Several months had passed by and still he lays lingering. The burns are so bad that even with proper medical attention; they would leave severe long term damage. However thanks to whom he is, he can't exactly go strolling into any old doctor’s office. Not in his condition, they would likely take advantage of it and kill him. After that the lucky son of bitch would never have to work a day in their lives again. Well that's if they kept their mouth shut about the pregnant woman taking care of him. Those bastard marines would likely level the entire island to make sure his spawn didn't escape. None of that really mattered though. Emily was taking care of him the best she could on the outskirts of a small village on some small nameless island on the second half of the Grandline. Luckily enough Emily had only traveled with him for a rather insignificant amount of time before his show down with Maximillion, a Yonkou known for raising entire islands on a whim. Every now and again the increasingly growing woman would have to venture into town for supplies, medical supplies mainly; sometimes some food. The locals were more concerned about the pregnancy than what she was buying, although in that small of a town they still noticed.

As the time passed she eventually became a common distraction for the townsfolk. However the stories they told the sailors docked around the time she and he had just arrived spread. To most it would look like a pregnant woman trying to escape her family or her husband to have the baby in peace. The medical supplies she bought made that theory pretty convincing. Well that would be if you didn't know what kind of medical supplies she was buying. Ointments and burn lotions, along with morphine and tons of bandages were among her supplies. Perfect for someone that had received severe burns to the point it was life threatening. Even with that kind of knowledge the residents of the small supply line village wouldn't know what she's up to or what that kind of stuff was really for, save the town doctor of course. With all of that information, for one to know who she was taking care of, they would have to know a few things very few actually did. Thanks to his diligence during his trip to recruit soldiers, his battle with Maximillion was kept low key. Adding that battle to Maximillions powers would equal one crispy Yonkou that would need all of what Emily was buying just to stay alive all this time.

There was such a low chance that anyone would find him, not even his own crew had come for him. That is, if he even has a crew left to go back to. The stars would have to align and the heavens split open for anyone note worthy to find him. Just as the thoughts ran through Iken's morphine clouded mind, thunder sounded and lighting rolled across the sky as the heavens opened up and rain began pouring down. The burns all over his body were starting to rot him away, slowly but surely. A crust of yellow dried puss kept the wounds from receiving fresh air. The bandages soaked red began to turn black and reeked of death, they were only a few hours old. Emily was doing her best, but her being so far along with child was slowing her down. She herself was starting to wear down and become sickly. If this continued, she would likely lose Iken and the child. While she was away fetching supplies from town, Iken lifted his withered body up from the burlap mat he had been laying on. How he wished he would just die already. It would release Emily of his burden and the child would no longer be in danger from her overworking herself. Iken looked at his swords in the corner and at the door of the small hut in which they lived.
With his emaciated body he stumbled his way over to a small round table near the center of the room. On it were some of the supplies, Emily had acquired a week or so before. Picking up a brown bottle, Iken confirmed the contents by holding it close enough to where his foggy vision could make it out. Lowering the hand with the bottle to the table, he used it to stabilize himself. With his other hand free he fumbled around the table looking for the tool he would obtain his release with. As strung out as he was he stuck himself four or five times before actually picking the damned needle up. Iken stuck the needle into the bottle and pulled back the syringe, sucking out the brown liquid inside the brown bottle. Withdrawing the needle he looked at the liquid like it was something precious. There was however one problem. Never mind finding a vein, Iken was having a hard time finding a spot he could reach that wasn't crusted over from burn or infection. With a little bit of time, anyone with a strong enough desire will find a way; and so Iken did. He injected himself with the morphine, in a vein on his neck. It was instant, and it was great! Iken felt like he did before the fight, maybe even better. With a mighty roar he flexed his charred muscles ripping the dirty bandages.
The extra blast of liquid courage ran through his veins making him feel like he hadn't in ages. It made him feel good enough to walk over to his blades with ease and lift it above his head. Though for some reason this brought back memories of one of Iken's oldest crew mates. A boy addicted to some unnamed drug, he had a cloth logia fruit that came in very handy at times. At the time Iken tried his damnedest to get the boy off the drug, but it only caused the boy to kill himself later on. One of Iken's many failures. To be honest, in his current condition; Iken couldn't even remember the boys name. One of Iken's oldest nakama and he couldn't even remember his fucking name, how dispicable. Iken could only grin and laugh when all he really wanted to do was cry and scream. The mighty had fallen to such a low that he was strung out on morphine and about to end his own life while his pregnant lover was out getting medical supplies to take care of him. All that he could think of was how big of a piece of shit he was.

A cold breeze caught Iken's attention causing him to look up just at a flash of lightning illuminated the area. In the doorway he saw a figure; however the flash of lightning was to bright for him to make out who it was. "Emily?" he asked before his eyes had adjusted. "Emily? Is that the whore you've been with this whole time?" came a familiar voice from the doorway. "OH JESUS NO! NOT YOU, NOT NOW!" Iken screamed out in a panic. "Oh yes it's me brother. The nightmare that makes you dread going to sleep at night, the reason you keep one eye open, the demon with the same tainted blood, the monster who will consume you. Yes, I am here THE DEMON OF BLOOD! Oh, and once I'm finished with you, I'll be going after your whore next." Derge said taunting the mortally wounded man.

With one swing of his blade, Iken had wiped out the hut as well as a chunk of forest that covered the island. Retreating back Derge leaped into the sky away from the powerful attack. Derge looked behind him and watched as the chunk of previously forested island sank into the waters below. "Heh, looks like the old war horse has some kick left in him after all." Derge mockingly with a grin. "Fuck you, you goddamned bastard, if it's the last thing I do; I WILL DRAG YOU DOWN TO HELL WITH ME!" Iken roared to match the volume of the thunder in the background. Derge formed a three pronged pitch fork with his blood and rushed towards Iken. Iken blocked the stabbing attack with his sword fairly easily despite the power behind it. However almost instantly the prongs transformed into snakes and rushed towards Iken biting him in the chest. From the three blood snakes more formed. The snakes wrapped around Iken, biting into him, binding him. Iken didn't really feel all to much as the snakes were tearing at his flesh and crushing him thanks to the loads of morphine on board. The lack of cries of pain dissatisfied Derge greatly, so he decided to change it up a little. Leaping back Derge changed the form of the pitch fork handle to something more like a giant whip or rope. With all of his might he lashed the rope connected to Iken, slamming him into the ground below. Blood erupted from Iken's mouth when he smashed into the ground crushing the rock in the nearby area.

Iken panted on the ground wet from bloody reopened wounds and the rain pouring down upon him and his enemy. Everything was utterly soaked. Even with his mind devoted so deeply to the morphine, Iken was still a warrior and he knew an opportunity when he seen one. Using the crushed rock as a foothold he maneuvered his broken body to his feet once more. Thanks to Derge the length of blood rope was quite long, long enough for one more desperate counterattack. Iken leaped high into the thundering sky, combing his flash technique with the sly walk. It was an old man that taught him that technique, a friend or Gael's or lover. Iken couldn't really remember the status of their relationship anymore than the man's name. However what he did remember was the man’s hate for Derge. He would be pleased if the technique he taught Iken would be the one to end Derge once and for all. High in the sky he raised his blade to the best of his abilities, using it as a conductor. Lightning struck the metallic object, all but frying its owner. However it didn't stop there, the electrical current flowed down the blood and directly into Derge before discharging into the ground. Iken fell as the blood shriveled up, no longer able to hold him. Derge hit the ground before Iken, both smoking from the inside out.

The smoking however was just proof, proof that both of their strong Namikaze bodies were being kept alive by their powerful wills to kill the other. Iken watched, barely able to breathe as Derge raised himself from the ground. Derge was bloody with bad burn injured all over his body, especially the hand he held the blood with; it was completely black. With his good hand, Derge pulled out a small dagger. As he slowly walked towards Iken he began hacking away at the wrist of his blackened hand until blood was pouring out of the wound forming a long curved dagger. "This is the end brother."

[[In the sky above the island]]

From above a flashing blue light lingered , the flames dazzling in the evening sky as the thunder rained earlier on the battle below. The blue flame suddenly turned into a white coat with the words justice spread across. The man wore a cap and was standing in the sky looking down on the battle that had just commenced "Remember Lenny.... we will give it time, we will flank him and do the task we came here to accomplish.... still i cannot believe it..... Iken......." The man lowered the cap, his thoughts were directed towards the Steel Pirates, the great Iken was reduced to this now. And Derge, the man who represented evil itself had seem to have somehow won this fight, he was now doing something with his blade.

Lenny breathed heavily as he was hanging on the Admiral's back. They were surrounded by lightning that struck, sometimes, meters from them. It was the first time that Lenny was in the New World, and he understood that this meant that the opponents were stronger, the climate was the craziest thing on the planet and the islands, with their native people, were just stranger than in other parts.

The battle that had just taken place below them was somewhat ferocious and spiteful... There obviously was some history behind the adversaries which made them grasp life until the last minute.

"Yes, Admiral, it is very difficult to believe..." - Lenny said, almost whispering so that only Nishki could hear him. -"One of the Yonkou... But you know what is always said about Blood Demon Derge..."

((My post was lost and I really don't feel like redoing the whole thing so I'm just going to half ass it, so bear with me.))

Derge heard a shrill whistling; it was as if many souls were screaming for their lives.  He knew the sound; it was an evil sound that he had heard a few times before.  It was in his numerous battles with Iken where Derge had learned of the blade.  A blade made by metal logia, sharpened to a molecular level by the user’s skills as a devil fruit user.  The blade was so sharp it was able to cut their, thus resulting it the shrieking sound that cut through the claps of thunder and rain that pounded on the ground.

Instinctively, he raised a wall of his hardest blood in front of himself.  It did little good to stop the blade initially forcing Derge to leap back.  Using the blood from the wall, he created clawed hands that grabbed for the center of the rotating blades.  Derge had to continuously create more arms as the force of the blades forward momentum combined with the spinning burned through the blood constructs.  Despite not even coming within feet of Derge, the air displaced by the blade was able to cut through his shell of blood and into his chest.   A normal person was likely bleed to death from such wounds, however to Derge they were nothing more than scratches.

Derge knew that there was one more to go, a third blade; after all three sword style was Iken's specialty.  It wouldn't come from the front or directly in back in case the first attack had been more effective than originally planned.  The rain prevented him from using his blood mist from detecting the foe, however it was also the solution he was looking for.  From the right, above and behind him at an angle came the attack.  A spike of blood drove into the figure of the foe soon after it shot from Derge's shoulder.  As Derge turned he saw the image of the figure fade into nothingness, there was no contact.  "Damn it!  It was just an afterimage!" Derge exclaimed whirling around.  Blood spurted from his chest when Emily slashed him.  The combination of the seastone blade and his previous wounds caused Derge to fall to his knees.  In the brief second he was without his fruit powers, Derge's vision faded as he began to lose consciousness.  That however was only for a second for when Derge's powers came back he once again became alert.  Derge raised the dagger he had used to cut his own wrist to block the finishing sword blow.  Despite the sword breaking the dagger with relative ease; it was enough to save Derge from the blow.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS FUCKING SHIT!"  The pools of blood that had poured from Derge all throughout the course of the battle began to form and build upwards.  A monumental demonic titian rose to seventy-five feet in height.  It was a massive protective shell that would protect Derge from the woman's attacks.  Despite how skilled she was, she didn't have near the strength to reach him.  Large snakes made from the blood shot from the giant’s hands trying to restraint the woman.  For a time Emily was able to dodge and slice her was out of the restraints, however despite how it looked the battle was already over.  The snake like binds bit into Emily's arms and legs allowing Derge to raise the woman up to his level.  Derge connected the titan’s second arm to Emily's lower body while connecting the upper body to the other.  Slowly the blood traveled from the top and bottom of her body till the connected in the middle, covering her fully.  It was over in a flash, Derge had literally pulled the woman until her body split in-half.  As the life began to fade from Emily's upper half she tried to utter somthing but failed "Roo".  Throwing the two parts of the body aside, he returned to his normal form.  A container made from blood about the size of a basketball hung from Derge's hand, its contents were unknown.

Iken rose from his crumpled spot on the ground, spurn back to life by his undying rage that burned with the intensity of a sun.  It was a technique he had discarded long ago to preserve his lifespan, however that was all pointless now.  Iken had lost the most important thing in the world, nothing mattered anymore.  His life was pointless now.  The heat from his body rose turning the rain into steam as he used his life return to repair his broken body enough to fight one more time.  His senses went into overdrive allowing him to see into the surreal world around him.  It was as if everything was moving in slow motion as his sage art technique began.  Iken calmly walked over to where his hut was before it had been blown away.  He grabbed his old coat off of the ground and put it on, he was thinking clearer than he had in a long time.  Iken looked up at the marines hovering in the air for a moment before looking back towards Derge.  "Is this your justice?  You let an innocent woman and unborn child die without even lifting a finger.  DERGE, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

Iken pulled a dial out of his inside pocket and attached it to his sword, the only one Derge didn't have near him.  He enabled the heat dial attached to the sword and immediately a super-hot silver flame erupted throughout the sword.  The flame was so intense it turned the rain into steam before it even touched the blade as well as melting off the skin on Iken's arms and hands.  Derge responded by going into his second gear mode.  His skin turned red as from the heat as red steam poured from his pores.

"Soru"

"Flash"

Iken raised the sword and prepared for his strike, flexing his muscles and calling out their utmost power.  Derge on the other hand didn't even both, he had something else planned.  "World Class Slash” Iken slashed his sword creating at one point of time, the world's strongest slash attack.  A powerful, super-heated shockwave ripped through the island in the direction he slashed.  The heat and wave of air devastated the small islands landscape.  Nothing but clumps of smoldering ash remained.  Derge didn't have anything to compete with that kind of power and chose to evade the technique avoiding the destruction altogether.  As soon as he had Derge released his gear mode and used the blood puddle across the ground to use Iken's own sword to finish him.  The sharp blade sliced through the EX-Yonkou's neck without even removing the head.  Iken's body fell forward causing his sliced throat to open up allowing the blood to flow out seemingly killing the Yonkou.  Derge spun around as the blood construct brought the giant shurriken like blade to him. In one hand, Derge had the container and in the other he spun Iken's blade creating the telltale howling.

Lenny's jaw had dropped slightly and his face was trembling. Partly because of the astonishing event he had just seen taking place... And part of it was out of impotence. He felt like he could have done something to save that woman. He surely recognized that she was preganant... Lenny couldnt get a hold of his feelings. His soul was devastated to see such a monstruosity and blood lust in a human being... Furthermore, he had then beheaded the former yonkou Iken. He deserved the nickname by which he was called all the time: "Blood demon". Lenny Celeste was completely sure that that man was a demon.

But his sense of justice... of fighting for the innocent... it was burning inside of him. For the Vice Admiral, it was like an internal war, where his survival instincts tried to choke his sense of justice. But the end, this last one won. Lenny took a deep breath and looked at Nishki below him, he didnt know if the Admiral was as surprised as him... But he would probably understand his decision.

"Admiral... I have to fight Derge..." -Lenny said this and immediately jumped off Nishki's back. -"I cant stay with my arms crossed after seeing this bloodbath take place."

Vice Admiral Celeste was coming from above, and the free fall was able to effectively augment his momentum, plus strenght. He used a combination of Soru and Geppou to perform circular motions around Derge as he fell, at incredible speeds. While doing this he had built a wave of light energy, and he let it crunch in when he was close enough, attempting to enclose Derge and damage him severely. It would explode tremendously on contact. "Nebula Crunch..." -Lenny had said for himself.

Nishki watched, gritting his teeth, that this scum would kill people in such a manner no longer surprised him. He had seen too much of the world to understand, down there was the manifestation of cruelty and hatred, down there was the truth of the darkness of this world. The World Government was in its own way an unjust system , taking advantage to further its power. But down there, it was senseless, it was brutal, violence of the darkest order. Nishki was angry, but he knew one thing, if he jumped in half heartedly simply relying on his emotions, he would die, anyone would be able to tell that watching Derge fight. Nishki then heard Vice Admiral Lenny. His eyes widened "NO LENNY !!!!" Nishki flew down, watching Derge, he was going to swoop in between them the moment Derge made a move, Nishki looked across for a split second at Ikens body, he had to collect all of it, but now was not the time, not with Lenny about to throw a offensive at Derge.

A pillar of blood shot into the air from under Derge, it lifted him into the air high above the vice admiral and his attack. The resulting explosion obliterated the pillar from under Derge, however he remained in the air. He was floating there on top of his blood construct; it had been reduced to only a small platform no bigger than a kite shield. Derge looked down from his platform upon the marine and then towards Nishki heading towards his comrade. "Is this all they sent, two little marines to finish off the victor of our battle? Two inferiorly typed devil fruits won’t do you any good, even if it had been Iken that won. Sigh. I suppose you can take solace in the fact you would have probably hit me, if Iken hadn't given your presence away during our battle." Derge said to the marines.

Derge released his platform causing both him and the blood that made it fall to the ground. Much of the island was either covered in a wet smoldering ash or a deep pool of blood mixed with rain water. "Watch the power of a true warrior of Hell! He exclaimed throwing his arm into the air. The blood under foot formed into many small sharp blood crystals around the size of bullet. "Blood Shower” It was as if machine guns had appeared under the ground as the crystals shot upwards tearing into everything except from Derge himself. The area impacted was so large that more than just the marines would be effected by the attack. Animal, plants, and even the islanders that was unlucky enough to be caught with blood under their feet.

Nishki flew across grabbing Lenny in mid air as his attack came off. Nishki flew, taking the blood crystals on his wings, feeling the pain, but his flames healed him also dispelling the blood from his body as well sensing some malice, the rain was also dangerous. Nishki flew with Lenny in his wings into the sky. "Lenny are you alright?....." He was shielding Lenny from being hit until the crystals subsided, Nishkis flames healing him on over time as he panted. "That was a fearsome attack... but i cant let him have his way.... make sure you arent covered in the rain.. thanks to the flames im alright..." Nishki was wary watching everything around him as he landed onto the ground, changing back into his human form letting his pheonix flames linger to dispell any corrupt blood, signalling for Lenny to stay in the sky. " Blood Demon Derge, i knew your father..... regardless of our personal differences, as a fellow marine your father carried out his duties admirably.... but clearly you are nothing like him...... with the pride of the marines that i carry on my back, i will not let you have your way!!!!" Nishki curling his fist as he fired a rankyaku straight into Derge.

Lenny's eyes widened and his anger was calmed in a few seconds when he saw Nishki fly hastily in front of him, grab him midair and took all the damage from the blood crystals that Derge had formed. The Vice Admiral could notice that Nishki was in pain... but that he quickly healed.

"I am fine, Admiral Nishki... But..." - Lenny shook the feeling off. -"You're right, I'll cover the skies above."

Lenny ran, taking hasty steps on the ground and then quickly using Geppou to jump as high as he could and "sky walk". Then when he was high up, he kicked the sky multiple times, sending a rain of rankyakus down on Derge, combined with solar power. Lenny had attempted to point these not only at Derge's position, but also around him, as he saw that the Admiral had also performed a rankyaku straight towards him.

The higher up the vice admiral went into the sky, the larger Derge's grin became. It was a trap, the crystals shooting upwards into the heavens, began to form into a massive construct. The construct was shaped like a Y, with one object stuck into the two top points. One of the objects was Derge's broken dagger, and the other was Iken's sword he used in his final attack. The blade was still glowing white from the intense silver flame that had one burned upon it. As the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! That's exactly what Derge did; he copied and made his own the technique Iken had just used on Derge not that long ago.

As Vice Admiral Lenny was showering Derge from above with light laced rankyaku's, lightning struck the crude, wet, lightning-rod construct Derge had made above the Vice Admiral's head. The two electrical charges vaulted down the Y shaped pillar towards the singular point, combining into one power charge before shooting from the end of the construct. All the while Derge spun the large shurriken like blade in an effort to dismantle as many of the air-blades as possible. Unfortunately for Derge, the bulk of his concentration was spent on the actions above head. This allowed parts and fractions of the air-blades to get through his defense. Deep cuts formed up and down Derge’s body allowing more blood to pour out and disperse on the ground. Slowly but surely the wounds were healing at a visible pace. In fact the hand that had been blackened by the lightning strike was nearly back to normal.

Nishki blasted ahead on one foot his pheonix flames potruding from his arms and body, he saw Derge use his eletrical attack on Lenny and grit his teeth, the Vice Admiral could do it, the Vice Admiral could survive somehow, but nothing would end if Nishki didnt beat the monster in front of him, he couldnt protect Lenny unless he stopped Derge and took Ikens body from here. Nishki fired a quick fire punch, clenching his huge fist "DORYAAAAAAAAA" He lunged a punch with his strength straight into Derges exposed gut.

"WHAT THE HELL!?!"- A giant blood construction had formed on top of him, now that he had flown into the skies using his geppou. He was constantly using it in an attempt to hover over the battle ongoing below him. He saw the lightning strike the lightning-rod-like-construct and Lenny hardly had any time to react, as the thing seemed to be meters over his head. The only thing he could think of was performing a explosion in front of him (from which he was unaffected due to self-immunity) and juxtaposing it to his geppou. He got away just in time, but was thrown far away from the fight and he crashed against the ground, rolling around.

While he was in the air, and seeing that he was about to hit hard, he had decided not to fight gravity and use tekkai instead. Which covered the first storng blow against the ground, but then he rolled on, getting completely dirty and ripping some parts of his pants and jacket. He stood up, now with a smile on his face and coughed out a lot of dirt.

"At least I'm not dead..." -Lenny muttered and then he seemed to stand on solid air as he used to geppou, to simulate jumping up a staircase towards the giant structure. He didnt know if Derge would let it fall or make it recharge, but as he drew closer to it, he noticed the dagger and the sword inside it. He whipped out sunlight in his hands as if they were whips and whispered: "Coronal Loop!"

[-3 Posts of Sunlight]

With this he attempted to slash multiple times through the structure. The beams were concentrated enough to even cut through steel... and he considered that it would be enough to cut through blood as well.

PostSubject: Re: The Devil's Revenge; An Ocean of Blood and a Warriors Last Breath   The Devil's Revenge; An Ocean of Blood and a Warriors Last Breath Icon_minitimeTue Dec 24, 2013 4:32 am

At first Derge instinctively reacted to the blue ball of fire by raising a wall of blood to put out the flames.  However the fire did nothing more than make a large flare when it actually hit.  In fact, to Derge, it almost felt like the blue flames of regeneration healed his blood.  They weren't hot or effective  for offensive actions.  This lead Derge to one conclusion very quickly.  The Admiral was able to get around his blood wall using the fire as a distraction leaving Derge virtually no time to react.

Blood spikes as strong as steel erupted from Derge's body as well as from the wall of blood towards the Admiral making any hit on Derge a double edged sword.  The spikes were an attempt to pin Nishki down as well as skewer him.  A physical hit from such a punch could easily do a great amount of damage, breaking bones and rupturing organs  causing internal bleeding.  Unfortunately for his foe, internal bleeding wasn't exactly a big deal for someone with Derge's fruit.  It was literally impossible to kill him with blood loss.

The construct in the background fell to earth as the Vice Admiral sliced it to pieces. At this point Lenny was so far away Derge could do little to hit him. However it would be very hard for Derge to avoid a high powered blast of light from such a distance finally giving Lenny a slight advantage.

Nishki felt his punch connect, he at least fractured a rib inside Derges body, as soon as the spikes formed from Derge's body, Nishki immediately turned into a pheonix, he took the hits and pulled out, letting his blue flames surround his wounds avoiding internal injuries , Nishki then used Geppou to launch himself to the side, he immediately reached over to pick up Ikens body, including Ikens head, Nishki then flapped his wings to head for the sky with Ikens body in his talons, he had to secure ikens body before carrying on. Nishki watched Lenny sighing in relief that Lenny had survived Derge's attack, the truth is , if Derge and Nishki fought , it would take weeks due to both of their abilities. Nishki decided to watch from above.

Fighting with his inner thoughts, Jaizen began to laugh maniacally, until he sees a pretty fire bird fly by. "Look at that pretty bird! It brings warmth, life, and soon it will be dead in a blaze of hellfire!" Jaizen exclaims as he extends his black wings outward and rushes at the intense flaming bird with soru speeds. "Kyahaha! Watch as this little birdy gets snuffed out hehe!" Jaizen rages. Unsheathing his sword he begins spinning it this his hands creating a tornado erupting from the dial attempting to entangle the bird in an oxygenless atmosphere.

Blanche watched from the cover of the trees as battle ensued. Her foot splashed in a puddle as she stepped from the cover that the forest provided. As she walked through the battle field the expression on her face did not change. It was cold and unforgiving she would show no mercy. Her allegiance was to Derge and she would strike down anyone or anything fighting against him. Blanche searched to find her place on the battle field and the closest person to her was the admiral fighting against Jaizen in the sky. Her arm was soon extended towards the man in the sky. Although the gesture usually would not be feared, it should be in this case. The sound of the raindrops which splashed on the ground was heard no longer as it was replaced by the sound of small drops of ice hitting the ground. Blanche was sending a freezing wave directly at the Admiral who might soon be caught in a whirlwind. Blanche looked closer and noticed that the admiral seemed to be shrouded by flames, The freezing wave wouldn't disable the admiral but if it hit him he would definitely feel it.

While Derge's crew went to work on the Admiral, Derge lunched into the sky using soru. In an instant he had unleashed his second gear and used the steam to rocket him self even faster upwards. It wasn't long before Derge surpased Nishki in height, and yet he still climbed. All the while he was moving, Derge began to form more and more blood. With all that Admiral Nishki D. Rock had to deal with, it was doubtful he would have noticed Derge taking off. However even if he had it wouldn't have mattered. Derge was ready and set up for his counter.

Admiral Nishki suddenly felt the winds change, from behind he had heard a laugh and immediately saw the tornado start to form and began using geppou to ride the waves of the tornado, twirling and swirling within the vortex, his flames glistening beautifully, as the ice wave came, again Nishki once he reached to the top would use his wings to block the attack, the pheonix flames were healing his insides, regenerating body warmth and twarting the ice through that method avoiding frostbite through regeneration of body temperature.

Nishki stood tall in the sky with his wings now outright as soon as the ice wave passed, he then turned his head to the side, Derge was doing something, Nishki analysed the situation, obviously these new comers were part of Derges crew, they had attacked him from the side and it was now causing him some problem. Nishkis eyes then glared as Derge was forming blood all around him in the sky. Was Nishki going to die some dogs death in this island, the same as Iken did? Nishki thought about Talitha, he didnt understand why in the height of this battle he was thinking about her.

"Damn it!" yelled Jaizen with rage from the his attack having no effect. Watching the whole thing unfold with such skill made him get even more angry. "Kyahahaaha! My next attack wont be so easily dodged!" laughed Jaizen. Jaizen saw a sudden glimpse of Derge climbing high into the sky. Coming to realization at what Derge was doing Jaizen changed personalities."Blanche we need to get out of here!" screamed a different sounding Jaizen. Instead of waiting for a reply, Jaizen used Soru speeds and flew at Blanche and grabbed her, getting her out of the way of what Derge was about to do.

As the structure was disassembled, destroyed, Lenny noticed two swords flashing out of it that hadnt desintegrated like the rest of the blood. Lenny automatically went for one of them, the one known as the Burning Tempest which originally was one of Iken Namikaze's swords. He thought that it could come in handy later and got hold of it while it was still in the air. He immediately attached to his back, where it wouldnt hinder his movement and kept his jumping to stay out of harm.

He noticed that Admiral Nishki was in trouble as Derge changed targets and went directly towards him; Lenny thought that the most sensible thing to do would be to help him. He had apparently recovered Iken's body and had him between his talon's in the phoenix form. The Vice Admiral also noticed that Derge, who had risen towards Nishki, had another of Iken's swords in his hands.

[Flashback]

"It is most important, people... that you know your enemies!" - A Commodore was strolling around in front of a group of lower ranking marines that were lined up in an orderly manner.- "And not only your enemies... but also everyone that surrounds you..."

Apparently this Commodore was someone skeptic about the World Government's policies.

"Throughout your trianing, I want to know that you possess information about each of the Warlords, important revolutionaries and very importantly, the Yonkou!" - he said.

[End of the flasback]

Lenny had learn that from that Commodore... he knew that Yonkou Iken was very known for his use of weapons, since he didnt have a Devil Fruit. Leaving one of those weapons in Derge's possession could be incredibly dangerous. - he thought to himself. Especially if he decided to use it against Nishki. So in that moment Lenny almost flung himself towards the the fight that was taking place midair and formed one Light Bomb in his left hand and two Light Mines in his right hand. He cast the Light Mine's which we weaker, at different points of Derge's body to cause confusion. He then awaited a reaction in order to throw the Light Bomb towards Derge's arm that held Iken's sword.

It was only a moment after her attack had been defeated by the Admiral that Blanche felt the high speed impact of an arm on her stomach. She was startled for a moment but as the two flew to a safe distance Blanche became distracted as she watched the water rushing below her and clutched her fan in her hands hoping that it would not be lost in the flight.

"How far until we're safe?" Blanche yelled to Jaizen.

If they were to ever stop moving Blanche would attempt increase their protection by creating a dome of ice around the two. With Jaizen this scared Blanche figured that they needed an incredible amount of protection.

Derge fell from the sky at amazing speeds using soru combined with his steam gear to jet along even faster. He had long surpassed terminal velocity. In an instant, with all of the blood he had gathered he formed his demon titian. It was massive, seventy-five feet tall and thirty-five feet wide, it was certainly a fat demon. On the outside it had a thick layer of blood as hard and dense as steel as well as a layer of gelatinous goo to protect the user from impacts and vibrations. As far as Lenny was from the battle combined with the speed Derge was moving it would be unlikely his mines would hit. Even if the attack did hit, it’d leave little more damage than a scorch mark, on the massive giant’s exterior. Like bugs hitting a windshield. Derge's main target was Nishki, however it didn't really matter if he dodged it. Simply put, the target would change to the island. If the admiral moved the super-fast moving, extremely large mass would hit the island. The impact alone would almost guarantee anyone within the vicinity would take some damage. It was almost as if a meteor 75 feet by 35 feet was hurtling down towards the admiral and the island. If the admiral chose to dodge it, it'd be a guaranteed death sentence for any of the possible remaining residents of the island. It was as much of a test of the admiral’s sense of justice as it was an attack directed at him. Derge didn't care if he was incapacitated by the attack or not. In a way, even if Nishki got off scot-free from the powerful attack Derge would have won by virtue of the act.

As the titian neared the range where Nishki had been, Derge detached himself from the titan from behind. Using soru, Derge moved like a shot until he was in front of Blanche and Jaizen. Upon impact, the demon would fragment into larger versions of the blood crystals from Derge's previous attack. This time however they'd be closer to the size of a spear, raining down upon the island. Spreading out his arms, Derge braced himself to block the incoming attack; using his own body as a shield to protect his comrades. It wasn't exactly clear why Derge would have done something like this, instead of avoiding the attacks blacklash. Maybe he thought the two he was protecting were useful, or perhaps he simply wanted to show the admiral he was willing to risk it all to save his comrade even if the phoenix admiral wasn't. Or maybe, just maybe he cared for his crew.

Jaizens eyes seemed to turn red as he watched the Titan come to fruition. "Kyahahahahaha!!! So much blood! So much death!" Jaizen laughed maniacally as Derge appeared to cover them from the blast. Jaizen grabbed the container from Derge's back and placed it upon his back, so as to keep it safe. Suddenly, Jaizen seemed to be in awe at the site and the events that were about to unfold. He couldn't keep his eyes off the Titan. Thoughts suddenly rushed through Jaizen's mind at the site of the blood. Memories of a battle up in Skypia and the blood that flowed from Jaizen. Only short glimpses of the memories appeared, making Jaizen's personality change abruptly. The eyes that once seemed full of bloodlust suddenly went soft and confused. What was that I just saw? What is this feeling? Thought Jaizen as he looked down, lost in thought.

Nishki remained in the sky looking up, he slowly turned upwards, using geppou he remained standing as the giant blood titan was falling from the sky. At the corner of his eyes he could see surivivors from Derges previous assault begin to group and run for a ship, the survivors ship. Nishki knew that if this attack hit , it would likely kill the civilians trying to escape below them. Derge detached himself from the titan. Nishki now knew that Derge could use this chance to his advantage, but it didnt matter. Nishki stayed focus, he returned to normal dropping Ikens body, he would have to try and get it later. He faced the titan hurtling towards him.

Nishki wont run, he couldnt run, it was more than him on the line. It was his pride, it was his duty, he will not and cannot run from this no matter what, the innocents who had survived, the people he had to protect , he owed it to them. Nishki furled his fist, his fist gleaming as he pushed his hands back "JUGAN MADARA !!!!!!" Nishkis Jugan was considered probably the most powerful in history, though he figured there might be others with that sort of ability, he had to stop this huge thing with what he had, he then fired his fists against the titan, he felt the titan fragment into blood crystals as he blasted his punches rapidly his body taking in the blasts, he then saw the spears form in other places where the blood titan had been. Nishki immediately used geppou as he turned into a pheonix, using his talons to kick and claw through the spears, swiping at them from mid air. he even let some of the spears clip against his body, feeling the pain as they did he grimaced, but did not waver. Nishki used geppou screeching to slam the other blood crystals away before finally barely he slammed his acceleration on his flight added with geppou and soru to try and reach the civilian ship in time. Nishki then flew in front of the civilian ship, the group of citizens looking above, knowing their death was coming, knowing that these blood spears would hit, the ship couldnt leave as there was still a few people running to make it to the ship, small children couldnt run too fast across the island which was now devastated.

Nishki furled his wings blocking the spears coming through head on, he roared as they slammed against him but he would not falter, he felt the pain even if his flames healed him, he felt the excruciating pain, it was driving him crazy, but he did not falter, he felt the sorrow of these people who had seen hell he felt their anguish, some were already ready to die, yet he did not falter. He roared as the attack slowed down, his flames trying to heal up his wounds as he returned to a normal state, panting heavily as he remained standing in the sky with the cloak adorning the word of JUSTICE on his back, the civilians watched in awe and relief as they somehow managed to survive this. Nishki felt his cap tear into two as it dropped off the sides of his head, he was obviously bruised and tired but his body was somehow still in tact as he regained his composure. "No more will die because of you... I swear it on my honor as a marine i will bring you to justice!!!!!" His cloak flowed in the wind as he glared at Derge. He hoped Lenny would act immediately in accordance to recent events, Nishki trusted Lenny to handle any of the attacks aimed at him, the man was a navy vice admiral, if he couldnt handle himself , Nishki would not have brought him along.

Lenny cursed between his gritting teeth as he saw Derge summon tremendous amounts of blood around himself to form a gigantic titan as he rose past the Admiral. How was that man's stamina so high? He had already fought Iken and was now fighting the Admiral on par. The gargantuan formation that was down to the ground as Derge detached from it blocked off the explosions from his light mines and bomb... one more failed attempt. He felt frustrated as he saw this happen, but Admiral Nishki was going all out against the giant structure, destroying it into a googol of blood crystals and spears that flew in every direction.

Lenny saw Derge run towards his crewmates in what seemed to be a manner to protect them. Lenny sent off waves of rankyaku in order to fend off the blood spears that managed to reach his height, and it was effective. And as he did this, he observed the moving scene. The Admiral protecting the people with his own body... All those innocent people that didnt deserve to die, didnt deserve to be induced into terror by such a terrible force. The Vice Admiral nodded to himself and performed one more enhanced geppou lift into the sky, and as he did this he rose his arms as he muttered: "Heliosphere...."

The innocent people from below and the Admiral would see this as a small person in the middle of the sky below what seemed to be a second sun formed in the sky, completely unaffected by the weather. This sphere was so big and so powerful that it would completely devastate the area. Lenny only used this attack in very special situations, but he deemed the occasion appropriate for this incredibly powerful attack to be used, since the people were escaping and the Admiral was there to protect them in any case; and Derge deserved such a massive destruction technique to be used against him.

He then moved the gargantuan sphere below him and he launched himself towards the ground pushing the attack downwards, as if the sun itself was collapsing against the earth, in direction to Derge. The geppou and momentum helped him cast the sphere at high speeds towards the place and he geppou-ed away, landing harsh against the ground, but reducing the impact with another geppou. The area would be fulminated by deadly heat and tremendous explosive power that Lenny hoped could go through Derge's blood barriers.

He wasnt worried of how the explosion could affect him, since he was unaffected by his own power, but he detached Burning Tempest from his back in order to fend off any flying debris that could come his way, and he was sure that a lot of it would.
