freedict only does one word though... and sometimes there are no translations to be found for a word you want... its finicky

It contains a wide variety of words along with their definitions and appropriate nouns, verbs, adjectives and their proper use. EG: You don't want to use the noun "run" as in: going for a run; when you wanted to use he verb "run" as in: to run away. As there are often, in different languages, alternate words for different uses of what in American English would be only a single word.

Most other translation sites, regardless of which languages they offer, only offer you a single word or list of words without informing you as to their use or definition. In short, make sure your resources are adequate for the task in mind.
