Fukitsu Kuro

Weapon name: Fukitsu Kuro, literally meaning "Sinister Black"

Description: It's a rather short katana, sometimes giving the impression that it's a saber rather than a katana due to it's size, that is all black colored. The hilt is also black, although the protector, the hilt's edge, and some bead decorations on the hilt are all silver colored. The blade is very thin and sharp, and it's all black-colored, as mentioned above. This sword is also a Meito; it's rank being "Ryo Wazamono"

Weapon special abilities: It has an extremely sharp and light blade, which allows swift movement, as well as the ability to slice through hard objects, such as iron (assuming the swordsman using it is capable of utilizing it to such proficiency). While obviously a good sword, it's nowhere near as strong, durable or sharp as the "Shiro Sazanami". However, due to it's very thin thickness, it can slice with such precision, it gives the impression that the sliced object would just become one piece if the pieces were put together (too bad swords don't work that way).

History: Not as much of a history for that one of Shadow's swords, unlike the Shiro Sazanami. It was taken away from a marine during a fight his crew had with a task force of marines sent to ambush them. Shadow, being "Saito's" student, also took a liking on getting his hands on prized swords, and he kept it, replacing an ordinary katana he previously had as a second sword.
