| A massive pit like arena, dug into the ground sits upon a large deposit of iron ore. In the sky above a vicious and constant storm brews. Massive bolts of lightning are seen raining down to earth or blasting across the sky. Every now and again a lone but massive lightning bolt strikes inside of the iron laced arena. The rock under area that was hit glows a bright red, however only for a moment before it's snuffed out. The island is one of the first choices for an adventurer who has made it to the second half of the Grandline, Raijin Island. It literally rains down lightning onto those foolish or brave enough to step upon its scorched shores. -5% endurance to everyone touching the dome at the end of each post cycle. -10% endurance to anyone who flies more than 3.5 meters into the air.

| Dante appeared in the middle of an arena with rain of lightning hailing down at him, but mostly the ground. Dante immediately summoned a partial dome so he could see his opponents while being shielded then summoned sand under his feet like a foot umbrella. This should protect him from the weather, and Gale as well. As the lightning touched the metal ground the sand kept Dante and Gale safe, however Dante didn't know about his opponents. Just to make sure Dante summoned a sand tsunami in front of him and hurled it towards the opponent's. Dante's idea was to crush them under 16 tons of sand. Once the attack reached it's length, about 50 meters and 50 feet tall, Dante walked on top of it without worrying as much about the lightning striking its every position. He had less troubles while walking in sand.
Kaizen suddenly saw a giant tsunami appear in front of him. He didn't have much of a chance to evade it and he knew his partner couldn't fly too high with the lightning moving about at such speeds. Kaizen only hoped his partner would find out something quick, because the sand tsunami was heading right towards them.. and it didn't look like they'd survive if they got hit. Kaizen couldn't do anything so he clenched his fist and gritted his teeth. His brains couldn't save him from this force in this atmosphere. If he got struck by the lightning Kaizen knew he'd probably die. It was better if he had a quick and painless death. Suddenly the sand tsunami went on top of him and it caved in. Once the tsunami slammed into the ground the force generated caused a minor tremor to shake the ground. Kaizen died almost instantly; there was nothing he could do (he can't run away form the sand tsunami).
While Dante walked he had his large sand ceiling follow him around, with Gale next to him so it was protecting Gale as well. The ceiling was about 12 feet in radius, this gave the lightning nearly no room to hit them from an angle.

| Gale was standing besides Dante. The lightning that rained down from the sky was beautiful in a way, but a symbol of death if it managed to hit the contestants directly or indirectly. It certainly scared him a little bit. Fortunately, Dante seemed to take care of that and he covered the ground with sand as well as summoning a dome to protect them from the hailing thunderbolts.
Gale was ready to fight, but Dante seemed to take care of it even before he could make a move. He summoned a tremendous tsunami of sand towards the opponents. One of them just turned stiff, he knew he didnt have a chance and he was completely hit by it. The sand turned into his tomb and his killer at the same time.
When Gale and Dante moved, the ceiling created by his companion seemed to follow them around. How useful. Gale was ready to react in case the other opponent survived, he was sending clay through the sand that was on the floor of the arena and extending it so that it would have a large enough area where he could use it to attack.

| Pyro sighed. He had high hopes for his survival, but for some reason he had not felt confident about this next challenge. He looked around... And as if all his gut instinct was confirmed, here comes a giant tsunami of sand. He didn't know about his partner. He knew he could survive with his sacred form, but as stupid as it seemed, he would try to protect him. Going into his corrupted form, he prepared to take a hard hit. He had the endurance for it, and he was literally on fire.
Corrupt Form
Corrupt Arc
Pyro attacked with his corrupt arc, right as the sand would hit him and his partner. He felt himself suddenly being crushed by massive force, but he wasn't dead. As it turned out, he reduced the sand hitting him by a small amount, only to turn a slightly larger amount into glass from the heat and pressure. That saved them. Or at least, he thought his partner survived, but it didn't look like they would be for long.
Sacred Form
Pyro used his strength to pull himself out of the sand, dragging his partner with him, pyro was exhausted, and likely going to lose. Maybe they'd get lucky? He'd find it lucky if his partner even survived.

| Dante walked around until he saw a body coming out of the pits of sand. The man, covered in what looked like flames, took out a body and left him on the ground. The body was obviously mangled, basically destroyed by the pressure of the sand. Dante created a sphere in his hand that rotated at very high speeds while walking towards the enemy. Suddenly blades appeared from his sphere about 10 feet wide and capable of cutting iron while simultaneously sucking fluid from the enemies. The body that Pyro held was not moving, but the man that left the sand with the body in his hands was likely capable of resisting Dante's attack. If Pyro got his his body will be both completely cut and deprived of water. In five posts Pyro could die of dehydration, if it wasn't for his healing powers. Ten blades were sent at him in random angles to attempt to penetrate him in several ways (giggity).
Dante watched the blades come at him then created a second on his palm just in case. Dante didn't know what Gale was going to do, but whatever it was would probably help in some way. With ten blades heading towards the opponent though it didn't look necessary. Dante was surprised the enemy had even survived. He was one of the first to have ever survived Dante's sand tsunami. On top of that he managed to climb out of the sand with another body.

| Gale was surprised that their second opponent managed to withstand the tremendous weight of the sand tsunami and the destructive properties of his companion's element. The enemy was proving to be a worthy opponent... at least if you compared him to his partner who had died instantly, or the other guys they had fought before. To Gale, this had been an easy tournament... not that much because of his own ability, but because he was paired up with the right person. In any other combination, he didnt think he could have beaten Dante.
When Dante decided to fling sand blades at the enemy, Gale decided to simultaneously use the clay that he had hidden below his opponent's feet and raise a four meter long chain of clay spikes that were as hard as steel. These were around three meters tall, and came out instantly, trying to predict the path of escape of the opponent as well. Their extension through the terrain made the ideal for preventing escape.
Gale didn't think that the opponent would be able to survive the combination of Dante's attack and his own, but just in case, he created more clay and concealed it below the sandy sheet.

| Time slowed down. From the moment he realized his partner was dead, he new he was gone. It seemed like hours in instants, and years so fast he couldn't understand it. But why was time slowing down so much. He opened his eyes, seeing clay slowly move towards him, he had a reflex to crouch and jump, but first, in that motion, the eyes darted forward, seeing even more things about to kill him. He could barely move. He decided to at least die fighting the sand user, in tribute of his partner. He moved between the clay spikes, scratching his sides, damaging his liver. Then, in this moment of superhuman power known to come in the last moments of life, he flung himself at the sand. He felt each individual one as they pierced his body. There was nothing he could do. He tried to run more, but the more he tried, the less it worked. He stopped trying. He didn't stop because he intended to. He couldn't stand straight anymore. He touched the ground with his hands and tried to leap forward only to find his strength had left him. No more was he in sacred form. He was too weak. His foot slipped and he fell, sliding just in front of the mans feet, his thick, nearly waterless blood pouring into the sand. As he fell he saw a trail of blood from him to his partner, making the sand itself blood red. Was that his blood? Had he bled that much? What a will to live. He never even registered the pain in his panic. Landing hard on the sand, he tried to make a sound, but no sound came. Suddenly everything hurt, and he was exhausted. It was like he was on fire, and being crushed by sand three fold over, while being shot at. As he closed his eyes more, more of the pain went away. Finally, his eyes shut and he fell into darkness. | |
