Casval is dressed rather ordinary for an Admiral. A simple black suit jacket and matching pants, a slim black tie with a white undershirt is all that can be said of his attire. His belt is black with a silver buckle adorned with an 'X'. His hair is styled black and messy on top fading down into gray and short on the sides near his ears. His face and body are covered in scars from his past battles as a weakling, growing to power with time rather than simply abusing his fruit abilities against his enemy. His face often portrays a stern face that does not match his personality at all, the stern look mostly only comes into play when he fights someone.
History: Little evidence is left of Casval's past, he was born into a family of pirate's. Quite literally being raised on a pirate ship from the tender age of five he was trained by a rather harsh father who would often leave his son close to death in order to make him into a better 'man' so to speak. His life was always adrift, never staying in one place due to the nomadic nature of his parent's. His mother was just as cruel as the father, making sure Casval was training constantly. In his teen years Casval could only pray for death. One night however, after his parent's and their cronies raided a small town they were attacked by the navy. As they were boarded a strong marine easily killed both Casval's mother and father in one swift motion. This all happened in front of his very eyes and Casval wept, not tears of sorrow but joy for his sweet relief. The marine had found Casval and, rather then leaving him an orphan became an adoptive father and took Casval back to his ship with him.
This was the second chapter in Casval's life, his training with his mother and father had been paying off as all of the marine training that he was put through was paltry in comparison. His adoptive father decided that rather than being the strongest pirate, Casval was to be the strongest marine. It was his fate and Casval would have it no other way. Day after day growing up now was just full of life and vibrancy, eventually he was officially recognized and made a full fledged marine. However after becoming a marine he had to part with his adoptive father, the second time Casval cried. It was during a raid at the age of eighteen that Casval came on to a pirate about to eat a devil fruit, every other marine was preoccupied and Casval knew very well that the fruit could turn the tide of this stalemate. Quickly using every last ounce of energy he had he jumped to the pirate giving him a solid blow to the face and knocking him out. On the floor in front of him the fruit fell and without a second though Casval quickly ate it. After the initial indigestion he was granted with the immense, mythic powers of the mythical zoan fruit Kirin model. With his new abilities the battle was over in a flash for his side.
The news of his fruit ability got back to Marine headquarters and quickly the fleet admiral of the time assigned him to a mentor with great powers much like his own. Of course Casval excelled, being accustomed to harsh training all of his life and eventually came to master every aspect of his Kirin abilities. Through the years after that Casval quickly flew up the ranks of the Marine's, going from a mere foot soldier to vice admiral in a period of four years. Casval didn't care much for the rank, he just wanted to enjoy life and one day become the strongest there ever was.
Personality: Casval is a happy go lucky individual, careless at best. He often makes jokes and allows his underlings to slack off most days. His sense of justice is deep and ingrained, going out of his way to help others be they pirate or marine. Fair is fair in his book. His care free happy go lucky attitude quickly changes face however when he is confronted in conflict or given a serious, harsh mission by the fleet admiral. This is when the stern face of Casval is shown and whatever is in his path is annihilated in a bolt of lightning.
Ship: Casval's ship is called Scipio.
Ship Flag: Standard Marine flag, except adorned with a stylized version of the Kirin's horns to symbolize when Casval has pulled into harbor.
Devil Fruit: Koden Koden no Mi, Model: Kirin (Legend Legend Fruit, Model: Kirin)
Type: Mythical Zoan
Effect: The Kirin mythical zoan fruit is one of the rarest and least seen of even the mythical fruits. It's rarity is even more so than the logia type of fruit, granting it's eater immense power that some say surpass the logia. The Kirin model first and foremost, in all variations and forms comes with the ability to produce immense amounts of very deadly electricity. The lightning is under full control of the fruit eater and can be used to form weapons and the lot. However, when the eater goes in the hybrid Kirin/Human state a horn made of pure lightning is formed on the head of the eater and becomes a sort of focal point allowing the user to shoot 'beams' of concentrated lightning that explode on impact almost like a laser. The hybrid form also offers greatly enhanced physical attributes, being able to move in almost the blink of an eye and by focusing lightning below them and creating an updraft, even flying. The body isn't changed much in the hybrid form, the muscles are more refined from the lightning stimulating the muscles and a deep blue aura surrounds the eater as well as the eyes begin to glow a bright blue. In the full Kirin form the eater is surrounded by a jagged armor made of pure lightning, resembling that of the mythical Kirin. This armor is said to repel any attack, being as strong as a dragon's scales known to be harder than diamond. In the full Kirin form the user is able to create great storms above the battlefield, fly still and control the wind and lightning from the storm itself. Aside from the normal devil fruit weaknesses, this fruit like any lightning based is less effective on objects made of rubber. However, this would not save someone from a super powered punch to the face.
Special Abilities: Immense skill in hand to hand combat, originally learned from the years of his life before he had a devil fruit. His style mostly focuses on limited movement and using his opponents energy against them to knock them down or disable then. When fighting hand to hand Casval almost never moves from his spot and his reaction timing in nigh impeccable. The other half of his fighting style focuses on hard single strikes in vital positions after an opponent loses their footing/guard from the first half of his style.
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
Half Kirin form techniques
Shinguru Keiteki (Single Horn) - Gathering a large mass of electricity around his arm Casval throws the mass off his arm in the shape of a horn. The horn travels at a very rapid speed and does quite a bit of damage on contact, these can be fired fairly rapidly but not at a machine gun pace.
Nibai Keiteki (Double Horn) - Same as Shinguru Keiteki except forming electricity over two arms and firing them in two different arcs, used for a pincer like maneuver that can catch an enemy off guard. The doubled version can be fired half as fast as the original technique.
Boruto Kujo (Volt Destruction) - A powerful lightning technique involving pillars of solid electricity coming up from the ground in various locations around the battlefield. The pillars are quite large, as large as a building and multiple can be made on the battlefield. The catch is Casval needs to have a part of his body planted on the ground for the technique to work, be it a hand, foot, even head.
Himei (Scream) - Using the polarity of the electricity he controls Casval is able to make the air for a wide radius around him become semi positive and semi negative thus causing it to vibrate at high frequencies, this creates an intense ear drum shattering sound that causes most to lose balance and even vomit but at least it would cause a terrible splitting headache. This technique is great for a non-lethal assault on his enemy.
Kirin Roiyaru Tsume (Kirin's Royal Claws) - By forming a large quantity of electricity around his forearms, hands, calves and feet Casval is able to create a set of intricate 'gauntlets' on each arm and leg. These gauntlets shine a bright white with blue accents and make a distinct crackling noise. The electricity is so powerful and concentrated it has been known to arc off onto any nearby metal surface and cause sever shocking damage to allies and opponents alike. On his fingers sharp claws are created and on his feet as well, except his heels also possess large blades made of lightning on them as well as his elbows. These gauntlets are a last resort kill tactic that amplifies his already deadly close range attacking power.
Senshu Umou (Bow Down) - Casval's 'signature' technique, by pointing his finger in the air he is capable of creating pools of electricity that float in mid air. These pools are about the size of a softball and on many can be made at a time. On Casval's command each orb floating in the air shoots a beam in whatever direction Casval chooses. These beams have incredible piercing power and due to the nature of the technique many beams can be made at once. The speed of the beam itself is fairly decent as well, however the attack can still be dodged.
Full Kirin form techniques
Kunrin Denkou (Reign of Lightning) - In his full Kirin form, due to being covered by a armor made of lightning Casval is able to preform this large range attack by spinning around in one space rapidly, this creates a large amount of electric 'needles' in mid air that fly in every direction in a spherical shape around Casval. These nails are highly fast and on contact do a fair amount of damage but not fatal unless hit by a good number of them.
Kouteiten (Sky Emperor) - Like his half form, Casval is capable of creating pools of electricity in the air. However this technique is far more advanced as the orbs are much larger, about the size of a basketball and once again they can be made anywhere Casval points. When the orbs are activated however each other instead of sprouting a single medium beam instead sprout twenty small beams in a branching unpredictable pattern in whatever direction Casval chooses and they can keep branching as long as Casval is focused, meaning the technique can move. This technique can create a literal 'forest' of branches made of pure electricty that pierces deadly on contact.
Dageki Senkou (Shock Flash) - Casval's most used full form technique, this ability simply calls down medium sized pillars of light from the sky itself. These beams move quite fast and a few can be called down in an intricate pattern in order to trap an enemy.
Kangoku (Prison) - Manipulating lightning around his opponent Casval is able to create an extremely dense box of lightning around an enemy. Casval has complete control over what happens in the box, from forming the inside into assorted spikes to slowly decreasing it's size around an enemy. This technique is mostly used for interrogation,
Hissatsu! Nushi-no-Kami (Certain Kill! (The name of the shinto god of lightning)) - Casval's most powerful technique and what is said to make him unstoppable, after focusing an even larger amount of lightning into his Kirin model armor he is powered up the point of being able to move as fast as a bolt of lightning cutting anything in his path. His entire body is enhanced in this technique from thought to physical ability and reaction time due to the large amount of electricity between the synapses. Due to this even when he is moving as fast as lightning he is able to change his direction in mid-air. This technique comes with a heavy downside however as after five minutes in this form Casval's armor completely crumbles and he is unable to use any of his devil fruit abilities for five minutes, a taxing amount of time in a fight. However most never get past the first thirty seconds of this technique...
