Punch stands at a height of 4ft. Just like any average penguin, Punch has a white belly and the rest of his body black, except his flippers (feet.) However a white line can be seen going down both his wings (arms.) Punch wears a blue fluffy hat with a fluffy ball sat on top of the hat, two strings come down from the hat, they also have a fluffy ball at the end of the strings. Punch wears a backpack which includes stuff such as a map (even though he can't read it), a photo of his family, some snacks and finally, two shiny, crimson, boxing gloves. This bag is colored brown.
History:
Punch was born in the Grandline on a island with a cold environment. He lived the average penguin life, sliding on his belly down snowy hills, catching fish with his father and playing games with his friends. He was the only son however he didn't really feel lonely due to his friends. Punch would often come home late from playing with his friends and was often scolded by his worried and angry parents. Once Punch reached the age of 14, he was fit enough to go and get fish on his own, his father was too old to go hunting. Punch was eager to start, he swam gracefully and quickly, easily catching his first fish. Once he returned with his prey back home, an avalanche began to take place. This happened because some stupid penguins were playing over at the mountainside, otherwise known as the forbidden area. The snow fell quickly and without any warning, devouring all those who stood in it's path, merciless. The raging wave of snow was soon gonna reach Punch, they quickly evacuated however to no avail, the snow devoured them too. All Punch could see was darkness...suddenly a hand grabbed out to him and pulled him out. He was surprised to see that it wasn't a penguin however he had little strength to re act so his just fell unconscious. This human was actually and explorer who had witnessed the avalanche from a far. The human saw the snow cover poor Punch and decided to save him since he too had a pet who died and swore not to let any animal he came across go through the same fate his pet did. The man took Punch back to his cottage in the island and placed him beside the fire. Punch immediately awoke as he felt the heat, he was not used to this and quickly rolled away, under the table. The man chuckled.
"Hahah, don't worry. I'm here to help."
Punch did not understand the man however he could tell he meant no harm and slowly got away from under the table, he examined the man and began to walk around him. Strange, he had no wings... no flippers... not even a beak! This really was the people from his mother's tales, a.... human! Speaking of his mother... where were his parents!? He burst into tears as he realized that they must've already died. He cried non-stop for 5 days until finally he decided to suck his tears in and live on, like his father would've told him to. The man looked after punch and told him great stories about the ocean, he did not understand the man however the gestures he done made Punch really interested, the man showed Punch the sea. It was a truly vast and mysterious place, Punch's sense of adventure began to kick in and he wanted to start his journey across the sea straight away. The man stopped him and said:
"What are you gonna do out there without any self defense?"
And so this is where Punch's training began. The man taught punch in the aft of boxing which was pretty awkward for Punch and he did not know what on earth he was doing but it was fun so he just played along. After a year of training, the man presented punch with a bag and boxing gloves, he also gave Punch his very own hat. The man soon had to leave and anted to take Punch with him however Punch refused, since he wanted to sail and explore the world on his own. The man wished Punch good luck and set sail. Punch noticed the man's raft, maybe he needed one? It looked cool so why not. After a lot of tries and errors, the raft was finally born. It was just a bunch of logs connected by a rope but hey! It was cool. Punch set sail, with only one intention in mind. To explore the whole world... maybe even gain some new friends along the way.
Personality:
Punch is a very energetic and fun penguin. He loves to make others laugh and is a very good person to be around. Punch loves discovering new sights, just as much as he loves eating fish. Punch will not bring harm to any of his friends and will fight back if he is in danger. Punch is not the brightest penguin however he isn't really dumb either, Punch will try to find ways to escape the enemy quickly. Punch dislikes harming others but will do so if there is no choice. Punch is care-free and can be lazy at times, he dislikes being lost and will try to avoid that feeling at all costs.
