At this particular moment, I would like to recount an anecdote about the way
In which my life was completely reversed
And I shall take but a short moment
Sitting in a singular location
To share with you the way in which I became the prince of a town known as Bel Air
I was conceived in West Philadelphia, where I spent my childhood
I spent the majority of my time on the local recreational equipment
I relaxed and enjoyed my popularity there
And I played a game of Basketball in the schoolyard
But then, to my dismay, there was a group of ruffians
With malicious intent
Who began disrupting the tranquility of my hometown
My mother was frightened when I got into a skirmish
So she informed me that I would be moving with my Aunt and Uncle to a town known as Bel Air
I implored and beseeched her daily
But she packed my tote bag and bid me farewell
She pecked my cheek and then she handed me my admission card.
I put my musical device on and said, 'I might as well relax'.
I was placed in first class, where I thoroughly enjoyed myself
I drank orange juice out of a champagne glass.
I wondered if this was the way in which the people of Bel-Air lived.
I pondered a while, and decided it might not be such a bore
But then I heard that they were stuck up, drinking wine
Is Bel-Air the type of place they wanted to send me?
I disagreed
I shall see upon my arrival.
I hope they are in readiness for the prince of Bel-Air
The plane arrived on the tarmac, and I exited
There was a gentleman who looked like an officer of the law standing with my name on a sign
I am not trying to be incarcerated
I have only arrived
I raced with the quickness of lightening and made myself difficult to find
I whistled for a taxi and when it approached
The license plate said 'fresh' and it had numbered cubes hanging from the mirror
If anything I can say this cab is difficult to find
But I thought 'I shall not remember this' then told the driver 'I would like transportation to Bel Air'
I arrived at the house around 7 or 8 in the evening
And I informed the driver that I would see him at a later date
I examined my kingdom
I had finally arrived
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air
