Name:  Yami Yami no Mi (Darkness Fruit)
 
Type: Logia
 
Effect: The character that eats this fruit gains the abilities to control, create and manipulate darkness.  With the said abilities over the aforementioned element, the user becomes a darkness man.  Thanks to its powerful and many abilities due to the darkness's inherent nature to manipulate gravity much like the theoretical and mysterious black hole, the fruit is said to be the most powerful among the logia type fruits.  The gravity aspect of the fruit allows the user to pull in and absorb matter and energy, being so powerful even light cannot escape its pull.  In general the pulling and absorbing power is especially effective on devil fruit users and their respective elements.  Once something is absorbed by the darkness or the user, it is stuck in an endless void were the gravity crushes and breaks everything the user pulls in.  Despite all of the power of the pull ability, it is not absolute.  If the user is distracted by a powerful attack and or knocked out, the pull will be canceled.  Likewise, once an object is inside the space it isn't completely obliterated like it would be in a real black hole; in fact the intense gravity inside the void can be survived if the opposing force has a his enough endurance.

During a clash with a foe that can create an infinite amount of an element like the user, the yami will always win or cancel out the attack unless the other element is over twice as powerful as the yami due to the absorptive abilities of the darkness itself.  An example of this would be a fire logia shoots flame as the darkness fruit user shoots darkness.  If the darkness user as 10% and the fire user has 20% the darkness would absorb 10% of the 20% and then cancel out the remaining 10%.  In order for the flame user to overwhelm the darkness user at 10%, it would have to have a minimum of 21% devil fruit power.  

The fruit's main weakness is also, arguably its biggest strength; the user pulls passively (albeit weakly compared to their conscious pull) increasing the damage they take.  Damage taken being from the user’s passive ability, decreases as user’s mastery of the fruit progresses.  The yami yami is the only logia type fruit that does not possess an intangible form allowing the user to take damage from anything they failed to absorb in.  In combination with the increased damage from the passive pull coming off the user, the disadvantage can easily become deadly.  

Perhaps the most frightening ability of the fruit is the fact is can truly nullify devil fruit power by touch with no exceptions.  This ability is more effective than any other similar abilities such as armament haki, seastone, and even seawater as they at most weaken the fruit user.  Once the user touched the enemy devil fruit user, it's like they had never possessed the fruit at all.  The power works on all three types of devil fruit without fail.  Even the intangibility ability of a logia user is utterly stopped with a simple touch from the user of the yami yami.  The only way for the enemy fruit user to regain their abilities is to break away from the users grasp, which when combined with the pulling ability is a difficult task to say the least.  

Even though the yami yami lacks the ability to go into some kind of intangible form, it does have the other logia like abilities.  The fruit is immune to both the darkness and the gravity that it can produce.  Arguably, like Ace was immune to the house fire during his battle with Black Beard, the yami yami would most likely be immune to the effects of other sources of gravity and or darkness including others using fruits.

Growth Curve:

0%- The user has a strange attraction to them.  If something falls, it almost always falls towards the user.
10%- A small bit of control is awarded to the user at this point.  They can cover their hand or any portion of their body similar in size and pull things towards themselves.  
20%- The user is able to user both cover both hands in darkness.  
30%- The user can cover their whole body in darkness or create a circle of darkness within five meters of themselves.  In both versions the touch ability can be used.
40%- The user can cover their body and make a ten meter circle or create a twenty meter circle of darkness.  At this point the user can create small to medium constructs from darkness.  All barriers and constructs are considered a part of the limit in length.  For example a wolf could travel farther than twenty meters however it would subtract somewhere around four meters of darkness to make.  The subtraction would last until the users next turn.  The user unlocks the ability to cancel out any devil fruit powers by a simple touch.   
50%- The user can create a fifty meter wave or area of darkness in one direction or thirty in a circle.  Anytime the user creates a wave or on directional path of darkness the path is always half as wide as it is long.  Constructs from the user’s element can be as large as an elephant.  The users pull evolves to the next scale.  The user is able to enter their void dimension for a short time (three turns).  Void Zone Gear unlocked.  
60%- The user can create a circle around them that is 100 meters in every direction or 150 meters in one direction.
70%- The user can create barriers of darkness around themselves that will protect them from oncoming attacks.  These barriers abide by the laws set in the Gravity Pull Scale listed below.  This means, anything (not made with devil fruit powers) that does not break through the barriers is absorbed into the users void dimension.  The users range is doubled, so 200 meters around them and 300m in front.  The user’s gains an additional two turns in the void dimension at one time (5).  Void Shift Gear unlocked.
80%- The user can extend their range to 1 kilometer for length or 500m to circle them.  Vortex Pull Gear unlocked.
90%- The user can extend their range double of what the previous level allowed.  This means 2km long or 1km in a circle around them.  Remember every construct they make subtracts from the amount of darkness the user can use for that turn.  Void Colossus Gear unlocked.
100%- The can create an infinite amount of their darkness; however they are limited to a 5km radius of their selves.  That's enough to completely cover some smaller islands.  The user can enter and leave as well as stay as long as they please in their void dimension.  Kuroano Rasengan Gear unlocked.

Gravity Pull Scale:

10% - 40%: Anything that hasn't consumed a devil fruit, trying to get out of the user’s grasp has to have speed or strength equal to or greater than the user’s fruit mastery.  Any devil fruit user or beast made from a devil fruit must have both speed and strength equal to or greater than the users devil fruit mastery.

50% - 70%: Anything caught in the users pull must have both speed and strength equal to or greater than the user’s devil fruit mastery.  Any devil fruit user or beast made from a devil fruit must have both speed and strength greater than the user’s devil fruit mastery.

80% - 100%  Anything caught in the users pull must have both speed and strength greater than the users devil fruit mastery.  Any devil fruit user or beast made from a devil fruit must have both speed and strength greater than double the user’s devil fruit mastery.

Darkness Absorption Rate:  The absorption rate is based on both the users level of mastery and the opponents endurance.  For the rate of absorption of a non-devil fruit using personal character into the darkness, the rate is figured by a formula using both the user devil fruit mastery and the foes endurance.  To find the rate or amount of turns it takes for the foe to be absorbed into the void one must take the other party's endurance and divide it by the user's devil fruit mastery.  For example, if a enemy was captured by the darkness and had 100% endurance; while the yami yami user had 100% devil fruit mastery, they would have one (1) post to try and break free or be saved be another party.  The rate which devil fruit users are absorbed into the darkness is twice as fast as that of a non-devil fruit user.  

Discharge:  The user has the ability to discharge anything or anyone they take in with the darkness.  Discharge rates or the speed of the discharge is equal to the user's current fruit mastery.  100% devil fruit mastery equal 100% speed for the discharge.  The speed of the discharge is can be slowed by the user, however the maximum is determined by their fruit mastery.  Even if the user has more matter in the void dimension, they cannot discharge more matter than what their fruit can take it at any given turn.  

Note on The Void Dimension: Anything sucked into the used void dimension takes on damage equal to the user’s devil fruit mastery per turn.  This continues until the user releases or the other party escapes from their void dimension.  Even with the continuous damage from the overwhelming gravity, the same affect that deals damage also keep the trapped person or person from dying.  The intense gravity keeps the soul or life force of the victim bound to their bodies.  The same rule does not apply to the manifested void dimension the user can use as a gear as any damage cannot proceed without time.  Like the

Note on The Pull Ability:  Anything being pulled in by the fruit has to either be touched directly by the user or the darkness the user manifests.  For example if the foe is standing at twenty-one meters away from the user and the user's limit is twenty meters the pull ability would have no effect.  This true as long as a specific a gear slot isn’t directly involved.  If at any time the contact between the user and object or character that is being pulled in is broken, the effects of the pull are also broken.  

Note on Escape:  While it is difficult to escape the void dimension, it is not impossible.  The dimension's ability to keep it's captive in an eternal hell pit of pain is also what allows it's captives to escape.  Even while in captivity, it is possible for person characters to grow.  If at anytime a character being held captive in the void dimension achive strength and or speed, at which they would have been able to avoid capture (depending on the conditions set by the yami yami user's devil fruit mastery in the Gravity Pull Scale) that character can break the hold the void dimension has on them.  

Void Zone Gear: The user can manifest their void dimension into a dome like room of darkness.  In the manifested void room, the gravity is so intense that not even time can move forward.  In theory nothing other than the user, and whatever the user pulls in, should be able to enter the room; while it's manifested like such.  This is due to the impossibly high density created by layer of matter outside the infinite level of gravity that is the void zone.  Like time, if someone or something other than the user did manage to enter; it would be subject to the super intense time stopping gravity.  The user is able to keep the room open for three turns at a time in exchange for 25% endurance.  5% endurance is subtracted from the cost for every % level the user achieves after 50% until it hits 5% at which time it will not drop any lower.  

Void Shift Gear: The gear allows user enters their void zone at a certain point in space and then exit at another point in space.  This ability can be used with either the manifested or regular void dimensions.  The user has the ability to pull anything in the void dimension out with them while exiting.  While it doesn't really have duration the user loses 15% endurance while using it.  This is subtracted by 5% for every % level gained until it stops at 5%.  At 70% it uses 15%, while at 80% it will user 10% and so on.  

Vortex Pull Gear: The user creates a large vortex out of darkness.  This allows the pull effect to extend past the normal limitations of the darkness.  Anything within 50% of the range (so basically the normal range plus half of that number becomes the new range) is pulled in as if it was within the normal range.  The Gravity Pull Scale applies to the Vortex in the same way it does to the regular version.  This gear takes 30% endurance to use and lasts for up to 10 turns.  The gear loses 10% cost as it reaches a new % level.

Void Colossus Gear: The user creates a massive humanoid colossus from their manifested darkness.  The gear in essence is a massive construct of the darkness the user can create in colossus form, in exchange for 10% endurance a turn.  This form lasts as long as the user keeps it up or until their endurance gives out, whichever comes first.  The colossus itself is 300 feet tall and half of that wide.  It takes the form of the users "inner demon" so the form can vary slightly.  Like the user's regular darkness, anything that touches it is subject to the pll scale and then the absorption rate.  If someone or something were to be caught and then absorbed it would be sent to the void zone.

Kuroano Rasengan Gear:  The user creates a massive spiraling sphere above their head by holding one or two hands in their air and focusing all of their darkness into the space above them.  The amount of the darkness the user can place into the sphere is limited to the amount the user is able to create at 100%.  At the 5km radius the ball would be limited to around 80km squared which would make its radius significantly less than the 5km.  For the sake of saving everyone a bunch of complicated math let’s say the sphere has an outward radius from the center to every outside point of 1km.  The Kuroano Rasengan absorbs devil fruit created material at twice the rate of normal.  This means that a devil fruit created material would need to have 31% of devil fruit master for every 10% devil fruit mastery the yami yami user has.  The original 10% absorbs on impact 20% and then would cancel out another 10% with volume.  It takes the user 30% endurance and five (5) motionless posts to create.

Alright, general ability is roughly 90AP

In summary, the gear total is about 65AP

Avoiding the long detailed explanation, I rate this fruit at 155AP.



P.S. It's been a while since a fruit has been submitted, so I may be a bit rusty. I'd check with crow before you take my decision as being final. As long as his estimate is within 5-15 I'd say it's fine, given the power of the fruit.
