Sorry for double posting, but the forum is empty so it doesn't matter anyway. For the previous similarities:
Big Mom had a crew full of freaks just like the Dusk Pirates did.
The Dusk Pirates had a musical based arc once.
A weapon named Zeus appeared in one of the arcs of the crew.
Maximillion could control two different elements from each hand, similarly with Linlin who used Zeus and Prometheus for fire and electricity.
Maximillion's brother and subordinate, Manta, could create eggs with his DF and had a DF weapon that could transform people into chicken, while Linlin had Baron Tamago. In fact, Manta's DF was the Tago Tago no Mi, whime Tamago's was the Tama Tama no Mi which both stemmed from the word Tamago which means Egg.
Both crews had a talking animal.
Finally, Maximillion was a lunatic, just like Linlin.
One Bonus is that I once made a character who had a DF that could use books in a similar way Mont d'Or did, but this has nothing to do with the Dusk Pirates.
But I guess these coincidences are pure luck.
