You're in a thread with guy with a really powerful weapon and somehow
this person dies.
Now you want this weapon so you go over take it, and survive to the end of the thread. So what now? Do you have to pay for a sword that you just robbed off of some stiff? Nope, not anymore; you don’t. Weapons can be looted from dead PC's and staff made NPC's. These NPC's do not include staff made NPC's from regular threads but NPC's such as titled characters and event characters.
In the event that the weapon is not claimed by the end of the thread, two things can now happen. One the owner of the deceased character can sell it for 60% of the original price or they can pass it down to another character. The inheritor of the weapon has to pay 10% of the original price to the original owner that can be used towards character retirement.
Note: This is not limited to just ”weapons”. Any belli purchased item can be passed down or looted.
