Shine Pirates: Emergence of the Shine.

Julie smile to herself as she shined the gem studded helm, checking her compass to make sure she's still on track. She nods...to herself, and walks out to the bow of the boat. As she lifts her right hand, she forms an 'O' shape with her fingers and thumb and creates a lens inside the O, holding it up to her eye. She scans the horizon for any sign of land.

"Hmph...nothing yet, hmm? Soon...soon."

She turns and looks up at her flag with a grin, admiring how the fabric seemed to have it's own shine to it in this light.

"This next island should have plenty of people willing to join my crew, right?"

She nods to herself once more before heading below deck to get some food.

With a smile on her face and a full belly, Julie walks up onto the deck of her ship and heads towards the bow, just in time for the ship to stop as it slides onto the shore of an island and send her tumbling forward off the boat. She grunts as she lands on her butt in the sand and mutters about checking for land earlier. She stands and dusts herself off, climbing back onto the boat to make sure it's anchored before heading onto the island in search of a town.

Pearl was playing in the water, swimming and catching a few fish while realising them. She was happy, but she was kinda bored too. She didn't know what to do, so she kept doing what she did.

Aaron grabbed the vine in hanging from the edge of the bluff and hauled on it. Straining and groaning slightly he hauled himself hand over hand up the small rock face. After about five minutes of this he finally reached the top and stood there, taking deep breath's of the humid island air. Putting his hands on his knees and leaning over he panted and wiped the sweat from his face with the front of his shirt. As he did this he noticed the gradual slope running up the northern face of the rocky outcrop he was on. He cursed softly to himself "Cant ever do things the easy way" he muttered as he straightened and reached into the large canvas sack at his side.
Pulling out a compass some parchment and various surveying tools he looked across the bay "At least this is the last section I have before the map is finished" he murmured.
Before he could even set anything up, something strange caught his eye down in the bay. Blinking in surprise at the sight of a...ship? It glimmered and sparkled in the sun in a very curious fashion, and the flag was defiantly a skull and crossbones.."Hmphh, pirate's" he said to himself, absent-mindedly putting his stuff back into the bag. It had not been there when he came to this area, so very intrigued he and started back down the gradual side of the out-cropping, going down to investigate.

Julie makes her way up the slope that leads to the town on this island...at least...that's what she hoped. As she reached the top and looked around she didn't see anything that even remotely looked like civilization. "Hmph...guess that jerk lied to me on the last island...or maybe I got turned around somewhere." She stops and turns around, holding her hand up to her face and making her scope again. With a quick survey of the horizon she sighs, "This has to be it..."

With a bit of a groan, Julie plops down on her butt, placing a hand on her forehead and letting out a long sigh.

Aaron creeped around on the slope overlooking the beach, trying to stay hidden in the foliage. He looked out at the ship, searching for any movement. As he looked at the ship he saw that the ship was definitely Sparkling in the bright sun as if studded with...jewels....and the flag seemed made of some shimmering material.
He leaned out more to get a better look, putting his hand on the trunk of a palm in front of him. As soon as he put his full weight onto the tree it gave way with a sickening crack, and with arms a-whirling, Aaron went head over heals down the brush covered slope; smacking into every bush and tree on the way down it seemed....
As he tumbled to a stop on the sand at the bottom of the slope he caught a glimpse of a very surprised looking woman, with blond hair and dressed in blue sitting on the sand near the slope. Then his head plowed itself firmly into the sand....

Julie blinks a few times, trying to figure out what just happened. She quickly realizes that it was a person and jumps up, running over to help him get his head out of the sand. "Are you ok?"

Senya had been tailing this glimmering ship for a few days now. She had paid a man to give the ships captains false coordinated for an island, and he had preformed beautifully. Now she was all set up to steal it. She landed around the edge of the bay, out of site of the glimmering ship. She then crept through the nearby forest and approached the ship. All of a sudden, she heard the crackling of branshed behind and turned swiftly. She was confronted with a man tumbling down the hill, heading straight for her. Senya expertly ducked as the man flew over her, and crashed face first into the sand. The captain of the ship went over to help him and Senya's eyes sparkled "Chance!" She dashed behind the captain and jumped silently onto the boat. From there she crept below deck searching for the treasure that was sure to be on a ship as lavish and decorated as this one.

Aaron felt his head wrenched out of the sand with a slight popping sound. His eyes roll up for a moment before he gives himself a shake and plops back onto his butt. "Whazzat" he says dazedly. Sand runs out of his hair and past his nose, which wrinkles back in the precursor to a sneeze..
"Phft no!" He yelps, spitting sand and clapping his hands over his face.

Julie barely gets her face pulled away before he sneezes and then giggles softly, "I asked if you were ok. You took quite a tumble there. Are you hurt at all?" She brushes some sand off his back and shoulders as she inspects him for any cuts or broken bones.

Rushie was walking aimlessly throughout town, staring at the sky try to see which cloud formations look sillier than the other. He was so caught up in the sky that he never payed attention on what is in front of him. Before he knew it, he slammed into a wall of a building, leaving an indent on the wall where his face is. Rushie rubbed his face to relieve the pain, ut then to notice a glimmering ship docked at bay from afar. Considering Rushie, he don't really care about what's going on, but thinking about adventures and his dad made him consider to check this out. He adjusted his sunglasses and fixed his sword and just clamly walked over to the docks.

When he reached the glimmering ship, Rushie noticed that nobody was around the ship. Knowing from his dad that he could just steal the ship while the owner is gone, he never really bother with it, besides he's to lazy to do all of that. So he did the right thing and just sat on the floor near the ship, leaned on a post and took a relaxing glance of the sea. Slowly nodding away to sleep but holding himself back.

"HAAAAAAAACHOOOOOOO" Aaron let forth an epic sneeze...

"Shit" She said, looking down at herself in irritation. "I was having a good run too"
She waves the blond woman away "Thank you thank you I'm fine, really" She says as she stands up, brushing off he pants of the sand that was clinging to them.

Julie falls back on her butt, blinking a few times in disbelief, her mouth hanging open. "Y...You...weren't you just a.........guy?" she asks incredulously.

Aaron grimaces momentarily then smiles brightly "Yep, but people say I look better this way" she said brightly, smoothing her hand over her hair and down her side before walking over and thrusting out her hand to help the blond girl up "The names Aaron Shell, you are?"

Julie takes the offered hand and pulls herself up before shaking the hand with a smile, "Captain Julie Souheki. Nice to meet you." She motions towards the shimmering, gemmed ship that's docked a few hundred yards away. "That's mine. The Jewel of West Blue."

"Captain eh?" She comments, "Its a nice ship..kind of..shiny?" she cocks her head to the side, flipping her braid over her shoulder to make sure it had not been messed up in the fall. "So why did you come here..looking for something..I cant imagine anyone coming here on purpose" satisfied that the braid was all in order she flipped it back over he shoulder and picked up her bag, opening it and pulling out her cartography gear "This is one of the most boring Islands I have been on so far" She said, laying out the gear to make sure it was not broken.

With a grin she holds up a hand and her nails shift into shiny jewels and elongate a bit, "It's shiny to match me." She lowers her hand as she continues, "I came here because I was told that there was a town here that I could find crew members in......" She trails off a bit, eying the cartography gear. "You're...a navigator?" She tilts her head a bit, looking over the guy...girl...whatever.

She cocks her head to the side and studies the woman in front of her, shifting about a bit as if she had something in her shirt...Ignoring that for the moment she smiles,flashing straight white teeth and her eyes crinkling up in mirth. "yes I am a Navigator, a map maker....and on some days an artist..." she said, Leaning back onto heels and looking up at her with her arms crossed onto her knees. "There is a ton around the other side of the Island..but as for crew members...well... not many people come here" She pauses to think " though there are a few strangers in town that may be interested...." She taps her cheek with a finger thoughtfully "I guess I could take you there when I'm done here..." she grins again at the captain.

Rushie was kinda getting bored waiting all day waiting for whoever's ship this is. He yawned and went on over to talk to a few people around the port to see whose ship this is. Some people didn't know, other's where too stubborn to talk. So Rushie just headed over to town to figure out who is the captain of the shimmering ship.

Julie's face lights up as the other...person says they're a navigator, "Are you...um...perhaps...looking for a ship to join? I could really -really- use a navigator. As for taking me, I'd love that. Perhaps we could find other people to join us? If, that is, you'd like to join me." Her eyes get big and a bit watery and her mouth curls into a begging frown with her lower lip sticking out and quivering slightly, "Please?"

She cocks her head to he side again, sticking her tongue out slightly as she checked her last piece of gear. "Join your crew, oh I dunno.I kinda just wonder" she said as she put the last bits in and looked back over towards the ship.." I could join.." she started " Hey...do you have any other crew members" she said quietly as she pointed towards a lone figure scampering on the ship...

Julie arches an eyebrow as she holds her hands to her face, making her scope. As she zooms in on the boat she mutters under her breath, "No...I don't. Would you like to help me take care of a possible thief?" She breaks out into a run towards her ship, thinking about the best way to confront this person...they could be really strong for all she knows.

Rushie, after asking only a few people he sees, was getting irritated for not finding who owns the shiny ship. He was too embraced into getting on the ship and finding his father that he actually went back and hung around the port. Still he never saw anyone going to the ship, so he asks everyone around the port again, just to see if they know anyone who came out of the ship. Someone did say that they saw a blurry figure heading inside the ship, so Rushie started to get serious. He adjusted his sunglasses and clutched onto his sword as he makes in way onboard the ship to observed that blurry figure.

Senya was desperately trying to prepare the ship to set off, but for some reason the ropes were all set up in an odd manner. that coupled with the fact that every few second she recieve a blast of sunlight to the eyes from a different directed disoriented her greatly. She succeeded in dropping the sail, but realized she forgot to untie the sip from the small dock it was moored to. She ran to the edge of the ship and started undoing the rope. As she leaned over the side she noticed some figures heading towards here. "EEP!" she let out a small scream and headed back into the ship.

Julie screams as she sees the sail drop, "Get the heck offa my ship! Don't even think about trying to steal it or you'll be hunted down for the rest of your life!!!"
