History: Born on a small island in the West Blue, his life and his islands would probably been nothing more then a foot-note in history; if not for one thing. When he was four years old Pirates came to his sleepy little island and turned it into its own cirlce of hell. Using it as their base, they kept a contingent there at all times and the people living there were givin no rest. Some of them were sold as slaves, others were killed on a whim. after the first year there were none left except for Val, who was used as a slave by the Pirates. During his second year of captivity, his body broken and his mind teetering on the edge he discovered that there was a Dragons Fruit in the pirates stronghold. His back to the wall and with no other choice he stole the fruit and ate it, hoping to use its powers to at least gain vengeance. his plan backfired, the Ryuu Ryuu fruit gave him power, but after eating it his first transformation thrust him over the edge in both mind and body and he dropped into a coma for a week.
When he awoke, he was chained and caged in the middle of the Pirate compound...the next three years of his life were spent either in the cage, being fought against random creatures, or being poked and prodded mercilessly. All for the pirates own amusement. He could not remember his own name, much less how to transform back into his human form. On the 6th year of his captivity, almost when he had resigned himself to his fate..the Marines showed up. The mai pirate ships were out at sea, and the Marines easily swept aside the few that were there. During the battle someone accidently freed Val, and such was his fury against the pirates that the Marines gave him the name that he uses today, the "Valiant Azure", alluding to the gleaming Sapphire colors that his feathers were and the savagry in wich he attacked the pirates. When it was all said and done, his fury against his captors spent..he collapsed and resumed his natural form. The Marines were extremely suprised but took the boy with them. The years passed and the boy grew to a man and joined the Marines, where he has served with honor for the last 26 years. He is now the captain of his own ship, and while he still wishes his vengeance against the pirates the destroyed his old life, however the needs of his crew comes first.


Personality: Grim, he rarely speaks except to give an order. In battle he is totally silent. Honorable to a fault, he will give any enemy the chance to surrendor..but if they do not then he fights them without mercy

Devil Fruit:
Name : Ryuu Ryuu No Mi (Dragon Dragon Fruit)
Capabilities: With this fruit the user is able to take the form of a dragon (Sennenryu, thousand year dragon) A winged dragon that does not have front claws, only hind ones. It has feathers that cover its whole body except for its scaly head and jaws, and its claws which are bird-like. This fruit grants the user one other form other then the one he was born with. the users original form also increases in size and strength
Full- The user becomes a fully grown Sennenryu, becoming extremly strong with the ability to fly, and to carry up to three people on his back. The jaws of this form are large and seen as its most fearsome weapon, though its roar is not to be trifled with nor are its claws.

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
Form Abilities:
Tail Sweep- When on the ground and in Full Ryuu form, Val can sweep his tail around and slam it into enemies, causing some damage and throwing them to the ground
Tail Slam- When flying, val dives right above the enemy, and before pulling up he flicks his tail and slams it into the enemy.
Roar- an earth shattering roar that rattles nearby enemies.
Granting Flight- Val grabs the enemy in his claws and flies high into the air, letting them go to plummet to the ground. He is not very manouravable when carrying someone like this.
Bite-Val chomps down on the enemy
Wing Buffet- Two different attacks, either Val actually hits the enemy with his wings, or he will flap extremely hard on the ground, raising dust and knocking enemies to the ground.
Strafe- Flying low above the ground, Val strikes at any foes with his claws.
Sword Techniques:
Vengeance Strike- Running towards the enemy, he lets his blade drag on the ground and brings it up into a massive uppercut. Lifts the enemy off the ground if it makes contact
Vendetta Blow- thinking of every wrong done to him, he throws the blade over his shoulder and comes down with a massive overhead strike. Extremely slow attack but extrememly damaging if able to strike.
Echoes of the past- Taking flight in his Ryuu form, he soars above the enemy and transforms back, as he flies towards the ground and the enemy he extends his body and thrusts the blade out in front of him. this attack maims enemies, but it also has a high chance of extrememly hurting and or killing Val.
Sweeping Blow- Val broadly swings the sword, hitting any friend or foe in front of him.

Goals: Vengeance is what drives him... He hunts those pirates that were not at the Island whenever the Marines came. On top of his normal duties.
