Anaïs Blanc

Anaïs has really long blonde hair that she puts up in this weird cool looking half pony tail or something like that, this hair goes down past her feet, and, unlike popular believe, it doesn't really interfere with her overall movement. She has also two sort of braid things on the sides of her face. She ties them in the top of the braid with black hair ties and also in the bottom but with thin hair ties that aren't visible unless you pay attention. She has a heart shaped face with a thin and slightly pointy nose, high cheekbones and rosy cupid's bow lips. She has almond shaped dark grey eyes with a ring of light grey in the outer ring and a even darker almost black grey in the inner ring of the iris. She has dark blonde eyebrows that are perfectly shaped and black eyelashes that make her eyes pop out.

Her usual attire is a black bikini top (simple design, shown in both pictures) and black short shorts. This helps her move faster and without being bothered by the clothes. She wears black studded combat boots. She is 6 ft (182 cm) tall and weights around 56 kg (123 pounds). She has a good build, toned muscles but nothing too extravagant or exaggerated. She has white marks across all of her body, which are tattoos from her old tribe. Apart from that she also has a black tribal tattoo going across her right thigh and up to her stomach (better shown in the drawings).

Anaïs was born in the main tribe of an amazon island. The tribe was really old fashioned even if they had direct contact with the outside world. They decided to stay the same and continue their rituals and style of life. They wore traditional outfits and wielded regular, old fashioned and out dated, weapons. They were known for their initiation ritual and their body tattoos. Anaïs was born into a family of six, her two parents and four siblings (all male). Since she grew up among men it could be said that she didn't really connect with her feminine side. She was a total tomboy and rough person. She loved hunting and spending time with her siblings.

Nothing really happened in her childhood, she was respectful towards the elders, did her chores and helped her family with anything they needed. It wasn't until she turned sixteen and had to go through the initiation ritual that things went the wrong way. The initiation ritual is for every child to become an adult, consider it as a "coming of age" event, like nobles threw parties to present their already matured children to society, etc. Usually tribes only do this with men, however this one did for both genders and was recognized for it. It was also ruthless and really hard, only half of them surveyed the horrible ritual. The day of the start of the ritual was random, and the people that would participate in it didn't know when it would start either.

Anaïs' ritual started at dawn. She didn't notice that people had entered her hut until they were shaking her shoulders. She opened her eyes and stared at the man wearing a tribal mask. "Ritual time" was all he said before he turned to leave the room. Anaïs knew that she had a minute to get ready (from the preparations for the ritual) and then she would have to follow where the ritual would begin. She could feel the tension in the air, every teenager was scared of losing their life, and Anaïs wasn't the exception. The first trial was to put a blind fold on them and take them deep into the jungle. The goal was for them to make their way home all alone.  

The first part of the ritual wasn't that bad of an experience for Anaïs. Once the blind fold was taken off, she inspected her surroundings, then she looked for a source of water. It was hard to find one but in the end she found a small pond. Afterwards Anaïs made her way home. She got some scratches from tree branches and stuff, but in the end she got home safety and the masked man was waiting for her. They couldn't contact their family until the initiation process was over.

Then came Anaïs' worst part of the ritual. She knew that, somehow, most hadn't made their way back home. She didn't know if it was because they were taking longer or maybe because they had died. And honestly, she didn't want to know either. There was a bonfire and beds around it, not close enough to be set on fire themselves, but still relatively close. Anaïs was led to one and the masked man instructed her to lay on it. She was blindfolded once again. She felt anxious as the minutes passed and nothing was happened. She had never, not even once, heard about something like this, so she really didn't know what to expect. Once the drums started going off she knew that the ritual was about to start once again.

The first thing she knew that was happening was something extremely hot being pierced into her skin. She screamed in pain, trying to tell them to stop, but she realized that she was in trial. She had to stand the pain. She could feel it piercing through her skin, drawing different patterns. Anaïs was in so much pain that she could no longer hear anything but her screams in agony. At one point she was asked to pick something, she didn't know what they were asking exactly but she felt her hand be moved and touched a couple of items. They were all different and since Anaïs had the blindfold on, she couldn't make out what they were. She picked the one closest to her and before she could realize, she was forced to eat it. The horrible taste that it left in her mouth would never leave her mind, neither would the burning sensation from the burns. After a while, a couple of hours, the blindfold came off and there was no longer something piercing through her skin. But it still felt like it was on fire, her whole body felt like it was on fire, bleeding and the pain was too much to endure. She could now her the other cries of the tributes. It was terrible, and Anaïs couldn't understand why they would do it to every child their age. It was inhuman. It was in that place, with her whole body burned, that Anaïs started harboring deep hatred towards her village and every member of it. It would only be later, though, that she would act on it.

The rest of the trials weren't as bad. She ended up not remembering most of them due to the extreme pain she was in. She just wanted to get it over with. It took months for the burns to heal and leave thin scars that would make out the "tattoos" everyone in the village were so proud of. Except for Anaïs. After the initiation ritual she had become a bitter person, not enjoying talking to anyone else from the tribe. She didn't know that the "thing" she had consumed in her ritual was a devil fruit (in fact, she still technically doesn't know), but she discovered that she had "special" abilities.

Anaïs was playing around in her room with a dart when she discovered said abilities. She had a metal dart in her hand and she threw it. The dart was about to hit the wall (way too far from the bull's eye) when Anaïs forced it with her hand to hit the middle of the bull's eye. She didn't think much about it but tried it again. And it worked. She then thought about a small metal blade and it appeared in her hand. This way she started to train her abilities, realizing that if she trained hard enough and became stronger, she would be able to leave her tribe for good and become someone new, someone with a better life, not tied to the horrible tribe that she was part of.

She met a guy called George when she had been training one day. She thought he was interesting so she started talking to him, he seemed like a foreigner, as he didn't have the tattoos her tribe was known for. George was older, a couple of years older than Anaïs, and he wasn't part of the tribe, so he was good enough to deserve her attention, or so Anaïs thought. She enjoyed talking to him and soon found out that he was part of another tribe, one that was also in the island, but was quite different to hers. He told her how their tribes were rivals and that he hated her tribe, she also explained how she hated her own tribe and wanted nothing to do with it. Their friendship grew strong and Anaïs even started to develop feelings for George, but she knew that it would be impossible for them to be together, being from rival tribes and all of that just added to the hardships they would have to go together. Besides, Anaïs was sure that George had no feelings for her.

When Anaïs turned eighteen George promised her that he would give her anything she wanted. At first she thought about asking him for a kiss but then decided otherwise, she would only want her first kiss to be with someone that liked her back, not forcing someone that she had an unrequited crush on. She then, instead, asked for a tattoo, as George was a tattooist. George accepted but with one condition, he requested that she had to take her clothes of so he could make the tattoo properly. At first Anaïs was confused and didn't know whether to accept the request or not, but then decided to accept it because she did want the tattoo and she trusted George.

Once the tattoo had been finished, however, he started kissing her neck and even if she pleaded him to stop, he proceeded to rape her. Anaïs screamed through it all as he continued to please himself and break her. She knew after that, that she could no longer trust anyone but herself, the rest would simply be tools to help her achieve her goals. Once Anaïs had calmed herself, while he was still furiously raping her, she created a small metal blade, and killed him with it. She had tears in her eyes as she removed the dead corpse from on top of her, and felt her body submerged in the crimson liquid leaving the body. She was disgusted.

After that Anaïs packed her things in her backpack and started leaving. She murdered anyone who tried to stop her, she set houses on fire, she was unstoppable. She was strong, and finally, finally free.

After leaving the island Anaïs lost part of her memory. What happened in that fraction of time was possibly lost forever. But once she had regained consciousness, she knew that she would have to become a pirate and have the strongest crew in the world. Those were her goals and now she just had to achieve them. Now Anaïs is looking for strong crew members to join her crew.

Anaïs is a tough person, she will never show her emotions unless they are anger or frustration (which would usually be directed at her crew). She is, however, a relatively nice person to the people that are worth her time. She will not allow anyone slacking off or ignoring her orders. She will not hesitate to kill anyone. As she doesn't have a strong link to anyone, she doesn't really care about anyone. What she looks in her possible crew members would be someone that is willing to work and someone that will follow her every order, someone capable of doing them. Someone strong. She is a training freak, and is constantly trying to obtain more power. Her goal is to be one of the strongest pirates in the world, and for her crew to be the strongest crew in the world. She has no interest what so ever in males or females as far as friendship or romantic relationships go. She just sees them as tools that will aid her to achieve her goals. If someone does seem worthy of her time, and her affection, it is possible for Anaïs to feel certain fondness to said person. She hates being touched and is incredibly exigent with everyone, expecting the best of them, just like she gives the best of herself.
