Sporting a pair of rather stylish glasses, a goatee, and a modern haircut, Vergil is often seen as quite handsome. He is handsome on a more sophisticated level however, where those that see him almost always start picturing how good his life must be. He wears expensive clothes that he uses to hide his quite rippled body. Although he might look like the type that is more 'smart' than 'strong' - most will be surprised when they find that its quite a balanced mix of the two.
Vergil always dresses casually, according to his own personal taste. In fact, he is the only one allowed to do so, at least during working hours. As for his taste, it is extremely expensive, where he will only go after the more exclusive brands. He always wants to look his best, and it is not uncommon that his attire gets him mixed up with the more wealthy of his clientelle.
History:
Vergil was born in a small village in West Blue, there was nothing extravagant about the town, and it generally avoided being bothered by pirates. Being from such a small town he often heard about how great the World Government and Marines were, and how they protected the people. At a young age he was often bullied, and to hide the pain of the insults from those around him he laughed. To this day, his hiding behind his laughter hasn't stopped and has in fact become one of his most significant personality traits. As he got older, he became stronger and bigger, wanting to gain his revenge against the bullies. But his mother, the greatest influence of his life, explained that revenge wasn't everything. He learned to accept the bullies apologies, while still making sure to get back at them through a spar or prank every now and then.
With this mentality set, at the age of 16 Vergil departed his small home town and headed off to become a marine. He traversed the hardships of the sea, often having to resort to long nights without food on his journey. Eventually coming across a marine base on Somewhere Island he settled down and began his training. Thanks to his hard working ethic and wanting to save the rest of the world from bullies like he once was, Vergil quickly rose through the ranks. He eventually escalated all the way to Captain but then something happened. The exact details aren't certain, but he witnessed an act of evil within the marines and decided to resign. His resignation was taken with sadness, as many of his superiors told him of the potential he possessed, but he left nonetheless.
Nowadays he wonders the sea of West Blue, taking out a bully wherever he sees one. Never really caring about what faction they belong to. He's just a lost seed blowing in the wind, waiting to find the perfect soil, where it can sprout into a forest.
Personality:
Vergil is usually fairly optimistic, but he has a tendency to act "cool". He is often aware of how he must appear to others and so he attempts to look badass or awesome all the time because of this. He is a very calm and patient individual, although he can be impulsive when it comes to making decisions he usually takes his time to decide on the best course of action.
Vergil loves large weapons like pole arms, and enjoys winning a lot too - he hates to lose, although he is a good sport about it nonetheless. He loves to write and read, as well as dream up scenarios that might happen in his life. He's got a taste for music as well and is a very musical person. On the other hand, Vergil is willing to kill if it gets him what he wants.
Ship:
Large but rather basic pirate ship. Nothing out of the ordinary really, except if you count the inhabbitants of the ship! Carries ten large canons, five on each side of the vessel. Has one massive cabin and one shed like structure connected to it (about half the size). The large cabin contains thirteen bunks on the left side of the room, a kitchen to the right, and a washroom directly infront of the door. Twelve of the bunks have walls surrounding each one individually like a cubicle to give whoever resides in them privacy. The last bunk has it's own large room with a private bathroom; made for the captain. Overtop of the cabin is another square room with a stepladder used to get to it. The ladder is hidden from sight and unless you knew about it you most likely would not find it. This square room contains a long table used for discussions among the crew.
The shed beside the Cabin is merely a storage room. Nothing too interesting, just stores the crews supplies.
The sails are bright white with a picture of a old antique father clock. The large mast of the ship has a cuckoo clock built into the very top. A small fluffy blue bird (resembling a pheonix) springs out of it at the turn of every hour proclaiming "Cuckoo Cuckoo" three times before going back into the clock for another hour.
Ship Flag: A pitch black background like most other pirate flags with a bright white skull in the center. In both eye sockets are small analog clocks and a pendulum coming out of the skulls gaping mouth.
Devil Fruit: Gura Gura no Mi

effect: The Gura Gura no Mi is a Paramecia type Devil Fruit that turns the user into a "Quake Man," allowing the user to create shock waves (or "quakes").
Special Abilities:
The Hatters Dance: This is almost like a martial arts 'Kata' with numerous steps that can be utilized in various circumstances. Depending on the situation, Vergil can do part of the dance and counter, or if wanting to utterly destroy his target(s) he can perform the whole dance - consisting of exactly 329 steps.
Amazing Stamina: Vergil has stamina far surpassing a normal human
Amazing Speed: Vergil has speed far surpassing a normal human
Learned Techniques:
Tekkai Kepou: A technique in which the user hardens his or her muscles to be extremely hard in order to nullify damage taken from attacks. The technique is sligtly altered from original Tekkai because the user is able to move while in using such a skill.
Soru: A technique in which the user moves at extremely high speeds in order to avoid attacks, as well as to attack at higher speeds. It was revealed that the principle of this move was to kick off the ground at least 10 times in the blink of an eye.
Geppou: A technique in which the user actually jumps off the air itself, allowing them to stay in the air for much longer than usual. CP members can use this technique to cross great distances without ever touching the ground, or set themselves up for swift, aerial attacks.
Tobu Geppou: Having mastered both Geppou and Soru, this advanced technique combines the two and utilises Soru's movements coupled with Geppou's air-jumping. This allows the user to perform fast Soru-like movements through the air.
Earth Shattering Punch: A skill in which a punch that literally cracks the air itself is sent which produces a devastating shock wave through the air in the direction it is facing.
Topsy Turvy: The user grabs an entire area and rapidly shifts it. Using this, Vergil is capable of tilting a gigantic mass of land. This will result in buldings being destroyed and many people being thrown off their feet
Quake Blast: A skill which allows him to focus his power to a single point, otherwise known as a hypocenter (given the appearance of a bubble of sorts), to make a concentrated, explosion-like attack.
Slapping Thrust Quake Cannon: Vergil first plants both feet firmly on the ground by means of a sumo-style foot stomp. Then, throwing his palms forward multiple times, he fires a vast number of shock waves towards the enemy.
Hatter's Punishment: This is a technique where the user, using quick and very accurate strikes, sends numerous blows aimed at an opponent's vital areas. The user may also ensue quake blasts within the strikes for a more devastating strike.
Poseidons Wrath: When out at sea, Vergil uses his fruit powers to cause massive waves to come crashing down wherever he wishes. This is extremely deadly towards other fruit users.
