((Alright, I concede xD And yes, I do remember that. I also think she's fine nickname-less for now, since I can't think of anything quite yet. There's always a chance for that later.))

(Pulling a Robin Bounty here since I didn't do anything particularly noteworthy in that thread.)
Dynar appeared on the deck from under the deck. The frog had turned it's head to 'read' the magazine, as if it could understand text. Dynar grabbed his bounty poster. "23 Million Beli." He read aloud. It had stayed quite well under bounds. Perhaps the government just raised it to bring more attention to active pirates. He noticed the frog also had one. "Hey, Ryo, have a look. 2 million." For a pet, froggy sure was getting an awful lot of recognition.
(Btw: I have some plot ideas.)

valawxedit headed for the outside because that was where a lot of commotion was going on beating his mechanical wings to make sure he didnt fall over when he got there he saw everyone crowding around one thing then he asked the crowd "whos the captain?" taking out all his money which came to 287,231 beli

((Not overly demanding. Anyways, I should've been the one convincing him to get a bounty raise, not the other way around. Didn't mean to sound finicky or demanding about it. My bad.

Killua then read Avis bounty. It had a picture of her right after she defeated Fei. The poster read

Killua then looked down and saw his bounty. It was a picture of him standing tall after first landing a hit against Lee. He could not believe his eyes.

Killuas eyes gleamed "Awesome!!! WE ALL HAVE BOUNTIES!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAAHA" Killua was not happy about the bounty so much as the fact that people now knew that he was part of this crew, that small fact made him happy, after all, he really liked the crew he was with at the moment.

MEANWHILE AT MARINEFORD
In the bounty room, where all bounties are discussed. The room has a typical japanese style to it, with tatami mats and bonzai plants. There was a man with glasses up front and several high ranking looking marines over there. One of the elderly ones finally said "Is this bounty really necessary? Ive never heard of them.........."
The man with the glasses the spoke "I assure you commodore, this crew is a legitimate threat. Within one day, they managed to defeat one of the strongest islands renowned for their martial arts and unbreakable order.... even we could not break through the barriers that place held......."
The man with the glasses then smashed his palm against Avis bounty poster "The one known as Avis Ridley, defeated the Wu Shang leader, which has been trouble even for our most experienced officers!!! She must be eliminated, she also has shown some skill gathering so many strange members at the same time!!!!" He then points to Killuas poster "This one is another one who has slipped our radar, but it has come to my attention he was the former schibukai Vladmir Barbats crew member!!! Not only that , he defeated the former Martial arts champion Lee Go Ren, this itself gives him a pedigree to be feared but there is even more to this boy... he is also the youngest brother of the infamous Dojima Bros who have terrorized most of the grandline until recently!!!"
He then points to Naitos poster "This one is quite known for stirring trouble, but he defeated a legendary star of Xingshi, the yellow dragon, who was once considered one of the top 15 swordsmen in the world, i consider him a target we must focus on!!"

He then points to Dontaes poster "This one is the traitor..... the fact that Ridley was able to recruit him shows us something.... there is some serious threat in this crew!!!!!"

He then looks ver to Jaces bounty poster "This one is a recorded mass murderer who is out of control, his violent ways have taken the lives of many people, and therefore he is also another one who we must watch, he defeated Feng Wu Shang as well...... this is another concern for us......."

One of the commodores sighed "Ok we get it........ what about that one with the giant frog?"

The man with glasses then looked " That man is supposedly some sort of physician..... but the frog has been sighted before. And is classified as a dangerous animal, no doubt he is one of their many weapons!!!!!"

The marines along the tables then nodded at each other "Very well, let us proceed with catching these so called Desperado pirates, we cannot let their evil grow any further!!!!! ALL FOR THE SAKE OF JUSTICE!!!!"

((im intrigued Frog, also, be glad i did this marine ford cutscene ))

((I am making a marine crew with a captain character of mine and NPCs crew, of course open for members. I'd like to recommend it for our next chapter (not this one) , of course if they get approved. ))

Dontae drinks from the bottle of whiskey and smiled " Looks like our bad luck had gotten worse huh? Well I'm gonna go get dressed" Dontae stares off into space thinking of the crew next move he then snaps out of it and heads below deck to his quarters...

Meanwhile on A Large Island in West Blue

" Father check this out" A very skinny man with long hair and dark skin caring a huge sword ran into a huge room where a huge man was sitting in a chair looking out towards the sky. The man was five times the size of the skinny guy with a huge muscle build and a long beard hanging down to his chest he leaned down and took the paper from the boys hand he stared at it for a while and then laugh " hahahaha will you look at this your brother has made quite a name for himself in such a short time" The skinny man looked at his father " B..But father he's a pirate" The large man looked at his son and smiled " hahaha yes he is I taught you all great skills and it's up to you all to decide on how to use it and beside your brother is happy look at the smile on his face" the other man smiled along with his father. The huge man stood up " Now lets celebrate, Dontae has become quite the infamous man just like his old man..."

(My idea relates pretty directly to the new bounties. Bounty hunters. Not even necessarily a battle, but other events relating to hunters. I'm thinking of more ideas.)

((Let's see...technically even though Jace fought Feng for most of his battle, he did not deal the final blow so his bounty shouldn't really jump in the same way as Avis's, right? I just checked and now I'm wondering if Feng even had a bounty. I couldn't find it. What do you suggest, nikz?))

"Come on...quiet down..." Jace grumbled. "I'm trying to sleep." He hadn't moved despite knowing what they were talking about. It wasn't that he was not interested, rather he had been having a nice dream and wasn't too happy to have it interrupted.
