Name: Garasu-Garasu No Mi (Glass Glass Fruit)
Type: Logia.
Appearance: The fruit looks like an normal sized orange is shape and texture, but is a light, glossy green in color. It looks a bit like a green glass beer bottle, though a bit more opaque. The inside is a few shades lighter, with about the same texture as the inside of an orange.
Effect: The Glass Glass Fruit can turn its user into a Glass Person, and essentially gives them power over glass.
The user can then create glass in any shape they can imagine (this would be a lot like Aokiji's Hie Hie no Mi ability when producing ice.). The appearance of the glass that the user creates, which usually comes from the hands, can either appear very jagged, or smooth like blown glass. The default glass is usually a dark, translucent green, like beer bottles, however, completely clear, or other variations of glass are possible with practice. Depending on how thick/hard of glass the user produces, it can be used as a defense or for offense. Again, however, it is just glass, and is weak against repeated blunt force or extreme temperatures. Its a better defense against liquid or gaseous attacks.
Aside from self-created glass, the user can also alter and use pre-existing glass, such as windows, bottles, or sea glass. This gives them the ability to change the shape, and if enough materials are provided, the thickness/hardness of the glass, by compressing it. The user has to be in direct contact with the materials for them to control it properly. If they cannot touch it, they cannot change it, likewise, just touching a little will give control over all of it. (i.e. if the user were to couch just the corner of a large stained glass window with one finger, he would have control over the entire plate of glass.) If glass that the user is controlling comes into contact with other non-controlled glass, that glass can be absorbed and controlled as well. Although this ability can be used as a good offense/defense, it can also be easily be taken advantage of. If a foe attacks before the user has a change to properly harden the glass, then it will not withstand the attack, leaving an upper hand for foes with high speed abilities. Likewise, attempting to control large quantities of glass usually leaves the user vulnerable for close range attacks.
Although it isn't exactly anything helpful during a battle, I would still like to note it. If the user of the fruit is wounded, example being: stabbed through the abdomen, the skin and flesh around the wound will appear like broken glass. The user still bleeds normally although might leak shards of glass as well, and the wound is just as harmful as it would be to a normal human. The only difference is in the appearance. If the user comes in contact with fresh glass, however, they do have the ability to absorb and patch themselves up using that glass. The process takes a few minutes, mind you, and will not work if the wound is forcefully kept open in any way (i.e. if they are stabbed through with a sword, they cannot attempt to heal themselves until the sword is taken out of the wound. Likewise, burns, missing chunks of flesh, or infections take much longer to heal, and require more glass to be absorbed). Another note: a user cannot use glass they had previously created to absorb and heal a wound. This dispels the possibility of simply creating and absorbing glass unlimitedly.
