Match #1

The setting is a peaceful beach island with a gentle slope, which rises into a tall formation of cliffs on either side of the flat beach area. Under the cliffs (50ft), lies a series of stone caves. The caves run under the entire island. Some parts of the caves are flooded, particularly the part towards the middle of the island. Don't worry about getting lost in the caves, the tunnels all lead to a small underwater lake at the center of the island. Go ahead, take a nice swim; it’s fresh water. The sand back on the beach is fine and white, the kind that feels good under someone’s feet. In general those who walk on the sand sink an inch or two. When venturing out into the sea, be careful for quick sand forming just off shore in the shallow water. They’re nothing to fret about too much; the pits are only three to four feet deep. As long as you’re out of them by the time the tide comes in, you’ll probably be alright….probably. The sea breezes gently kiss the sandy shores of this secluded paradise, making it the perfect area to slaughter your foes.

Desais Mizuki appears on the coast of the island. He takes in the radiance and the beauty of the island. Everything seems so peaceful here. The sun shines brightly upon the little island. The water on the beach tickles at Desais's feet. A cooling sensation goes throughout his body as he steps through it. A wonderous breeze comes through and licks at Desais's exposed skin. Indeed this place is a perfect place to relax and let all your worries go.

Although that wasn't the case for Desais. A battle was about to unfold, and although Desais really wanted to enjoy everything this beach had to offer, he was ready. Even if he were to die here, Desais would be at peace. He knew that if there was any place he was to die, this would be the perfect one. "Well let's get this shindig going! Then I can enjoy this magnificent place and probably get a party going." Desais laughed as he thought of how perfect that would be.

Kaizen smiled when he saw one of his opponents speak. Kaizen wore a fitted black suit, which looked skinny thanks to his body habitus. He had a black fedora, a white buttoned up shirt, a black tie that went down to his bellybutton, and Italian style shoes that looked very expensive. Kaizen's green eyes looked at the enemy. He was smiling. His grin moved from cheek to cheek like the cat from Alice in Wonderland. There was nothing particularly funny about the situation, but to Kaizen it looked like the opponent was itching for a battle. Kaizen wanted to end things quickly.

Kaizen looked like he was in a boxing stance, but his wrists looked less firm. Kaizen looked a bit slim for his height, but opponents didn't know that underneath the suit was a decently built man. Kaizen had muscles around his body that didn't protrude to look like big bumps around his body. Kaizen didn't look like much to a normal person, but he is usually a person one can't underestimate. What Kaizen didn't have in his normal body he made up with in tactical intelligence. Kaizen waited for his opponent and took out his hand. He waved it towards him, showing the universal sign for "Bring it on".

Desais's smile grew into a large grin as he saw this man walk up. Although Desais started to get thoughts about how easy this battle was going to be, he never underestimated his opponent. Even a bug could defeat its enemy if given the precise chance. Desais drew out his two blades and held them firmly in each hand. He knew he had no skill in using the blades, but he used them none-the-less. It made him feel the battle was more fun with them at his side. "I'm gonna enjoy this." said Desais in a hushed tone to himself.

Kicking his foot deep into the sand, Desais rushed his opponent. It was a bit difficult for Desais to run in the sand, as his feet kept sinking with each stride he took. This didn't slow Desais with the pace he was taking, sadly the pace was like a man jogging. As he got closer to his opponent, Desais put the blades in an X like shape in front of him. Thus, blocking and attacking at the same time. Once he got close enough, he sliced the in a criss-cross upwards motion. As they went above his head, Desais rotated the hilts of the blades in the palm of his hand. So that the blades pointed downwards. Then with one swift motion, Desais sent the blades back down again in a criss-cross motion down towards his sides. The attack left his hands on the opposite sides of his body.

Kaizen watched the opponent head towards him with both of his swords at his disposal. Kaizen quickly flicked his coat up, revealing both of his flintlocks cleverly hidden underneath his coat, and grabbed them. He aimed at the man that was already a dozen feet in front of him. Kaizen quickly pressed the triggers and fired two rounds at that close of a range. One of the shots was aimed at the man's left knee, while the other was aimed at the man's right shoulder. Almost as quickly as he fired the rounds Kaizen dropped both of his pistols and ran the opposite direction. The opponents speed, from what Kaizen could see, wasn't as fast as his own.. but not by much.

Kaizen slowly ran away from the opponent while looking back every second or so to ensure that he was in the lead and that Desais wasn't gaining up on him. Just a few feet in front of Kaizen was a cutlass on the ground. This would be Kaizen's new weapon when he reached it, but for now he'll have to run the opposite direction.

All while running a smirk could be seen crossing his lips. He was planning something. He ran in an angle to the sword, and his eyesight didn't stop looking at it, then back at Desais. To most he'd look like a coward, however, he was just taking the best course of action for a battle. He wanted to get this done with as little of a possibility of gaining harm as possible, and fighting a man with a weapon didn't seem like the best idea. Especially when Kaizen didn't know the man's abilities with a sword.

Suddenly, seeing the quick whip on his opponents coat, Desais prepared himself. As he saw the flintlocks appear in Kaizen's hand, Desais readied for a dodge. Although he saw the flintlocks, Desais kept going forward. The first shot Desais barely dodged by jumping, but the second shot found its mark and threw Desais off slightly. The pain seemed to be numb from the adrenaline that Desais was feeling for the battle. The grin on Desais's face never faded. The thought of battle and being one upped by his opponent thrilled him.

Blood began gushing from Desais's arm as he continued to rush towards his opponent. Seeing his opponent running away from Desais gave him the thought that this man was planning something. He wasn't exactly sure what he was planning but it seemed like Kaizen wanted Desais to chase him. The obvious looking back and forward from Kaizen gave that away. But because Desais loved the thrill of a fight, he kept chasing after Kaizen. Readying his cutless in his left and right arm Desais jumped towards his opponent. Using his left arm, Desais sent the blade down towards Kaizen's head. Then, as Desais landed his feet on the ground, Desais used his right arm to slash at Kaizen's right side. Although Desais couldn't feel the pain in his right shoulder, his attacks with his right hand seemed to weaken. The bullet definitely caused an impact on Desais's attack with his right side.

Kaizen continued to look back and watched as he slowly got out of Desais's reach. Suddenly he tried to jump forward to slash down at Kaizen, he used this to his advantage. When the opponent rose his arm up to slice down Kaizen almost immediately stopped with his right leg and ran towards the opponent, whom was close. While he slashed down Kaizen stepped to the side using his right leg to almost hop to the direction, Kaizen's left finger then made a pointing position and flared forward while the sword in the right arm was swung horizontally. Kaizen ran past Desais before his legs connected with the ground, and attempted to jam his inger in the shoulder joint, effectively dislocating his left arm.

Kaizen, after the attack, ran forward and past Desais. His speed seemed to be only a little more then Desais, but when he jumped in the air and swung downwards all bets were off. Kaizen looked back and positioned himself once more for an attack. Kaizen's cutlass was behind the enemy, but that will have to wait. Kaizen ran forward, towards the enemy, and threw both of his pistols at his face. While the pistols aimed at the opponent for him to either dodge or block it Kaizen attempted to slam his fist into the opponent's left leg. This attack will decrease the opponents speed by 10% at Kaizen's current level.

To Desais's surprise his opponent had turned around to attack him directly. Although Desais knew Kaizen was planning something, he had no idea it was just a frontal assault. As he tried to slice down on Kaizen, Desais saw him move aside and aim for his shoulder with his finger. This, Desais knew, he needed to dodge or do something so that this attack does not connect. To make that attempt, Desais flung his left leg as hard as he could around to the other side of his right leg. This caused Desais to begin spinning his whole body around so that he became something like a mini whirlwind. This attack was meant to harm the opponent but to merely dodge the attack that ensued.

Once he landed on the ground, Desais lifted his cutlasses into an X. He was blocking for whatever attack was gonna come at him. Kaizen threw the guns at Desais, which he blocked right as they did. But he wasn't prepared for the attack that came next. The brutal blow to Desais's left leg, brought him down to his knees. It didn't leave him down for long, but it definitely made Desais slower.

Once Desais got back up, he dove at Kaizen (who was now at close range) and tackled him to the ground. As Desais had Kaizen on the ground he began punching at him in the face and gut. Clearly he was trying to keep Kaizen right under him. Since, Desais knew he was injured on his left side, he knew he had to do the same to Kaizen. Even if every plan of attack Desais had ended him up injured in some sort of way.

Kaizen saw the man kneel in front of him, which gave him a brief moment to reposition himself so he could be ready to attack or defend at any moment. However, just as Kaizen was about to use the opponent being on the ground as a means to attack him while he was down the opponent attempted to tackle Kaizen to the ground. Kaizen immediately used his left arm to grab behind the enemies back. If this were taken in slow motion it would look like two men hugging in a very sensual way. Kaizen then pumped his fist back, after locating the spine in his back (mid-saggital plane) and attempted to strike the opponent, mid-air, in the sternum with his fist. This will decrease his endurance by 10% per hit. The opponent will feel shortness of breath. If hit the second time the opponents sternum will break; this will make breathing very painful, and the opponents endurance will be zero because of it. Kaizen swung two times at the enemy while they were falling to the ground. Once they fell Kaizen saw the enemy on top of him; a barbaric means to a reasonable end.

The man attempted to strike Kaizen while he was on the ground. Kaizen pulled his upper body up almost immediately once the first fist was aimed at his face. Kaizen moved his head to the side, while getting punched to the gut by the other hand (which made him cringe), and attempted to slam his finger into the left shoulder joint. Because the opponent was in a position that was hard to dodge (his main objective is usually to try and keep the opponent on the ground) this would be a very hard attack to dodge. If the opponent dodges Kaizen will use the 'free space' the opponent made to roll over and spin around to try to escape. Kaizen will simultaneously use his right elbow to slam into the opponents thigh.

The attacks were so sudden. All Desais could do was attempt to block the attacks with his fists. Instead all he blocked them with were his face....and ribs....and kidneys... The brawl was so brutal in fact that it looked like something you'd see on a cartoon. Desais attempted to hit hard in the kidneys and in the side of the Kaizen's temples. There was no way to do any show offy moves on the ground. Oh man is this fun! Ow... I can't wait to make it out of this! Ugh... Well there goes my sternum! Ow wow wow! Now....I...can....barely...breathe! Desais thought of all the pain that was coursing through his body.

Then he realized he needed to get Kaizen off him. Even though he wouldn't be able to do much once he is off him. The brutal hits he landed on him made him basically defenseless and not truly able to fight back. But with the rest of the strength that he could muster, Desais put his feet to Kaizen's chest and pushed him off. "Heh, Heh. What interesting attacks you have." Desais said to Kaizen. "I guess you could say they gave you the LEG up in this match." Desais couldn't help but laugh at the lame joke he just made. It was the only way from keeping him from falling over from the pain.

Kaizen suddenly heard a kick behind him. It sounded like a thud. The opponent was stopped somehow by Pyro, Kaizen's partner, whom decided to watch the earlier battle. Kaizen wondered where the partner was located; he never guessed it would be in the sand. With Desais basically defeated Kaizen turned around to look at the new enemy. This one seemed a little stronger. He had a sword and hurled daggers at the partner from his mouth. They all looked transparent, which meant the man had weird powers.. although Kaizen couldn't find out the type yet. He did note that the opponent suddenly looked more clear before he sent the daggers in the partners direction. Now it was Kaizen's turn.

Kaizen suddenly disappeared and a black snake was in his place. While the opponent concentrated on Pyro Kaizen was going to slither towards the enemy. Kaizen quickly moved through the sand, and silently. He slithered behind the opponent, away from his field of vision, and slithered at 40% speed towards him. Kaizen then, without warning, burst through the sand and attempted to constrict the opponent. Kaizen's goal was to restrict his movement. Kaizen's fangs tried to strike the opponent in the eyes. With long range techniques his perception might be important to him.

Breathing heavily, Desais prepared himself the best he could for an attack. Although his smile had faded slightly because of all the pain he had endured, he didn't give in. He was a very stubborn type of person who wouldn't stop fighting until his life had faded. But he didn't have his two cutlasses, which, even if he had them, he wouldn't be able to truly wield them. Desais prepared a fist with his right had and let his whole left arm to dangle. His left shoulder was destroyed by the onslaught of attacks. As was his left leg. It was a miracle that he was even still standing. Clearly it was just from sheer adrenaline.

Desais's eyes widened as his opponent turned his back on Desais. Rage came across Desais as he realized that his opponent was done with him "Don't you turn your back on me!" Desais screamed as he began limping towards his opponent. His left foot slid in the sand and almost made him fall to the ground. But Desais was determined to continue on. He kept walking as fast as he could towards Kaizen. It amazed Desais as he saw Kaizen turn into a snake. The opponent he was up against was definitely an impressive one in Desais's eyes.

Desais saw a medium sized rock nearby his foot. In his mind he thought it was a great idea to use that was a weapon. So Desais picked it up with his right hand and attempted to throw it on top of Kaizen. Desais threw it with what little strength he had left. Hopefully this will either land on top of him or get his attention Desais thought as the rock went from his hand and towards Kaizen. Throwing the rock definitely exhausted Desais. His breathing hurt constantly and pain was his only reminder of the fact that he was still living and still kicking.

Razor saw immediately his partner would be of no use. If he was to win, he had to fight both the snake-man and the bird-man. This would be a difficult battle. He would need to utilize all the kills he had, more than likely. He prepared for the kill. (Keep in mind, this would be in correlation to when crow says while razor's concentrating on pyro, since apparently it needs to be spelled out).

Flash Stain

Razor had no idea that kaizen was behind him about to attack; his only goal was to attack pyro, who attempted to nose-dive into Razor. Razor jumped at soru speed, straight up, avoiding kaizen without even knowing he had done so.

Shining Blade

Razor thrust his hand into the chest of his foe, directly into the heart. Pyro had no time to react. Even pyro's regeneration didn't heal organ damage all the way. Pyro would be lucky to live. Razor didn't use this technique lightly. It was a difficult to control form, and it had side effects. As the stain, as he called it, dissapated, so to did his vision. As a defense mechanism, he immediately turned into glass, as to protect him from virtually everything. Or so he hoped, anyway. He wasn't exactly aware of the full extent of his devil fruit; almost everything he learned was 100% improv.

Devil blade

Razor readied himself. Blinded and intangible, he was a sitting duck but he could at least try. He made his blade in preperation for the next battle. Pyro, on the other hand, was bleeding out onto the sand. He had been taken by surprise, and now it was simply too late; much like desais, Pyro had no ability to battle anymore. He would be lucky to live.

Kaizen turned into a snake and attempted to strike the enemy, but he used a high speed technique to jump out of the way. While the opponent was in the air Kaizen used his quick slithering to make it to each of the nearby swords. Kaizen transformed into his hybrid form to grab the two that were farthest from Desais. The second the logia landed on the ground Kaizen will be close behind him, thanks to his speed, attempting to stab the enemy through the gut with both of his swords. Kaizen then, if it hit, will try to jab his hands inside the opponent, near the heart area, and attempt to drag him.
 
Kaizen was going to throw the body into the ocean, or at the very least drag it in. If both of the swords hit he'll try to pull on either to help drag the body. since the attack is from behind Kaizen figured it would be hard for the opponent to turn around and hurt Kaizen. Hopefully the opponent will either bleed, or stay attached to the attack so Kaizen could put him in the ocean.
 
Kaizen tried to walk past Desais, but he tried to keep a close eye on the guy behind him majority wise. Desais was someone he would look back at every few seconds. About 1-2 seconds.

Of course Kaizen didn't even really notice the rock getting thrown so weakly. Desais just watched as Kaizen enacted his plan. This really suck! I'm slower than a snake with these injuries! Desais thought as he breathed very heavily with every step he took. Even though he knew he was surely no match for anyone in his current condition, he still trudged on. He would not stop until his last breath crawled from his very lips and into the depths of the unknown.

The battle seemed to go on for what seemed like forever. Even though it literally has only been maybe 15 minutes that have passed by since the fight broke out. Desais kept up his feeble attempts at hitting the snake with the random rocks and pebbles he found lying around. Then, off in the distance, Desais saw what appeared to be a stick that would be perfect size to use as a walking stick. Desais headed towards it as fast as his weakened state would take him. At this point Desais thought it was his only chance of being able to move quicker and have a weapon of use to him. The swords were of little use to him now, since Kaizen had them. This was the next move that had popped into Desais's mind.

Kaizen watched as the opponent threw rocks at him. The man, now weakened, was trying to defeat Kaizen by hurling stones. The meager rocks sometimes didn't reach, while other times they missed by a little. There were few times when kaizen had to move his body out of the way, letting go of the opponent behind him. Kaizen continued walking forward though. The opponent was apparently incapable of stopping Kaizen from stabbing him in the back and moving with him. When Kaizen stabbed the sea through man he figured out that the opponent was a logia. Kaizen immediately walked faster until he reached the part he needed to reach; the ocean. Kaizen dropped the body in the water; there was one spot that seemed deeper then the surrounding areas. Kaizen was knee deep in water. He used his hand, near the heart area, to force the opponent to the ground and in a horizontal position to the ground under the water. This forced the body in a position that would require swimming to get out. Kaizen smiled and left while his opponent drowned to death. There was still one more he had to fight.

By the time Kaizen got there the opponent was trying to grab a nearby stick. He was probably trying to use it to fight Kaizen. He smirked and grabbed the two swords he used against the logia opponent. Kaizen ran towards the enemy with both swords at his side. Kaizen had basically every stat higher then the opponent by this point, or almost all of them. Kaizen tried to jab the opponent with both of the swords. One of them at his heart, and the other at his abdomen. Both of these swings didn't look like they were made by a professional, but Kaizen at least knew where to hit the opponent.

Desais hurried towards the stick as fast as he could. Not much further now! Desais thought as he got within 5 feet of the stick. He didn't even realize what was going on with the other three combatants at this time. All he wanted was to get to that stick. It was his ultimate goal at the current moment since he had not that many other options left. He knew that any opponent could be coming after him at any moment so he must reach it in time. Finally he got to the stick and began turning around when he noticed from his peripherals that Kaizen was rushing at him with two swords. Without a single thought Desais moved to the right as quickly as he could, but he was too late. Both blades pierced right through his body. One right through his abdomen and the other through his side. Luckily for Desais the other blade had missed its target path.

This of course was unknown to Desais on where the blades were to run through. He figured they were supposed to kill him but here he still stood. The pain rushed through his body, but he had no time to yell out or break down from it. He had to fight back, or else everything he had done up to this point would be all in vain. Desais's pupil went tiny and his eyes grew wide as he grabbed Kaizen by the throat as tight as he could. This was to keep in the position he already was in. Then with his left had he lifted the stick up, and stuck it into the side of Kaizen's neck. Desais tried with all of his might to cause the stick to run through Kaizen's neck and into his jugular. All the while Desais still managed his hold on Kaizen's neck.

Kaizen ran towards his opponent with all of his speed. The opponent quickly slid to one side to avoid the damage that Kaizen intended to give. Immediately the opponent attempted to grab Kaizen by the neck.. but he was just too fast and agile. Kaizen at this stage could dodge normal punches very easily. The opponent was just a little over that. Kaizen moved his face to the side; this caused the 'grip' to lose its target. At that same moment, while moving his head to the side, Kaizen ran forward (beside the stick that was intended for his face) and attempted to ram his claw on the opponents jugular vein. Kaizen's speed and agility made all of this possible; his skill is what made the claws that much more dangerous.

If it hit blood will move down to the ground and Kaizen will begin the second phase of his final attack. He lifted his leg up and kicked the opponent in the side of the head with 3 continuous kicks that appeared in one second. These kicks all had 10% in strength, but they were all aimed at the exact same spot and in great speed and numbers. If all of these things hit Kaizen should have a defeated opponent, or at the very least a man that is on the floor or knocked out. The man's endurance should be at its limits after the swords penetrated him and the rest of his body was against him.

The speed amazed Desais as he saw himself grab nothing but air. He attempted to still injure his opponent with the stick but it had missed as well. This was not at all what Desais had hoped for. Kaizen had definitely met his mark as he struck at Desais's jugular vein. Desais quickly grabbed at his throat as the blood began to flow freely. A smile appeared across Desais's face as he realized his end was near. This battle was indeed an excellent match. He knew that he had given his all. But he also knew that he was still alive and definitely still kicking.

As the legs began to kick at Desais's head, Desais turned towards Kaizen. He let go of his neck and let the blood flow freely. Grabbing one of Kaizen's legs, Desais held it tight and pulled Kaizen towards Desais. Then with the very last of his strength he slammed his head into Kaizen's head. If this blow landed there is a possibility that Desais will knock his opponent out. But in the end Desais will still surely die from the blow to his jugular. But in all of this combat the smile barely disappeared from his face. He enjoyed every bit of this fight and knew he needed to get stronger. Too bad for him if he died he wouldn't have need to get stronger anymore. Heh the worms would enjoy my rotting corpse. Desais thought as he fell to the ground. Although he was rather wounded, for all he knows this could all be in his head.

Kaizen slammed his claw into his jugular vein and watched the opponent get to the ground. Kaizen then kicked the man in the side of his head three times with no more resistance from the man. His body landed on the ground and Kaizen could have sworn he heard whispers coming from the man. He was on the ground, bleeding. Kaizen did many things to the man's body; among them was breaking his sternum, harming both of his femurs to prevent movement, slashing his jugular vein, his dislocated shoulders prevented his arms from coming up anymore, and his shot shoulder was what he used before to attack Kaizen. The opponent was one tough man with a lot of willpower. However, the match was finally over.

Kaizen hurt the man more then he hurt any other person he's ever fought without killing them directly. This man had a lot of willpower.
 
When the man landed on the ground Kaizen turned into a snake and slithered away. He had more fights to finish, and amore things to do. Kaizen was a busy man after all. He slithered away at full speed without looking back. He was fast enough to dodge everything Desais could throw at him, but Kaizen could never hope to receive as much damage as he received.

Pyro was in a lot of pain, but he had healed a little. He stumbled after his partner almost blindly. It seemed his partner was strong enough to take out both of the opponents by himself. Pyro was slightly ashamed of his defeat, but he had simply been taken by surprise after a foolish move. At least he wouldn't lose so easily next time. By the next battle, he should be at 100% again. That meant that he had a chance at victory. So much more fighting to be done. He wondered about the drowning man. He seemed very similar to himself. Maybe that as why he one? Maybe they were related somehow. Th

He looked at the other enemy. He was struggling to survive. Pyro decided he would utilize what little he had. He would finish off the poor soul and set him of to rest in peace. He drew his pistol with the single bullet and fired it at general vicinity of his upper torso. It could hit the spine, skull, heart, and etc and make his passing faster, and it was very likely for this to happen. Putting away his pistol, he used his cutlass as a cane to help himself hasten.

This battle has been decided, winner of Match #1 is Kaizen and Pyro. Pyro will be allowed to participate in the next round even though he was (killed? disqualified?).
