bounties

now... i KNOW ive brought this up before, but seeing as how we are getting some more traffic, which is good, why dont we try to come up with a system that allows bounties to increase based off of events that take place in the RP...

now by all means, this wouldnt be an invitation to start doing GINORMOUSLY impossible deeds, like if you try to take on impel down, and the admin's dont see it as feasable at your current level, then you lose and are captured or something like that... but the point of being a pirate is to have your bounty increase. i KNOW what you're gunna say admin-sama... this is before the era of luffy and crew, so they wouldnt have that high of a bounty based off of currency to time period. however... broggy and dorry both had a bounty of 100 million, and luffy still could have beaten up on them while he had his bounty at only 30000000. but if you think about it, and i know you will being the reasonable person you are, then some of the characters in this RP are going to eventually do something big, such as rescue a prisoner from impel down, kill the tenryubito, or sabotage the entirety of the marines. it isnt feasible for someone who has beaten a vice captain to only have a bounty of 1800. Just think about it, and i'd be more than happy to like... iunno, make a spreadsheet that dictates how much your bounty increases based on your actions, and you can be in charge of whats feasible in terms of what people can do based on their bounty... like... their bounty can be their combat level.

sano beat a vice-ADMIRAL and broke people out of a prison, stole experimental weaponry, is related to noted weapons dealers, attacked 3 different navy crew AND has top secret military knowledge but he is still 1800!
