Name: Stone-Tablet Kunais of the Destiny Swing
Creator: Unknown
Owner:
Azrael FortierType: Weapon
Appearance:
The weapon is composed of two main parts: the chain and the blades. Although the weapon comes back from an old time, it looks quite new due to the maintenance given to it. The chain has a total lenght of ten meters, although in the middle there are two links that are completely round as rings and noticeably larger than the rest. These can be detatched from each other in order to separate the chain into two equal parts: two five-meter chains that can be used separately. The chain has a dark green, strangely dull metallic color. This is because it is completely coated with Kairoseki, also known as Seastone. In the inside though, it is made of normal steel. Some of the links on it have cyphers and codes in a past language (Poneglyph language). These are especially marked on the two middle rings were it can be split into two chains.
The blades have a strange shape (which can be appreciated in the image). They are of Wazamono grade, and despite their low grade their cutting ability is sufficient to cut even through stone if the user's skill allows it. These two blades go by the name of "Deceitful Kunais of Bloodline" and are actually not the ones that were originally attached to the chain. Differently from it, these dont possess any engravings on them. The blades have a rotational articulation which allows it to freely move at the end of the chain. A small key is needed to detatch this articulation from the blade.
Use: These chained kunais/blades are to be used by being swung by around the user or by shooting them straight forward as a whip. However it is chosen to be used, the shape of the blade allows it to be profficient at delivering cuts and at stabbing. A skillful user may be able to give more creative uses to the chain. The chained blades can be used as one single unit or separate it into the two five-meter chains for individual use.
Special abilities: The item's chain possesses the ability to negate the Devil Fruit powers of any devil fruit user that it comes in contact with. This does not apply to the blades of the weapon though.
History: This weapon's creation goes back to the Lost archives of history. Noboby really knows what happened, but everyone speculates. Despite this, this weapon's grave, as it should be called, was crowned by a poneglyph that had nothing to do with the history of that period. It only explained the story behind the apperance of the Stone-tablet Kunais of Destiny and their first wielder.
A period of chaos, a period of death and fear. It is no wonder that people called the Wielder of Light or the Light Bringers appeared around the islands of the Grandline. It appeared that an organization of Dark Crusaders had appeared. Malignant beings, decided to find the forbidden weapons and use them against humanity to rule them all, to change the world to their own perception and reality. The Wielders of Light were almost templars in that time, they were in charge of protecting sacred relics (which are not described or located inside the text of the poneglyph) and the forbidden weapons. Kun' Han was one of them. He was one of the people that decided what had to be done in order to deal with those found attempting to steal the relics. In honor of the rules that were being created at that time, pillars of discipline, he forged a weapon that would allow him to correct even those that had been gifted by the devil.
He fought fiercely against the powers of evil, but not a great description is made of him. The text skips to the ends of his time, in which one of the Forbidden weapons had apparently fallen in the hands of a malignant being. He had sworn vengeance towads Kun' Han for the damage he had done to his people. So Kun' Han, who was already old and weak, fled to the blues. In an island of the East Blue, one of the last Eden Gardens of the Earth, as it is described, he created an altar to worship the power of discipline and the ability to discern right from wrong, even in situations where it may seem that darkness rules. His treasure was guardad by him and the people that he met in the island until the day of his death.
An indefinite period after, a few people with the ability to read poneglyphs came across his weapons and the altar where it laid. It is unknown if Kun' han himself wrote the text on the poneglyph, but them who found it started a cult towards it. Worshiping his ideals and swearing to continue his legacy. Despite this, at one point, the blades that once were attached to the chain were stolen. Their location is unknown, but the cult replaced them. Apparently the chain had been seen as a null artifact, negligible even.
How it came to Azrael Fortier's hands, that is another story that doesn't have to do with the History of the weapon, but it was partly to keep it safe, partly to bring justice to the world.
