Wyatt tossed the hot metal of his newly forged blade into a barrel of water and stretched. Long hours shaping and hammering steel put a lot of strain on one's muscles, and he was ready to take a break and gain his bearing. He charged onto the deck of the ship with a wide grin on his face seeking out his navigator. All of the hired crew on his ship didn't know him personally but it didn't take long for them to become friendly in Wyatt's presence, it was almost as if he emitted an aura of being laid back that made everybody feel better.

"Captain Beryl! We're almost to our destination!" Shouted the navigator from across the ship. This day was just getting better and better, soon enough he would be able to start making sales.

Vic squinted against the harsh glare of the forge as he turned the white hot tube of steel in the coals. he wiped his brow absently as he stared at the piece intently, it was close to the final stages and he did not want to mess it up.
He swayed easily with the motion of the ship as it rolled over the waves. his hand reached out almost of its own accord to grab the tongs, and with practiced ease moving almost perfectly with the ships roll he reached into the forge and deftly plucked the tube out. He quenched the metal in a bucket of saltwater with the hiss of an angry cat and a billow of steam. He placed the cooling tube on a special stand, one that prevented it from rolling and examined it closely for any imperfections.

With a contented sigh he stood up fully, placing his hands on his back he stretched backwards and grimaced as his back popped and crackled. "Well, that will do for today" he murmered to himself. He looked towards the hatch that led out to the deck, and hearing the Navigator cry out "Captain Beryl! We're almost to our destination!" made him smile slightly to himself. "that should make Wyatt happy" he muttered as he made his way towards the deck.

"GREAT! Full speed ahead, all of you work as hard as you can to get us there as fast as we can! We're gonna be like the wind into that harbor! VINC! Gather up your stuff its almost time to start selling! Hoo boy this is gonna be fun, I wonder what the people in this town are going to be like..."

He charged to the bow of the ship and squinted into the distance. He could make out the outline of the port they were headed to but he couldn't tell if it was industrious or not. A smile tugged at his lips, me might have time to make one more blade before he got into town. He charged back to his forge, took a big swill of his oil and grabbed a bar of steel before spewing the oil from his mouth in a fine mist into a match, creating a flame hot enough to make the steel malleable.

Vic poked his head out of the hatch, taking in the bustling deck as the sailors went about the buisness of preparing to make port. When he heard Wyatt he ducked back inside and went to his cabin next to the work area.
Sitting on the bed was a large bag that he had made up earlier of stuff that he was going to sell this port, he closed the door. On the back of the door were 6 pistols of different make and size in holsters on a specially built rack.He started pulling gun belts off the rack and strapping them on, settling them comfortably on various parts of his torso. That done he scooped up the bag and went out on deck. Holding it over his shoulder with one arm he put his hand on the back of his head and stretched in the sun and the breeze.
"Ahh, its a beautiful day" he said to noone in particular

Wyatt heated the metal until it was glowing then laid in on the anvil. With precision and speed he hammered down the edges, shaping the metal to his exact liking. He tempered the blade to be sharp, but not too sharp, and then put his final touches on it. As the last part of shaping the blade he grabbed a small metal trinket from out of his pocket and held it over the bottom of the blade. With a few taps the old man's signature mark was on the blade and he dropped it into the barrel of water. After that he gathered all of his finished blades and charged back out onto the deck.

"ARE WE THERE YET?!"

Victor deftly stepped aside as Wyatt came barreling up onto the deck. He eyed the armful of sharp metal in the captains arms warily and backs away a couple steps. Looking towards the bow of the ship, the buildings of the port city they were sailing towards were coming into sharper focus.

"Almost there Wyatt" Vic said, pointing towards the town "By the way, what was the name of this place again?"

"Beats me yo! I just told the navigator to take us to a town and thats what he did! Good navigator eh? Knows where we're going even when we don't know where we're going. I knew I chose to hire the right one!"

Wyatt began organizing the blades he had in his arms, putting them in order by make and blade length. It was always easier to sell when things looked nice. Once he was done he pulled a piece of cloth from a barrel and wrapped the blades inside so he wouldn't cut his arms all up trying to carry them all at once.

"Lets just hope he can find the marketplace eh?"

Vic reached up to fix his glasses, hiding a grin. He started to walk towards the bow of the ship "Im sure well be able to find the market without the help of our navigator Wyatt" He said.
Whenever he got to the bow of the ship he propped his foot up on the railing and adjusted the bag on his shoulder, staring at the fast approaching town. He grinned into the spray kicked up, they should be docking in a couple of minutes...

Wyatt huffed and scowled at Vic a little. It was the closest thing to anger most of his crew ever saw out of him.

"I told you to call me Beryl yo, remember? Gotta spread the name."

And no sooner had the sentence escaped his lips did his usual idiotic grin take over his face. It was only a few more moments before they had docked, and just in time it seemed. One or two more ships were right behind them, but they managed to get the last dock on the busy port. Wyatt was the first one onto shore as well, nothing was going to stand between him and the potential buyers.

Vic was right behind him, Leaping over the railing onto the dock and landing right behind Wyatt in a crouch. He fixed the bag on his shoulder and ran after his captian down the dock..where was the market..he thought to himself as the end of the dock came and went at a blur. Vic saw a sign flash by them as they continued to belt their way down the harbor front, he skidded to a halt.
"Wya..err..BERYL" he yells, his boots sliding across the cobblestones "THIS WAY" he points down the side street, Wyatts excitement rubbing off on him. He regains his footing again and belts off down the street.

Wyatt skidded to a halt and immediately bolted after Vic. He charged through the crowd, probably knocking several people over before managing to catch up to him.

"Guess paying attention to signs saves a bit of time and effort eh? Lets do this!"

Once he had reached the marketplace he charged to the nearest open spot he could find and set up a stand, and with a brilliant flourish he opened up the cloth full of blades he had packed and they fell into place on the stand in the most decorative fashion he could think to put them in.

"OOOOPEEEEEEN FOOOOOOR BUSINEEEEEEESS!"

While Wyatt went about setting up the stall, Vic dropped his bag near wyatts stuff. Assuming that it would be ok where he left it he went off into the market to grab him and Wyatt some food. They were going to be here all day so they needed enough to last them that long. It was not like they could really leave the stall once it was set up.
Spying a stall selling meat pies, he set off "Ill be back in a bit Beryl" he called over his shoulder, amazed that the stall was almost set up when they had just got there. he sure was getting into this...
