Weapon name: Geka-yō mesu ( Scalpel)
Description: A Nodachi type katana. The blade is black and has a serpent like pattern running from the hilt till the tip. The cutting edge of the blade is made of diamond , thus ensuring its resilience in blade clashes and making it incredibly hard to dent. The blade only begins to dull if it's not maintained. Its full length being 1.5 meters with a 30 centimeters hilt. The weapon is very heavy and has to be carried over a shoulder. It's extremely sharp and its length provides an advantage in combat. However , it's very heavy and users have to sacrifice mobility for strength and range while using this sword. It is also very durable and remarkably balanced which somewhat assists in wielding this sword. Due to its hilt carrying the approximate weight of the blade , wide swipes and lunges are easy to control if the wielder has the necessary physical strength. However , without immense physical bulk it would be impossible to perform short swings or any kind of fast thrusts. It is a two handed weapon and no side arms can be used while wielding this weapon. The blade is sheathed in a high quality sheathe made of studded mahogany wood. In case of need , the sheathe could be used to parry attacks from lighter weapons such as daggers or short swords.
