Outer description: The Otava is rather simply constructed, containing the bare minimum of everything required to make it function. It isn’t specially decorated, or really even painted. The only paint on it is black, and used primarily on the edges of the ship and its handrails and such. The sails themselves are white, and only one is emblazoned with the Jolly Roger. It looked like the sail had been recently replaced, as it’s the only one that’s made of black fabric. There three cannons on either side of the ship, and otherwise the Otava is unremarkable.

Inner description: The ship has three bedrooms, one for the captain, four for crewmates, and the four crewmate rooms can be modified slightly to allow for two people to sleep in those rooms. There is also a kitchen area, a storeroom for foodstuffs and water, two restrooms, two long rooms on either side containing the cannons, and a cargo room containing any plunder and wealth. The ship is primarily powered by the wind.

History: The Otava was originally a trading ship owned by a merchant. It was initially named the “Golden Vase”, but it was stolen from its merchant owner by Alioth Elkeid and his teacher Kochab. It is currently being used by the Polaris Instigators, with some hired help to help Alioth keep the thing running until he gets more hands on deck.
